The team is fantastic! I trust these guys)
WARNING be aware there's some Snapshot Recovery Tool circulating that allows you to watch your ballance at least it claims to do that.

It is of course wanting your online banking credentials   they keys to your frontdoor   your firstborn   your seed to accomplish that, in all honesty and glory.
That's probably the dumbest think to do since handing over your bitcoin private keys to some anonymous stranger.
The firstborn could be negotiable.
No, this seems to be even dumber than that, by the look of it.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: October 25, 2017, 05:06:40 PM
@Dominik Schiener

A simple suggestion. Since everybody hates the wallet you have built maybe you should add one feature.
Storing how many addresses had been used so far inside a JSON file. On each situation of finding the wallet empty again after entering the seed start regenerating exactly that many addresses.
Or simply generate a dozen as a fixed number. And if the last one of that dozen still carries IOTA, generating the next dozen and looking again at the last address. And so on. And add a menu item for this.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Gold hard fork has happened on: October 24, 2017, 05:37:34 PM
not it has not yet happened. the hard fork is apparently scheduled to happen on November 1. what is already over is the block that they used as their reference for distributing the BTG coins.

you can already see what the bitcoin price is!
and you can also see the BTG price which is very different in different exchanges. i have not checked bitfinex yet but in yobit it was 0.08BTC=456$
Yes and earlier today yobit started with 600usd/btg.then its down to 400usd right now.
But yobit is locked for 2 days now.
And personally i donot trust them eaither.
Yobit is as trustworthy as medieval alchemist trying to fork gold from ordinary lead.

Mid November that bitcoin cash fork has to fork again, for adapting difficulty adjustment algorithm. Maybe we will see this Gold forking too.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold more Bitcoin or Buy Altcoin in the red zone on: October 21, 2017, 01:19:43 PM
I probably will go for altcoins now but first I have to check which altcoins dropped more lately. Any suggestions for which coin to go?
Todays biggest looser has been everything, without bitcoin even making another leg up. That urge to dump alts because bitcoin mooning seems to loose momentum.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: October 21, 2017, 10:23:31 AM
I decided to check on my IOTA and the balance was 0. I found that I'm supposed to set "min weight magnitude" to 14 and keep generating new addresses until my balance shows up. I've generated and attached 30 addresses so far. Still 0 balance. Is this normal? How long is this supposed to take?
Your case seems to be different. You need the next wallet release to claim your coins. That happened to dozens of people and explains the currently bad condition of Bitfinex charts.
I know watching those evil glowing zero number can make one freak out. Patience, just patience *sighs*
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: October 21, 2017, 12:25:49 AM
Is there any truth to this? I found it on a pennystock bb

"Infrax Systems to reboot its IoT technology for smart grid, smart homes and smart cities using IOTA's proprietary blockchain technology to reshape the IoT landscape... InfraxFacebook"

Do you have a link? What could this implicate?
I am bumping against that proprietary adjective. That's not appropriate for open sourced technology. Nor even blockchain, might have to add.
If that Infrax Whatever is only known from "a pennystock bb" this implicates nuthin.
The heavy weights are counting. Bosh. VW. Telekom. Fujitsu.
Compare that with some "ooooh we are on Azure" pump.
108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 16, 2017, 12:06:10 PM
So it looks like $5426 was our low, we're moving up to ATH now hopefully  Smiley

or there is still a chance for relatively cheap coins soon:

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSDT/vH8p4FLI-Bitcoin-Market-Overview/
So $5000 to be exspected? $4500 if things turn worser?
Looking at charts alone is not enough. The hashrate distribution between the Cash fork and Bitcoin would tell more about price discovery. I am worried that miners exercise this switching of their gear since end of august on a daily course.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: October 16, 2017, 11:55:23 AM
The question for me is how much more stupid money will switch into BTC because of the forks. At least after the forks IOTA will become big i guess.
Bitcoin will never stop forking. They found a new toy.

....in der nächsten zeit wohl gar nicht.... Undecided

Double check your passphrase !
If you registred a second passphrase, use it instead of the first one.
Beware of the blank space or hidden char.
Just type it and not copy past it !
Why not pasting? Actually there should be a mode for small wallets where the longer phrase is stored on disk, encrypted by a shorter password.
112  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 22, 2017, 12:30:23 PM

Also stehen in China Wahlen am 18.

113  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 22, 2017, 11:03:00 AM

114  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 21, 2017, 10:37:23 PM
Dann bannt China halt VPN.

115  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 15, 2017, 10:47:01 AM
More FUD:

https://www.yicaiglobal.com/news/all-cryptocurrency-trading-platforms-china-shall-be-closed-source-says

116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the floor of this drop? on: September 15, 2017, 01:07:02 AM
I would've thought mid 3000s, but I think people saw the price dropping and the China news, and all started selling. It's just mayhem right now.

But now, more than ever, is an exceptional time to buy. Bitcoin is almost half it used to be, and people will always find ways around China's restrictions.

BTCChina, Huobi & Bitkan should be moving into one of these special administrative regions like Macau or Hong Kong. Wolong in Sichuan province, a minor possibility. Technically those are in China, but a capitalist economy isn't frowned upon over there.
The saying goes "One country, two systems".
117  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 14, 2017, 10:03:41 PM

Mitternacht. Der Tag ist gelaufen.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: September 09, 2017, 01:16:44 AM
Wow, a patched vulnerability created this much sell off? Are people just not reading that its no longer vulnerable? Its bolded in the article. I don't even hold any iOTA and Im now mad that I don't have any free fiat to buy at this price.
Probably because these scientists proclaimed a single IOTA transaction weighting above 10kb in size.
Plain untruth.
But still they claimed to know each and every detail about the Tangle ?!!
And their "attack" never did worked, at all.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: September 06, 2017, 07:46:29 AM
WTF Lisk has to Iota? Lisk has no perspective at all, look at competition in that niche, wake up.

Very interesting Lisk versus IOTA thread Cheesy

Maybe Ethereum has won the smart contracts ralley.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: August 28, 2017, 10:32:21 AM
Ok I am really wondering how high this ride will take us? Any guesses here? Are we going to hit 10 dollars for now?

Probably we can hit $10 followed by a flash crash, I don't see any development that Lisk can hold at the current price especially when bitcoin price is starting to go up again.

Percentage of Total Market Capitalization (Dominance) currently 45%
Source: https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/

Astonishing, on an All Time High, isn't it?
Should really start to go up again.
