101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the cause of the market downturn? on: January 17, 2018, 12:44:16 PM
I Saw in the news the Korea is shutting their bitcoins. This could be the reason why BTC prices are experiencing a dump, As we all know Korea also is a Major player with cryptocurrency. Because of this people are panicking to sell their coins before it is too late. but for me it is an opportunity to buy more coins while prices are down as I still see a bright future for cryptocurrency.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I already want to buy some coins. Do you still need to wait? on: January 17, 2018, 05:16:22 AM
now is the time to buy, coins are low, so if ever it pumps up again you still get profits out of it. just don’t be greedy enough to wait until the lowest possible price as you never know when will be the lowest it will hit you should set goals. the market is highly volatile any second it could pump up again if you are the kind of person who waits till the lowest it will reach before you buy you may not catch up when it pumps up again. if you buy now which the prices are considerably lower all you have to do is just to wait for the coins to be pumped up back with an assurance of some good profits.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why every coin dumping now? I am losing huge money on: January 17, 2018, 05:09:56 AM
you are not loosing money yet until such time you sell your coins at todays rate, if i were you hold on to your coins, and just monitor the market, monitor does not mean you have to watch ot 24/7 maybe just check it once a day and do some other stuff for a while the prices are low. or if you have some cash to spend now is the time to buy huge potential coins, as it will pump up again for sure gaining you huge profits.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: January 17, 2018, 12:21:19 AM
if bitcoin decreases i will just have to hold on to my coins and buy btc more at cheaper price then hold on to it again, as this coin should go up again in no time. by that time you will have big profits..so take the oppurtunity while bit coin is down today.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need tips on investing in alt coins! on: January 16, 2018, 11:41:37 AM
First of all before even thinking of investing you should know your budget and how much money you are willing to loose. Let's face it not all investments turns out good so it is always better to invest the money you are willing to loose. Second is to do your research on the potential altcoins you want to invest in, check on historical trends and other factors affecting the rise and fall of prices, next is plan when to invest. After doing all your research you should have a better understanding and information on when the price drop, what is the lowest drop and highest amount the coin has ever reach so you have atleast the idea when to invest. Always buy low and sell high to get profits out of your coins, consider as well the transaction fees when computing for potential income. Never sell a coin when the price is lower than what you bought it for instead just hold on to those coins and sell in a later time when their prices pumps.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to judge this is not a trustworthy team? on: January 16, 2018, 03:36:34 AM
Well we can't really tell if a team is a bunch of scumbags or a trustworthy team, that is why buying coins is always a high risk gamble. You may earn as much or loose as much. For me I just do some research on the team, their whitepaper, roadmaps, plans for the future. You should have a red flag checklist handy while doing the search. Ask as many people as you want before considering investing into new coins. If you can't get much info but still want to invest you can do so, if the coin is performing for the first few weeks which should always be the case since this people will really show you how good their coin is, do not be greedy just double your money, withdraw your capital plus a little profit and leave others behind to make some money in case it still performs, the key is you have taken back your capital and a little profit, which is a win-win situation for you, what ever happens to that coin in the future you are safe.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do i buy Crypto with Paypal? on: January 16, 2018, 03:27:41 AM
You can use Xapo or Coinbase. Or any wallet which offers credit card payments. Since paypal can be linked directly to your credit card. You can always search google and there will be a huge list of site accepting paypal payments. Also check the site if it is available in your country some services restricts other countries in buying coins from them.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It was bitcoin 2017. It will be ethereum 2018. on: January 15, 2018, 08:12:21 AM
i would say it is possible. but still ethereum will not beat bitcoin price this 2018. it might pump a bit but i would say the farthest ether might reach is around $10k this 2018. umlike bitcoin. BTC has been there for many years now and widely accepted anywhere in the world, as for ETH it is still on infancy stages even our own widely know and used wallet in our country does not support yet Ethereum, so maybe by time that ethereum will be highly accessible i would say it would make much attention resulting in high demand on the investors, high demand with little supply will surely make it’s prices skyrocket..
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I found a IOTA faucet on: January 15, 2018, 12:40:03 AM
Does anyone actually do faucets?

i do faucets in my free time.. it is a little extra income just by solving captcha, those little bits and pieces can also be beneficial if you hold on to it then prices suddenly sky rockets. just like in my experience with btc, i remeber before i was doing faucets like for 1k sat per claim, i just hold on to my coins and those coins that i was able to hold on net worth around $5k when the price of bit coin started to go up. so no one knows this coins might also compete with btc in terms of prices.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What reply did you get when you were trying to get someone involved in Cryptos? on: January 14, 2018, 10:41:52 AM
when i first introduced it to my friends they were very skeptical and most of them are saying it is a big scam, it was also aired in our national telivision that it is scam to make it more worse. no one believe me at first but as soon as i was able buy new expensive things they begin to ask how i did it, now almost anyone i know are into cryptocurrencies.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Phyiscal or online wallet? on: January 14, 2018, 10:25:07 AM
i would suggest get a physical wallet. as long as you don’t forget your pass key your fine. it is yet the most secured wallet till date. online wallets are easily hacked especially if hacker can have access to your email. For online wallets i suggest you enable 2FA always for extra added security.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: January 14, 2018, 01:43:12 AM
you can practically start at any amount you want, there is no minimum or maximum amount in buying altcoins, unlike the traditional trading wherein there are boardlots you need to meet before you can buy shares. My advise is if you are a begginer and just would like to test or try buying some altcoins start with an amount that you are comfortable loosing. i am not saying that you will loose your money when you buy altcoins but buying coins is a high risk especially that the market is highly volatile, it can make you or break you. invest in small amounts until you get the feel and confidence. Once you are confident enough now you can invest big but be sure to stay on budget, avoid making debts just to invest i would recommend to us your hard earned money in investing. You should also start researching first historical data of the coin you want to invest in if it has some potential to earn you money, researching before buying will go a long way.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: January 14, 2018, 01:35:11 AM
i would say bounty will earn you more than airdrops. if you go for bounties you will be earning a fixed amount depending on what was agreed upon which i think is better at least you have somthing to look forward to. Airdrops in the other hand is more like a gamble, you can earn more or maybe less depends on the situation. plus there is also the factor of how much is the token worth, or will it have any value when you sell it.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Money on: January 14, 2018, 01:31:11 AM
i am positive that someday cryptocurrency will be the future of our money system. there will be no paper money instead all transactions will be digital. our world is evolving towards the digital age so as our money system. there will come a time that our debit cards / atm cards will all be imbedded in our thumb prints or maybe to make more secure our DNA can also be used as an added security, but no doubt our future money will be this cryptocurrencies which will be regulated by the government for proper payment of taxes.

Maybe so, but only in the very distant future, not so soon as you expect.
Paper money will not disappear anywhere and will always be.

yes it should take some time to get away with paper money. but we are all heading towards the future so there is really a possiblity that our money will just be bits stored in servers. If we try to go deep in the past centuries people do not use paper money to buy goods they were trading goods, then it evolved that gold and silver was used to buy goods, until it evolved to the creation of coins and paper money so it is not impossible that our money now can also evolved in the distant future to be just some bits / bytes stored in servers.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my airdropped tokens quickly or hold on to them? on: January 14, 2018, 01:20:40 AM
i should say hold on to them until it reaches a decent value. The reason for this are those tokens will try their best to gain market trust as well as be successful token, so somewhere this token might get some decent value if you hold on to them for a while, and decide when to sell it once you think you got a decent value of this tokens. but on the other hand if you are skeptical of the tokens you are holding the. you can sell it right away and get away with a small profit. you must also try to do some research on this tokens and reach their whitepapers and roadmaps in that way you can tell if a token has a potential to perform well in the market.

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: January 13, 2018, 03:00:20 PM
anything is possible these days..if your wallet is online there is a big chance it can be hacked. if you have more than enough money it is advisable to invest on hard wallets or offline wallets. as long as you dont loose your private keys then you are safe with your coins.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 13, 2018, 02:54:09 PM
a country can do whatever they wish to do..if they want to ban bitcoins they can actually do it. but it does not necessarily mean people can’t continue using bitcoins. it might be illegal in your country but there is always vpn so you still have access to your wallets. china has done it, however chinese are still mining coins despite their country banning btc.. people will always make ways even if it is illegal as long as you can make money out of it.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: January 13, 2018, 07:30:13 AM
i am using monerominer and minergate. over the years i have collected several decent android phones and converted them into mobile mining. in my experience.. phones can mine but will require enough patience, as it takes a lot of time to mine 1 coin. however i am not taking a way the possibility that phones can faster mine in the future. maybe future phones will release selling points on their phones that i can be use for mining producing this number of hashes. well phones makers are not yet looking to that perspective as of today. but future of mobile device might include this. just like motherboards of the past they never think it can be used for mining but today a lot of motherboard companies are creating motherboards which is used for mining. so i am not taking the possibility of phone mining in our futur device.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you sell your altcoins ? on: January 13, 2018, 03:05:19 AM
yes you can always sell those altcoins through trading..if you dont have trust on those coins you can check trading platforms and trade it with bitcoins..you might not need those coins but for some they invest on those hoping it will pump in the future. or you can just hold on to it until prices for the coins you have will pump. everything is possible since coins are highly volatile it can change its value anytime.
