101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WinMiner v1.91a - auto switch windows app for multi miner optimization on: December 12, 2017, 10:22:28 PM
If I am not mistaken winminer is just another frontend for your several miners on your rig. and they eat 3% of all your earnings?  Hence why use such a frontend is beyond me. I am using awesome miner as a fronend which is available as a free version with the number  of miners you can control being limited or as different pro versions against a one time payment. That is much more transparent in my opinion.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS B250 Mining Expert MB - 19 Cards! on: December 12, 2017, 10:09:34 PM
Hey Guys,

My hashrates are 10% lower with this Mobo.  Anyone experiencing this?  Same GPUs on ASrock or MSI board perform better.  Any advice is appreciated.  Also, my afterburner (4.4 beta 16 & 19) is not working anymore

RX580 x 8, 8 gB ram, Intel Celeron, Windows 10 pro.

What is your hashrate and on what algorithm? I am running 10 RX580 GPUs on an ASROCK H110 Pro BTC+ mobo and Hashrate on ETN is average 8350 h/s. afterburner also not working for me. Seems to be incompatible with drivers from 17.11 onwards. I am using TRIXX instead (sapphire).
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: very slow ethereum hashrate with amd gpu's using claymore 10.0 and 10.2 on: December 12, 2017, 09:50:05 PM
I have a rig running windows 10 made up of 4 rx 580's, 5 rx 570's(all modded for max hashrate) and 4 gtx 1060's on the asrock h110, 8 gb ram. When I mine the Pirl currency using claymore I get between 30 and 32 mh/s per amd gpu. When I mine Ethereum using claymore(with exact same settings) for some reason I get 22-24 mh/s per amd gpu(about 8 mh/s lower per card than it should be). The Nvidia gpu's give me the same hashrate for both Pirl and Ethereum.

I have tried mining with 1 amd gpu at a time but still get 22-24 mh/s. I thought it might be that I didn't have enough virtual memory so I bumped it up to 64 gb but still no change. I have tried both crimson 11.1 and adrenaline 12.1 amd drivers(currently using newest amd driver adrenaline 12.1). The rig is stable mining Ethereum running all 13 gpu's hitting 300 mh/s at 1500 watts from the wall. Mining Pirl with all 13 gpu's gives me 370 mh/s at 1650 watts from the wall. A power usage difference of about 150 watts

For some reason it seems like the amd gpu's are being throttled when mining Ethereum. Causing them to hit a lower hash rate and use less power. I haven't changed any settings in Claymore to over/underclock the gpu's so its really odd that this would be happening. If I mine Ethereum using the exact same settings that I use for mining Pirl I still get the 8 mhs difference per card even though both are running using the same EthDcrMiner64.exe.

Anybody experienced/experiencing a similar issue? I have a second smaller rig with 2 rx 580's and it is getting 31 mh's per card mining Ethereum with claymore using the same settings as the rig thats only getting 22-24. This problem has me totally confused.

Any ideas or thoughts would be a big help.

Maybe the drivers, or the mixture of GPUs? That would be my guess if otherwise a system with 2 GPUs produces 31mh per card (which is quite normal for this card with modded Bios. I have a rig with 10 RX580 GPUs which I could only get working with drivers 17.11.3 and 17.11.4 but not with the AMD blockchain drivers....

Hot water preparation and heating miners are produced in Ukraine.

Mining in Ukraine seems to be a risky business these days... https://bitcoinschannel.com/national-bank-of-ukraine-struggles-to-clarify-bitcoins-legal-status-as-mining-farms-in-kyiv-raided-by-police/
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD New Drivers Adrenalin - mining Perf same, Claymore temp/fan monitoring broke on: December 12, 2017, 09:27:01 PM
Just looks like more bloatware for gamers and still shows a known issue with 12+ GPU's. AMD blockchain drivers on Windows v1703 are working fine for me with RX 570/580's and I don't see a reason to change.

Blockchain drivers support only upto 8 GPUs if I am not mistaken. I am running on 17.11.4 drivers which support upto 12 GPUs and my rig with 10 GPUs is running stable. Hence why change?
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Noob Question About Power Plugs to GPUs on: December 12, 2017, 09:11:54 PM
According to my knowledge there are 1200 or even 1600 watt PSUs available which provide sufficient connectors for 6 cards. By my experience you must however use ONE PSU to provide power for the mainboard, all risers and harddisc/SSD. GPUs itself can be powered by a second PSU. For example I have a rig with 10 RX580 GPUs. Mainboard, risers, SSD and 5 GPUs are lowered by a 1200 PSU which draws around 950 watt from the wall. the other 5 GPUs are on a second 1200 PSU which draws around 450 Watt from the Wall.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash hacked? on: December 12, 2017, 06:35:09 PM
Moreover you all need to consider the small miner payout schedule of around 1 week... Something goes wrong you loose whatever you have mined during 1 week in the worst case. I have changed to an Electroneum pool where I get paid to my wallet every hour. Unless Nicehash changes something about that I will definitely not be going back. How do ya all see that? I lost about 90 USD due to this security breach....

I am having a problem with cast-xmr klatest version ) which mines at only 3100 h/s whereas claymore reaches 7400 h/s on the same system....

Win10 64 uptodate
6 Sapphire RX580 cards with modified BIOS
4 MSI RX580 cards with modified BIOS
AMD driver 17.11.2 (Blockchain beta drivers not working for me because only upto 8 cards supported)

Any ideas?
I'll give you a hint.
Your answer is in the title of this thread.
It's a bit hidden, I'll admit, but it's one very specific word you're looking for.

I'll help.
It's located between the words RX and GPUs.

It supports 580's just fine.  You should be able to get 700-1k h/s on each depending on how well you can memstrap and OC it.
Just fine is meh. Why use cast on rx570/580 if it's not optimised for these cards? I get over 800 on my rx570's using Claymore. 1k I'd seriously love to see that. No freely distributed miner can achieve that with these cards... that I know of anyway.

I get over 800 per card with claymore and amdxmr miner (https://www.amdxmrminer.com/) but cards get quite hot. Not the sapphires, they stay at around 66 deg celsius but the MSI cards go upto 75 which is quite warm. So I reduced voltage, power limit, GPU and MEM freq. on the MSI cards. And with h regards to your hint I have obviously seen the word but if you have a look at the OP you will see that it clearly says thst RX480/RX580 are supported.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner v3.8 on: December 10, 2017, 02:29:45 PM
I seem to have a temp problem which I cannot identify.

My setup
Win 10 64
AMD drivers 17.11.2
6 Sapphire RX580 8GB cards (GPU 1150, MEM 1250, Voltage -32 Powerlimit - 6)
4 MSI RX580 8GB cards (GPU 1050, MEM 1150, Voltage - 32, Powerlimit-6)

Claymore hashrate 7400 h/s

Sapphire cards reach about 65 deg. but MSI cards around 75 deg. I find temp for MSI cards a bit high and system becomes noisy as fans working by 75%.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

For me drivers dont work... I have Mainboard Asrock H110 Pro BTC, 10 cards (6 x sapphire RX580 8GN special  edition snd 4 MSI RX580 8 GB armor Oc). Blockchain beta driver causes bluescreen showing atikmpag.sys Anybody have  ideas how to solve?
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hminers- Obviously a Scam?! on: August 22, 2017, 04:34:15 AM
Hello everybody,

Hminers is obviously a scam because

A) no such dual or triple miners exist in the world
B) the website was created in June 2017 and is hosted in romania
C) the company with HQ in Miami does not exist (everybody can check the state registry of Florida... http://search.sunbiz.org/Inquiry/CorporationSearch/SearchResults?inquiryType=EntityName&searchNameOrder=HMINERSTECHNOLOGIES&searchTerm=Hminers technologies Inc)

Best regards and happy mining.

Frank
