Ordinary Investors profit in two different ways by investing. Firstly our platform will be capable of creating and voting for proposals belonging to social wefare. This would help not only to build a better community but also increase the user base as more and more people get involved .
Secondly , the INDI token is an ERC20 compatible token which can be traded, bought and exchanged at exchanges hence providing opportunities for sucessfully gaining profits for investors.

Indicoin is a decentralized autonomous cryptocurrency and a social service platform that enables users to use smart contracts to provide social proof to the community through a  decentralized, unbiased and transparent voting process thereby incentivizing and encouraging the user community to undertake more such social tasks. Indicoin is a first ever social platform where people can not only contribute but also validate through any kind of content post anonymously from anywhere, anytime and also earn through it.

Indicoin tokens give the member of the community the right to raise a proposal and vote for proposals of other members. Every Indicoin holder will be a member of the community on the decentralised App(App). Also, one can stay anonymous.
Suppose I am doing something which will ultimately lead to upliftment of the society. So I raise a proposal on the platform(DApp). Upload my proof of work which can be anything like a live video, images, genuine documentation.

This proof of work is now reviewed by other members of the platform and a transparent and unbiased voting process takes place on the platform. Members can either upvote the proposal or down vote it.  If my proposal is found to be genuine I get Indicoins as a reward. Also, the members who upvoted me will get Indicoins. If my proposal gets downvoted or rejected, members who downvoted will receive the Indicoins. Two consecutive rejection will lead to the suspension of the right to raise the proposal.  
Indicoins are ERC20 tokens built on top of ethereum. So IPFS, Smart contracts(ethereum) and the distribution protocol developed by our team will decide to whom and how many coins will be allocated.

I'll give you an example. One day, I plant a tree in my backyard and upload a video doing so. Now, all the group members will either upvote it or downvote it. Upvote means they are satisfied that I really did it, downvote it if it seems that I did the trick and didn't actually do the job. As a whole, votes will be calculated and if I really did plant the tree I'll be rewarded. This is just an example, there are million other test cases that can be implemented. When people will be rewarded with some thing like Indicoin by doing something good towards society then it will motivate people to do good. More and more people will come in it and demand will go up for Indicoin.

We can see that the Indian government, like any government, is slow to recognize the impact of cryptocurrencies. But when it does, the system is expected to be mature and widespread. In case, the government does ban it. We'll refund the exact amounts to user wallets.                        
Also, we are still a bit unsure with what government regulations apply to us we're new but determined so we are still figuring that out.

WordPress was used to keep the timeline and the reach of the project in mind. After a successful crowdsale campaign, a proper website will be developed along with back end functionalities and the Indicoin platform incorporated in it. We are currently in talks with NGO's and other non profit organisations to incorporate our platform to their existing methodology of distributing funds for social causes. After the full development of the Indicoin platform we will surely start up talks with goverment entities to use our existing platform .

It is true that if the proposal passes through community voting then each of the users that voted for the proposal will gain some fraction of the assigned value and if the proposal doesnot pass through the community then the users who voted against the proposal will recieve a fraction of the INDI tokens available for the proposal. Using this scheme we aim to incentivize the user to make correct decisions and engage in the voting process.

The name Indicoin comes from the place of the inception of the idea as well as the nature of its platform which is independent. The entire platform when developed will be usable across the world. Hence people from anywhere could participate and earn INDI tokens which would be tradeable on listed exchanges.

Yes this is really the first time an Indian Virtual Currency is being developed. It is also true that most people in India live below the poverty line however benefits to the Investor is two folds .
Firstly, INDI tokens will be a tradeable VC which will be listed on various exchanges hence people from all over the world can profit from its sale and purchase.
Secondly, The Indicoin platform will aim to work for social welfare and development hence providing the investors a sense of satisfaction that their investment will be used for social causes and the betterment of the society.
