101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont sell off because of the period on: April 29, 2020, 10:21:46 PM
Holding altcoins that turns out to be a shitcoin once in the market are the reasons why people sell it off as soon as they get the chance to do so and it's understansable. During the past years, many projects have become a waste of time but of course not eth, xrp, and other altcoins that stayed in the market (I'm talking about the new ones tho). It is so promising that you'll get big amount of money but most of the time its the opposite that happens so I think that's the reason why people switch to bitcoin. Bitcoin has been the first one to pump in the market and it gives a good profit very well during its pump, but yeah, if you don't buy it during it's dip, you'll get very little amount of profit.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: How can the corona virus end Faster and economy reopen on: April 29, 2020, 10:09:16 PM
There are many cases of people being asymptomatic with covid19. They don't know that they already have the virus yet they are still roaming around despite of enhanced community quarantine. Also, mass testing hasn't been done to all people so there's always a possibility to get more positive cases everyday once symptoms of those asymptomatic persons showed up together with those people they have infected.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banking system on: April 29, 2020, 04:56:42 PM
Banks do know now the advantage of bitcoin because of the blockchain technology it uses. Sooner or later, these banks will surely adjust and adopt this kind of technology but that doesn't mean that bitcoin will destroy the whole banking system itself. Traditional currencies like fiat will also be there, people will still use those currencies as well as cryptos cause that will be there best option to do. If you can't destroy something, why don't you just ride along with it and use it for your own benefit as well, right?
104  Economy / Economics / Re: The positive impact ~ on: April 29, 2020, 03:14:26 PM
For me, the best positive impact that ever happened because of this covid19 pandemic is the restoration of our environment. For the past years, pollution is obviously destroying mother nature and inspite of many environmental laws being implemented, it can be seen that pollution is really out of control and now, this pandemic seems to be a way for Mother nature to heal on its own. We can't do it on our own that's why this happened.

On the other hand, it is pretty hard to learn lessons from classes being done online, I'm saying this based on my experience. I'm an engineering student and it's pretty hard for me to ask questions about solving problems and processes online, although our teachers give their time and best efforts just to answer those questions, it is still very hard for us students. I still prefer face to face classes tho.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis after the epidemic on: April 28, 2020, 11:05:35 PM
There are so many things to be done right after this pandemic, well, actually even now that we are already facing this crisis. Many governments most especially those in the third world countries are struggling to provide foods and necessities for their starving people that's why they decided to print more money and are borrowing money from other banks and countries. There's nothing else they can do.

I think it will take us some time to recover from this crisis, the exact time, no one knows, but it will be for sure, this pandemic will leave us mark and lessons - to be more aware of our environment, to consider health as wealth, to learn how to save money for times like this and many more.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Body Of Control? on: April 28, 2020, 02:39:46 PM
I do believe that the government will not allow that, but if ever bitcoin is the only currency to be used in the world, then there wil be freedom to all people and also a very big problem for banks and governments. Like stated by the OP, the banks and government will lose track and control to governments assets as well as to people. Assets can't really be calculated and there will be less recorded money and assets to be calculated for taxes. Even if government put taxes to each and every bitcoin owned by someone, there would be no available proof and record that such person only owns such kind of asset.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Technology stop Election Malpractice? on: April 23, 2020, 11:46:49 PM
The blockchain itself is a powerful technology, and is a complicated one. Although, it is simply a record of transactions, using it as a tool for election will be complicated. People will need ID in order to vote, take note that there are millions of people in each country. These IDs can also be manipulated by greedy politicians that wants to be in a position. These greedy politicians will do everything they can just to be in the position, like no matter it takes.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 23, 2020, 10:52:54 PM
It is China from where the virus started and the first country to recover from it. Now that the virus spreads all over the world and it seems that the government of each country are experiencing chaos and are not firm with their decisions whether to release the lockdown for their economy to recover and grow or to wait until the virus is fully controlled, here's China taking advantage on making its economy grow even more. They even have the guts to make research facilities in the West Philippine Sea. Well, they are really something. Their reputation are going down from their products, to this virus, and everything they do to make their economy grow. They may lead the economy for now, but as soom as America and Europe recovers, it will surely come back to normal where US leads the global economy.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: April 23, 2020, 08:47:27 AM
The charge to pay an exchange market most especially those that are reputable ones are somehow expensive that  the developer itself can't afford or simply does not want to pay. The money from the bounty campaign may not be enough for the project to be listed in such exchange. Another factor is that the project itselfis not worthy to listed in an exchange. Many projects are just a waste of time and dead token listed in an exchange is just a trash. It should not be there in the first place.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: April 23, 2020, 12:10:06 AM
I prefer to post this here on this section because this is where it actually originates from. This is where the bounty scammers come to catch their "prey"- hunters.

Therefore, I have observed that since 2018, after the 2017 crypto bull , almost all bounty have been failing. After months of running bounty, some that manage to get to the exchange are dead on arrival with less than a dollar worth of 20,000 unit (or more unit) of shit distribution to hunters.

Consequently , with my little time here and as far as I have noticed, their are certain signs that seem like a no go area if we really want to participate in a fairly good bounty that we can also benefit from our labour, time and data.

These signs for me are :
1. When the thread is filled with grammatical and typographical errors.

2. When the task in the different or any of the allocated bounties are not defined. For example, how many facebook shares / posts are not defined and then you are left with asking from the shit BM. This is definitely and certainly a red light.

3. When the task is limitless. For example, no limit to shares/post.

4. When the task is too much. For example, 10 shares  Grin

5. When the requirements to get your reward is complicated. For example, you can be asked to sign up and provide referral number or code  Grin

6. When the process for reward isn't proper. For example, you notice you will be asked to watch a video to know how to provide wallet address or downlines  Shocked Roll Eyes Grin

7. When spreadsheet isn't updated weekly.... Just run  Grin

8. When weekly dates are not seen either on the thread or spreadsheet.

9. When you see only week 1 , week 2, week 3 etc just on spreadsheet without date.

10. When complaints on telegram isn't responded to promptly and you are not satisfied when you get response.

11. You don't need to continue if you notice you have been deleted from telegram and you know you have been asking legitimate questions to understand things not clear to you about the bounty.... Run run fast  Grin

12. When it is not handled by a reputable account as BM.

13. When there is no ANN at the beginning or it is provided later in the bounty maybe because someone is consistently requesting for it.

These are some signs I can remember and I know they are negative signs for you not to be paid after you do your part most times.

*** These signs are ; apart from whitepaper typographical mistakes and plagiarism  Grin Grin Grin

If we go with these signs and not sign up with a bounty you suspect could be scam, then the bounty will have less participants and with time, we can clear these scamming bounties out from this forum.

Each one tell all. You don't need to join suspected scam bounty.

I hope this thread will help bounty hunters.

Thank you for these info. I joined a lot of bounty campaigns that appeares to be a scam. To be honest, I don't really like reading much about a bounty, what I do is I look for bountu that has many senior and legendary participants before that's why I always ended up participating a scam bounties. But that was before, I learned. As much as possible, I do my own research. And now, I'll also depend to this info. Thanks OP!
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the ideal currency of the future? on: April 22, 2020, 11:59:30 PM
I believe that there are many criteria to consider a currency an ideal currency. Every people have their own criteria for it. Well, there are different pros and cons of each currency and way of transaction available in this world. Only a person can say if such currency is ideal for him/her or can say that "this currency is better than this". But in general, I don't see any ideal currency for now.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: April 22, 2020, 11:46:32 PM
For me, I'll just keep saving money and things that are really important for survival. The crisis has already started and many people are already experiencing difficulty and hardship caused by this pandemic. It will take some time before everything goes back to normal especially that the cure and vaccine to kill this virus has not yet invented.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: April 22, 2020, 03:02:01 PM
Well, there are many options out there that are available to make payment and receiving transactions for whatever reason we have. There are traditional way like banking system and using cards and there are newer and more advance ways like using cryptos and e-wallets out there. But, I don't really see the point why do we have to compare such systems because we all know that all people can make their own decisions in life, most especially when it comes to their money. There are people who prefer to use banks other than these new technology that some can't really understand. But some also wants to embrace these new techs. I don't see any problem with that tho.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is your expectation still high on the halving on: April 20, 2020, 03:01:49 PM
We have a lot of expectations in the halving in fact our expectations are very high before this pandemic especially those new in the market and the first time to experience halving, now is your expectation still high in the coming halving even if we are in the middle of a pandemic.

I do agree, many people were expecting too much on the upcoming halving before everything that's happening right now happened. Many many investors came to the market before because they expect good ROI during the halving season, but with everything that's happening caused by this pandemic, I can say that it won't be the same like the past years of halving season. Many people are on the brink of deaths, many are starving, many lost their jobs and some are already using up their savings just to buy foods and necessities for everyday use. Investing in the market will be a lot harder than the normal days back then. But still, there's so many things that may happen before the halving happens. Let's just pray and hope that everything will fall back to place the way it is before. Hope this pandemic stops so we can all enjoy the halving season.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT BITCOIN on: April 20, 2020, 02:47:15 PM
Bitcoin has been used for so many scams and ponzi schemes because of its promising returns in the future and yes, many people are blinded by this that's why they tend to give everything they have just to make money in the easiest way they can. What they do not know is that many people are not trustworthy. Glad that we have such kind person like the OP that is willing to educate newbies in cryptos. Hope you continue to help informing other people about the truth in bitcoin. And may Godbless you more OP.  Smiley
116  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 17, 2020, 12:05:26 AM
I don't think this second wave of coronavirus in China will be a problem. Medical experts, doctors and nurses, did everything they can during the first coronavirus before, I'm sure they know how to handle such situations again. And another thing, the government of China is very tight with their lockdown. This will not affect their economy because the government won't let it.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Should be subsubject in Economy on: April 16, 2020, 11:59:39 PM
In this time of Crypto Revolution there are some issues supposed to be studied and in my Opinion cryptocurrency supposed to be subsubject when teaching economy this will add many benefits in this revolution. As it will exploit the advantage and threat to the economy
It's not a bad idea but I think it can't be easily done. At first, cryptocurrencies should be allowed in that country that will offer sucj subject in their universities. If it can't be use in such country, having knowledge about it will be a waste. Second thing is, if it is to be taught in schools, there should be someone that really knows the market, every cryptos pros, cons, and usage. Such information should be detailed well and should be reliable. Teachers have to be very familiar with it.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NOTHING IS ABOVE BITCOIN on: April 16, 2020, 11:53:11 PM
Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream and HashCash, has said: "Nothing is above Bitcoin, no Central Bank Digital Currency, no stable coins."

He continued that: "I think that blockchains are more about permissionless, uncensorable usage and free market money. I think while it is possible and useful for some use cases, like crypto trading, to have stable coins, they inherently fall short of Bitcoin as they have custody risk, and if there is a central bank underwriting also traditional establishment interests reflected in the operation which may look unattractive to users."

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/exclusive-nothing-is-above-bitcoin-no-cbdc-no-stablecoins-says-blockstream-ceo-adam-back

It is really the decentralization and market dependent cryptocurrency is the thing that makes bitcoin to be the king in the market. Many people prefer to use it because it offers better way of transactions unlike those currencies that involves third party. As of now nothing can beat bitcoin and I think it will go that way for a very long time.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 15, 2020, 11:56:14 PM
Some are quite excited about the upcoming halving because of the positive impact it may cause to the market, but for me, I don't wanna expect too much from it. Our world is currently experiencing crisis, many people are starving and some investors are/may be struggling with this situation. No one knows when will the vaccine will be made. But still, even if vaccine is to be made as soon as possible, many people will still focus their attention on how to come back to normal days where they have extra money to be used for investing.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin is made for times like these why is everyone selling at a time like.. on: April 15, 2020, 11:45:31 PM
I don't think bitcoin was made for times like this. Bitcoin was made as an alternative to fiat currencies, although it is considered as a store of value by many. I think that is the reason why people sold their bitcoins, it is because they are afraid that bitcoin will crash during the time of this pandemic. Another thing is that, some people don't have other options but to do so in order to buy necessities for times like this.
