101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: January 24, 2019, 06:37:04 AM
I don't really know why people are still interested in that boring rematch. Pacquiao's last fight just showed how he slowed down and he's not that a beast anymore and he's turning like Mayweather who just wait and wait before he punches. Just give this up guys so you won't complain that are again rob with a show that's not really worth your money.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: January 24, 2019, 06:32:54 AM
Only the owner of that casino wins in the end. I think the people who gamble often in this places are just desperate people or just taking chances to win the jackpot. I would suggest lottery than a casino because it's much fair than those machines that we can't be sure that it's not rigged at all.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: January 24, 2019, 06:28:08 AM
Ok! I was actually trying to get reasons why people get addicted to gambling which we all know is more self inflicted. However, I came up with this theory for someone who may actually want to gamble and then would not want to get addicted based on trying to fix their mentality about it and I would like to seek your opinion on what you think about it, if it can actually end up working for any gambler or not.

The theory is;
If you want to gamble, see it more like you are paying the casino or gambling platform to have some fun (just like you do to go watch some movies in cinema), which if you are paying for anything, you are not meant to expect it back. The good thing however is that, you can actually end up being paid more for having that fun if you get lucky, but the chances of seeing that happen is pretty slim. In that light, if you cannot actually live with doing what I said above, then you should not be gambling at all.

Does this sound like a mentality that can help anyone understand what they are in for if they indeed want to gamble or something even those who are tending towards addiction can set their mind to so as not to get into that deep gambling hole that is hard to come out from?

It would work if you only lose a very small amount but in the long run, you will realize that your losses are getting when you add it all up and that is going to drag you in having a gambling addiction.  And casino is not the best place to have fun because there's a lot out there that is much better that that.
104  Economy / Marketplace / Re: For god's sake, stop lestening to mainstream Media and wake up people... !! on: January 24, 2019, 06:22:29 AM
That is because there are a lot of people are lazy to make research first before they believe on things that are released in the mainstream. They only depends like it only speaks the truth but they are just paid to magnify small things and make a devastating impact just like on btc.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 23, 2019, 03:53:47 AM
It's a complete waste of money and time but base on my observation when I visited a casino, for the rich people, that is how they kill time in my honest opinion. They must have a lot of money that their only past time is gambling. They must have done all the things that life can offer. So for me gambling is really a waste but for them it is the opposite.
106  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Crypto VS Classic marketplaces. Possibilities and Prospects on: January 23, 2019, 03:48:37 AM
With the increased interest in cryptocurrencies, there are growing possibilities of their application, namely payment of bills, short and long-term investments, purchase of goods / services, etc. To me, the last one is most rational above all.
So how do feel about that guys? Are phrases like “an Iphone for X BTC” are gonna become commonplace? Are there any prospects?

I don't think Iphone will do that. But for me, we should target large payments that are most used in a country. For example in China, Alipay and Wechat Pay dominates there. Imagine if they include btc there and a discount to customers who pay in btc then we can expect the price to shoot up to $50k.
107  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: January 23, 2019, 03:37:32 AM
I'll bet it on ethereum. After seeing it bouncing back nearly as doubled from $80, I can clearly see that it's the only altcoin that are still useful in this bear market. People are still wanting to get in ICOs and that it the huge advantage of buying eth.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptobanks Future? on: January 23, 2019, 03:31:34 AM
Yes, I highly believe it will happen. I remember watching a show where the head of the banks interviews a guy that suggests digital transaction. The bosses did not like that idea and they feel it's like a threat to banks but now look at where we are now. Time knows only when.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: January 21, 2019, 10:00:18 AM
Have you been able to resist the addiction and not let gambling consume you?

Have you been able to control the urge to place that bet, spin that wheel or roll
that dice? For you to be able to go a length of time away from the adrenaline.

Would be interested to hear how people can control this.

The most hard to fight urge is after you lost. It will last a day or two in your mind and your body that must be able to recover what you have lost and win back at the same time. I don't know if it's just my ego or it's really the natural effect of losing in a gamble most importantly when you do it online.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: FRUSTRATED AT THE MARKET. on: January 21, 2019, 09:55:36 AM
Me too and I have experiencing this till the second quarter of 2018. I think this bear market will continue much longer unless we make an agreement to countries that bans us so that they will accept crypto. And I think we should get rid those 100% anonymous coins because what gives us bad image to others.
111  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: January 21, 2019, 09:47:03 AM
i smell coinsmarktes exit scam they make wait and wait till they vaniched  we need something officiel we need something congreet

Of course they will. They were operating so smoothly when everything was still on the right track. If they were vulnerable to hacks then it should have happened when btc was still in $6k or above. But I think the management has a change of mind and want to get out of the game with a lot of money than wait a bit more with no returns.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 21, 2019, 09:38:46 AM
The fight is so boring and the decision was kind of expected. I really never  thought that Broner was as just the same as Mayweather who runs and hugs within the entire fight. Please don't support Pacquiao - Mayweather 2 because it will also be boring and consider that Manny is much cautious that ever.

114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: January 16, 2019, 07:59:52 AM
I've seen in many news that a lot of online casino games has no license to operate so if I were you I will avoid them. It's also hard to trust when you are betting a lot of money then only the computer decides what's going to be chosen. I don't see the game very fair at all.
115  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit on: January 16, 2019, 07:53:48 AM
Honestly most people that were already a Hero or Legendary member like the merit system because it makes it difficult for new users to rank up to their level so they feel more special to be in an exclusive club.  Of course not everyone is like this but it is sort of a screw you I got mine mentality that we see in the world today.

I agree and rewarding opportunites now only circles around them. Signature campaigns that pays in btc only considers legendary and hero member nowadays so those low ranks like us has no chance to get in. I'm also wondering how much they get whenever they accept ICO projects today just to post it an ANN or in Bounties.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the main problem with the crypto market at the moment? on: January 16, 2019, 07:46:03 AM
Regulations, bans and hack incidents. Regulations make it hard for our fellow traders who are obliged to pay a huge percentage of taxes from their profits. Bans from other countries slows the spread if info about btc in many countries. And finally, the hacks that makes crypto untrustworthy and unreliable by investors.
117  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1 Billion Dollar’s Worth of Cryptocurrency Stolen in 2018 on: January 16, 2019, 07:40:12 AM
I hope that $1 Billion is enough to teach those stubborn investors and traders that are reminded many times not to put their  coins on exchanges. And now Cryptopia is another one to be added and a that's a very bad opening for crypto this year.
118  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you think that crypto exchanges are dead? on: January 15, 2019, 06:50:35 AM
Small crypto exchanges are dead by now so don't you guys support any upcoming small exchanges that are unheard of. Those Huge and semi-exchanges are still there and they are tested by difficult times like Cryptopia, Hitbtc, Bitfinex and Binance. As long as bitcoin and other altcoins are there, these exchanges will live continuously.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whales and their influence on: January 15, 2019, 06:45:33 AM
Friends, what do you think about the whales of the crypto market, it’s no secret that the main holders influence the situation sometimes very strongly, maybe I don’t understand something, so I wanted to ask you: isn't it time to support crypto and do something? Who can benefit from a catastrophic market decline? And of course, how do you think who or what can affect the current situation?

We are already supporting crypto in the past years until now. The drastic decline is a good opportunity for anyone who want to accumulate a lot of cheap altcoins that are in the top in the coinmarketcap. Whales will always be whales but I know that even them cannot control the negative side of the market condition.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: January 15, 2019, 06:38:43 AM
Maybe 90% of them. Because a lot of them has promised this and that and it sounded that their projects is one of a kind when they advertise but the product is just a complete trash. We don't need promising projects but those that have real working products.
