101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: November 14, 2023, 09:21:59 AM
`

I think that one of the reasons for addiction is because of the lack of responsibility of people when they gamble, because at that moment when you are in a casino many things are played, the first is that we are older, adults, and we must assume everything. What we do there, we risk money, and for this it is very easy for things to get delicate, but who likes to lose money? No one, not even the most multimillionaire person, does not like to lose money, that is something obvious, so before all this, we have to consider all these points and also know a little that casinos have their house advantage and that it is not easy win, for this I have always said something very clear, before entering a casino we must establish our budget, that is, our money willing to lose, so that there is no type of regret if we lose it in a game session, the important thing It is to establish that so as not to deposit more money, because if more money is deposited it is most likely that it will be lost.

Not all cases are like this, but the highest percentage of cases and all cases always work like this, it is very strange that when they deposit more they can recover the losses, then it is recommended that they do not do it, and once they have established the amount of money willing to lose, it would be very good for the person to play intelligently and not bet a lot of money at once, because you can lose very quickly and you will not enjoy anything at all, if you do it well, you can play, dissferutar and may even win, which is what is sought.

We, as gamblers, must avoid losing money in the casino at all costs, which is why some people who fall into addiction can lose a lot of money, and losing a lot of money does complicate things in their lives, so things must be very measures in these cases, you must always have control of everything so as not to have bad times and to ensure that those times do not prolong.

I have an idea: educational programs for gamblers. Does that sound strange? Maybe, but give it some thought. People could learn how to gamble properly if they took a course on smart betting. Wouldnt that change the game? We could talk about tactics, how to handle risks, and even the psychology of gambling. Make bettors smart players, not just hopeful risk-takers.

Also, lets add some tech flair with gambling apps that have boundaries and learning tools built in. Imagine a gambling app that not only keeps track of your money but also gives you real-time advice on how to gamble smart.

Turn gambling from a hasty run into a planned marathon. The three Es of smart gambling are educate, equip, and enable. Its not enough to just not lose; you should also play smart and enjoy the experience, win or lose

I think even if we have an educational program for gamblers it would be 50:50. We all know that there are some people who are irresponsible when it comes to gambling I personally know one person who is really addicted to gambling, at first he won and the next day he lost his money and still playing because he is hoping to win. Now he's in debt, a more than hundred thousand. He did not control himself. Personally, I bet on some online casinos but I have my limitations. If I win, I cash out my capital and play the rest I earn.

I'm the kind of bettor who plays casinos for fun, not for living. It is really hard to have a huge debt. Don't be a risk-taker and be smart always.

102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin's Price Surges and Drops Unexpectedly on: November 14, 2023, 05:00:40 AM
Supply and Demand, just like how your local market works. At some point, we cannot control the price of it because anybody can affect the price of Bitcoin. That is why you should know how to play with the market. It is important to have basic knowledge, because if you just carelessly buy BTC without the prior knowledge and you expect to gain without it, you might lose your money.

104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 30, 2023, 05:23:08 PM
The problem OP is you do not own the money in the bank. You have no right to touch it except for the purpose of your education. Indeed you need to have a proper education in order to learn and understand the proper ways of managing finances. In your situation, you are thinking about gambling and not investing. You're still young, finish your studies since the world has a lot of opportunities for you once you are done with your schooling.

Sooner or later you will understand the world of investing. Bitcoin is a high-risk reward investment which is why you need to invest only what you can afford to lose. You don't borrow money in order to invest in bitcoin. And you don't borrow money if you have no work or business, otherwise, you cannot pay it back.
Whatever you say is right, but the fact that he could earn a good profit if he had invested in Bitcoin earlier and there is a possibility that he might earn some if he does it now or when the market dips a little because the whole market is anticipating the bull run to start next year after the halving event. However, you are right that one shouldn't gamble with the cryptocurrency market since the market is extremely volatile and unpredictable and one can't do much without having ample knowledge.

Kids these days are already into investments, managing their own finances, and working to build their future while our generation never really cared about all these things at such a young age. I believe it's a good thing if someone stays away from useless things and is actually interested in learning things that can be useful for them in the future.
Yes, I am into investment after I finished my Bachelor’s and I already fulfilled some of my dream. If I have money way back freshmen days I will definitely invest in btc. Imagine I didn’t expect BTC to be big as of today. I will be a instant millionaire if i only have money to buy btc. Market these day are so unpredictable, but this is the best time to buy coins for me. Bull is coming and that is the best moment some of us waiting.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: October 30, 2023, 04:33:30 PM
Lotteries are games of chance and luck and in every 100 lottery ticket buyers, 99 will lose and only 1 can be lucky to win, this is how hard the lottery is to win and that is why i personally view and take the lottery as the most real gambling since everything entirely depends on luck and nothing else and at some point we have to be proactive in some of the approaches we conceive around all of this things and how best we allow them to interfere with what we do most times and how we select our lottery tickets number and our expectations around it.
This is the reason why everytime I buy lottery ticket (because I have numbers in mind) I consider it as a throw away money since the chance to win is close to impossible. However, even that is the case it's not a pain to try our luck especially the ticket is not expensive to have a regret if you didn't win, well at least you try. Therefore it's not really a waste that we buy ticket instead of buying food, because you'll never know what's going to happen and who knows your bought ticket might change your life. Just don't get your hopes high.
Buying lottery tickets is just for fun and we don't have much hope of being the winner. We know that to be a winner on a lottery ticket requires great luck so that we can eliminate other gamblers. And there will be time to wait until our number comes out.

If we just had fun buying lottery tickets, maybe we could be the winner but it's still unlikely. It is true that in buying lottery tickets, we must use money that we are willing to use for gambling. This is so that we don't get disappointed because we had hoped too much to be the winner.

And let it be if there are people who buy lottery tickets in large quantities. Maybe they already have their calculations for buying that lottery ticket. What is certain is that the lottery requires luck to win.
Yup, I also buy lottery ticket for fun, like 1 out of 5 million chance to win. Just like every other say. Gamble responsible, if you dont have money then don’t try or do it. Here in our country, lottery now is so suspicious. Like every week there’s a winner? Like how? It looks like there’s an inside job.

If you want to play, just play. Don’t put any feelings when you gamble your money.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 30, 2023, 02:21:17 PM
If you are betting for fun then bet at casinos. If you are playing to make money then bet sports.
If you are playing to make money, expect that you're going to lose more money than you can win which is definitely what's going to happen when you gamble for the money and not for fun. If you're a responsible person, the best thing that you can probably do is to stop gambling once and for all or limit yourself and learn how to control your emotions when gambling which is harder to do because depending on you're gambling routine, each session is going to challenge you.
We should always make sure that we stay safe and don't involve in bet that would sweep our bankroll just because we want to make huge profits from the market. Safety is the first thing we should always look at because without that we might accumulate so much loses that will affect us mentally and it could lead to more lose and gambling addiction. Whatsoever we are doing as a gambler, we should measure the risk we are taking and the profits we are going to make to see if the risk is what taking. Gambling is not a compulsory stuff to make profits consistently.

All the actions that you take will reflect to you that's the reason why it's important to make sure that you are doing it the right way,  there's always a risk but if you are responsible enough you'll be able to prevent things to let you lose a lot, if you can handle the pressure and continue being in control with your actions,  it's enjoyable as it is but behind that entertainment there's a big risk of losing control  and creates big problem as an effect  of irresponsible gambling practices.

There is risk in everything we do that is why we need to be ready for any outcome we get when we gamble liwk someone that is fully prepared for anything. Gambling can be very frustrating if we don't follow rules or when we are too greedy in some certain games that we supposed to bet with small fund. We all as a gambler have greed in us because we are humans but it is important for us to learn how to control the level of our greed so that it will not affect us when we gamble atimes. Those that are expecting too much from gambling might be a victim of loses if they are not able to control there emotions.

Most of the time they are the victims as they think that gambling can bring them easy money making venue, not knowing that it was the gambling facilitators who are doing it from them, I mean, gambling was design to make some decent profits from the gamblers and it was the owners that will benefit from the participants and if times that gamblers will be lucky to win some, just count some time or days that they will be back and will lose everything again.

Sad true, but like what you mentioned, greed is on us. We are human who can't be exempted with how things work when gambling already penetrates inside us.

I think one of the factors why people want to gamble is because they have a friend who gambles and tells them to try it because it's easy money yet they don't look that they might lose. They just aim to win and not look into the other side of gambling. Some of them are lucky and some others are not, as simple as that. Just accept the fact that we don't have the same luck as others. I play slot machines online, sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. That's how gambling works.

Yep, that is the sad truth behind in that matter "greed" we are always thirsty for money.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins (Pepes project)? on: October 30, 2023, 12:59:09 PM
There was a time when people used to like these meme tokens. It will be wrong if you say these are coins. But people started to believe that most of these tokens are scams. There is a reason behind it. Most of the token developers run away once their tokens get valuable. People loves these coins for a reason.

Don't really remember those times after everyone started copying DOGE, to be honest. Feels like all of them just trying to make a buck and not being honest.

Yup, when DOGE started a lot of coins just pop like a mushroom. They know that those coins aren't gonna get to the top, yet they still purchase it. Just for the sake of trend. I honestly don't know why do they love to fall into a scam like that.

109  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga Artista Na Scam Ng Crypto Investment on: October 24, 2023, 11:59:59 AM

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hbLUZgBUBM

May pambayad naman siguro to kasi sobrang daming niya toy collection.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife. on: October 18, 2023, 10:50:50 AM
I promised in a post on this forum a few months ago. I had a plan to give half of my bitcoin investment to my wife after marriage. I got married a few days ago. First I gave my wife all the ideas about Bitcoin. I was surprised to hear my wife, as soon as I told my wife about Bitcoin, she said that she had heard the name of Bitcoin before. I thought it would be very difficult to convince girls. But my wife was able to understand about Bitcoin very easily. I gave him half of the investment as per my word. He is very happy to get Bitcoin. My wife plans to hold bitcoin for a long time. Now you can say it is better to give girls gold jewelery than bitcoins. I have given gold ornaments to my wife as per her wish. Have any of you managed to teach your wife Bitcoin? Have any of you gifted bitcoin to a wife like me?
My wife also join me in my trading in the past She even learn small trading but as the market continues to be volatile  , she passed and only Holding some of our crypto asset now in Her own wallets.
but given her half of my investment? nope I will do it because I even handle her our Keys for the future of our children.
I love her and my family so I care nothing if even what bad things happen in the future at least i have clear heart that i entrusted her our crypto asset.
Lucky you brother, my wife doesn't give me any dime to invest again. Though all my holdings bought us some furniture for our room. Yet she does not want me again to invest. But I gave all the idea of having holding and how the market works, and when the time she invest without even telling me. She bought the wrong coin and it went dump. She doesn't even ask me what coins should she buy and she just lost. I still convincing her to invest again, either in BTC,ETH, or BNB.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which old coin do you prefer? Litecoin or Dogecoin? on: October 16, 2023, 01:01:16 PM
Among the good-old coins listed on the market today, which one do you prefer the most? Litecoin or Dogecoin? The former is often used for serious cross-border payments at a fraction of the cost, while the latter is used more for micropayments/tipping. Despite these differences, it's no secret that DOGE is faster and cheaper to use than LTC itself (Dogecoin's block time is lower than Litecoin's, while market prices are cheaper). I'd choose both as they're tried-and-tested blockchain networks with decentralization and security/reliability in mind.

What would be your pick? And why did you choose that coin in the first place? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

I think I'll go with Litecoin, for my personal preference Doge isn't that good coin. It's just that it came from meme and who's gonna take that seriously? Yup, Doge built his name for hype and that's it. It just ended up like that. I know a person who invested her money in Doge and regretted it, I warned her about Doge and she doesn't listen to me. Her money disappeared in thin air.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: October 16, 2023, 11:14:54 AM
It's just a meme coin. I know a person, very close to me and I warned her not to buy this coin, I think she spent 5,000 or 10,000 pesos, and a bad thing happened, her money disappeared in thin air. I already know that this coin will not be good and it is made for fun.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think are currently still cheap but have good potential for on: October 16, 2023, 11:01:28 AM
I think XRP is a potential coin, when I started inventing. XRP is just $0.194 back then, and now XRP is already $0.49. This will be a potential coin in the future, it might hit $1 in 4-5 months. Unfortunately, I already stopped investing in XRP. I'm planning again to invest in XRP.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge vs hodlings on: October 15, 2023, 10:40:33 PM
I've known btc way back 2017 and my friend introduced this to me, as a beginner, it's really hard to understand everything. The first thing I did was study here in the forum, an endless reading. By the time I was confident enough to invest, my best friend and I started to invest and hold btc and some other coins. So basically you need knowledge first and be sure you are ready to accept the risk of investing in btc or any other coins.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: December 15, 2020, 07:42:26 PM
I’m still holding my coin until now and I bought XRP last 5 hours ago. They are scared of price dropping, but it was total normal for me. Lot of things can happen in a seconds. I can hold my coins for a year if I am really want to earn, I don’t want to lose a penny here.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great news for XRP coin holders? on: December 15, 2020, 12:02:03 PM
I am currently holding XRP and as usual it goes up and down, but XRP is really a potential coin and we all knew that. I really want to add more because it is in low price. It is really good to buy now and hold it until the exchange rate will meet you expectation. We just need to have a lot of patience in here.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: December 15, 2020, 11:08:38 AM
it really hurt when I worked on the bounty program until it ended,
and the prize was not given to me, yes it was the most painful experience I have received,
but I am not easy to give up, I am still trying my luck at the bounty.
I know how you feel, i had the same experience, and more than once. For those bounty projects i don't get my pay, my method was blacklisting the bounty manager, maybe some are not manager fault, but i still don't want to work with them. I don't give up too.
I’ve been through this back in time. I think 5 bounties did not pay us and 3 translations I guess? It is really hurt when I experienced that. When I stated participating in bounties all of the campaigns I participated are legit but when 2018 starts, lot of scammer roam in the forum. And that’s why I stopped from joining and focus in my career. Now I am here again, trying again to earn and learn. But the lesson to this is do not stop.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: For Bounty Hunters on: December 15, 2020, 10:50:07 AM

Its about time some of the bounty hunters understood that running after bounties is a waste of time now. If you want to get paid get a job or gain some skills and apply for jobs in real life.
Again merit sources are partial towards those who have been spamming the bounty sections. However we have many users who started as bounty hunters but became well known/well awarded with merits in the longer run. Why not strive to be someone like them?

Hi
what are you talking about buddy?
welcome to the forum
I think you are new here, try to make useful threads and don't bring up something that you have never experienced before.
You need to explore this forum first and read a lot.

I'm just amazed at your viewpoint on bounty hunters.

to be precise here I see that you are wasting your time. we work seriously and not joke like you.
We don't participate in autograph campaigns once or twice, which is why we understand little by little. If you think we are wasting our time, then it is clear that your accusation is wrong
Yup I guess he/she is new to the forum, for newbies it is really hard to understand forum at first but when you explore and learn about what going on here, you will realize and learn a lot. We are not wasting time in here, you can do a lot if you really strive for something. If you have dreams in life, maybe doing this is the gateway to it. I’ve been doing this for years though I stop, still I know what happen here.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 03, 2020, 04:11:08 PM
I’m not into it though i have 3 online wallet. I also have other online on my mobile. I’m still into cash because here in our country not all store have mobile wallet and it is easy to transact in cash. Mobile wallet is hassle, you need internet connection or data to pay for you expenses and that is why it is not important for me.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: December 03, 2020, 06:45:39 AM
For me this is not new, back when I am college I want to invest in bitcoin and buy as much as I can. Unfortunately I am just a student and I started here in forum I am joining campaign and from that I earn for at least 4 times I guess and the next campaigns that’s when it started I experienced being scammed. Now i bought bitcoin and planning to buy more in the next few days.
