101  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Domain for sale: amil.be on: January 27, 2014, 03:05:50 AM
What does "amil" stand for?

Yeah, I'm also lost as to what this domain is supposed to be...

0.05 BTC First Bid!  Also a free bump!  Grin
103  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] three 1 BTC Casascius Coins (U.S) on: January 26, 2014, 10:51:56 PM
So, are all three coins unredeemed?  Or is it just the 1BTC 2013 Gold/Silver coin and 2011 Error 1 BTC coin?

Thanks!

Or maybe the 27inch (or whatever is the largest) iMacs?

I'm off to work, but if this still hasn't been done by the time I get home I'll edit this post with a public key generated in this fashion.
106  Economy / Services / Re: Website Preview: BITADS.NET. Now Pay-Per-Day! on: January 26, 2014, 02:39:49 AM
I was really happy with Bitads until the wallet emptied and ads started loading very slowly.  I moved to Operation Fabulous for now, but I'd really love to move back to Bitads...  Guess I'll keep an eye on the thread and see if anything changes.

Call it how you see it sweetheart. If anyone here wants the truth about me, a simple video call on skype will provide proof!  Kiss
I will have to also see video of the person while we do this...

Well, how's this for proof?

Wrong name, wrong location, wrong age.  Posting pictures that are about 5 months old according to the website Google Image Search found... and all this from a newbie account that was made today.

Unless you're going to post a new picture with your BTC username in it, I'm going to call Shenanigans on this one.

Very interesting.

As far as the debate going on here, why doesn't Gweedo just generate a weak address (not just any address, one that meets to criteria that Evil-Knievel sets out) and post it here.  Evil-Knievel can send a small amount of coins to the address, then crack the address and take his coins back?

Alternatively, and considerably more interestingly in my opinion, you could agree on a third party/escrow to generate a weak address.  Then both Gweedo and Evil-Knievel deposit a set (small) amount of BTC to the address.  Then Evil-Knievel has a set amount of time to break the private key before the Escrow sends all of the coins to Gweedo.

Just sayin'  Wink

According to the internet, that's a porn actress named Jasmine Wolff.

Google->Image Search is your enemy!

Thanks for the reply.  I'll take a closer look at your service when I've got some time, but like I said, it's almost too hard to say no to the basic plan.  Grin
112  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 20$ in btc - giveaway - follow on twitter - steam game wow amazing on: January 23, 2014, 11:46:50 PM
I followed on Twitter.
Hope you get 150 soon.
Looks interesting.
How can we redeem $20?

The $20 will be in Bitcoins... you can redeem them on Coinbase?

Yes please.

Looks like it was a recaptcha or whoever wetsuit uses problem.  Cryptsy's was also broken for awhile.  Everything is up and running now though!

How about iTunes?  Grin

Is anyone else having this problem?  I've reset my computer and tried a different PC, but no Captcha is showing up.  I don't use Ad-Blockers or anything like that, and I'm the only one in my household who knows what BTC stands for.

As people seem to be interested, we will make a "will it melt?" video and posting it here! Stay tuned.

Can't wait!

That basic plan is almost too cheap to not grab.  I'll check it out a bit and make a decision soon.

How long do you anticipate this promotion lasting (all week)?

Is the "recurring discount" good for as long as we keep the same plan?

Does the "discount" carry on or the "discounted price" for the plan?  (i.e. If I setup a plan and keep it for 3 years, and you change the price of the plan on the 2nd year do I get 50% off that price or do I keep paying the price as it was when I signed up?)

How do recurring payments work with BTC, do clients receive a bill/invoice before their current plan has expired?"

Thanks!

Guys, I have a question since I'm new to "cold storage." If I store all my coins into the card, how do I take it out to use it?

You simply import/sweep the private key into your client of choice.  Check out this website for some information on how to do that: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_to_import_private_keys
Where do I find my so called... private key...

For these, you would use a program or website (like https://www.bitaddress.org/) to generate a public/private key set.

If you want to use https://www.bitaddress.org/ then... click on the "Paper Wallet" tab along the top, then check the box for "BIP38 Encrypt?", enter a suitably long passphrase (and make sure you don't forget it  Grin), then click on "Generate".  This will produce public/private key pairs that are BIP38 encrypted for you to use on these cards.
