101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: December 06, 2017, 09:55:26 PM
In our country, one of the greatest problem that we are currently facing is poverty. It is appalling to know that a lot of people still have nothing to eat, no home or shelter to go to and are not giving the right opportunity because they have no money.
102  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: December 06, 2017, 09:52:17 PM
Yes, definitely, especially if you can afford. Having a college degree increases you knowledge, field of expertise and evetually your chances of landing your ultimate dream job. Most companies still acknowledge and care about your academic credentials.
103  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people are unhappy? on: December 06, 2017, 09:45:39 PM
Most people are unhappy because they choose to place their happiness on temporary things. Hence, when that thing is gone, then also goes their happiness. As what C.S. Lewis once said, "Do not place your happiness on something that you might lose".
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Life with out money ? on: December 05, 2017, 08:52:49 PM
I'm okay living the old fashioned way without money. As long as everything I need could be found within my environment even if it requires me to do things manually like fishing, farming and hunting in order to find food. We have become so lazy nowadays because everything is within our reach.
105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: November 29, 2017, 11:10:05 PM
Because of the current technology, we are able to talk to people even though they are miles away. But it is sometimes ironic that we are able to do just that but we find it difficult to speak to our families and neighbors.
106  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the Most Peaceful Countries? on: November 29, 2017, 11:05:42 PM
I actually don't have an idea though I think that the country with most law abiding citizens is the most peaceful country. I strongly agree that when people follow the rules and guidelines of their government, then there would be no conflict.
107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: November 29, 2017, 11:02:56 PM
I also support the current management as it really is evident that they want to solve the problem about illegal drugs that's been one of our country's biggest problem for the past years. I don't mind if they can't total eradicate it but the mere fact that there has been improvements in our society, I think that is pretty impressive.
108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: November 29, 2017, 10:55:34 PM
I personally don't drink alcoholic drinks but I believe that there might be some nutritional and health benefits that you can get from it if consumed in right amounts. However, anything not taken in moderation could harm us.
109  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: November 29, 2017, 10:52:07 PM
I don't believe in evolution. However , adaptation in my opinion, is somewhat true. I know that certain plants might've developed ways of warding off potential predator. But the thought that we came from monkeys is something I am not convinced.
110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population on: November 29, 2017, 10:48:23 PM
If people would only learn to be more responsible especially the parents then they could really contribute to solve the problem about overpopulation.
111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: purpose of life on: November 29, 2017, 10:41:19 PM
The purpose of life is to develop our character, to know our Creator and to fellowship with other people. We should learn how to love others and help those who are in need and fight for those who are oppressed and save them from harm.
112  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Mind Reading Possible? on: November 29, 2017, 10:06:13 PM
I don't think so. However, it is possible to somewhat predict other's actions or reactions especially if you know that person very well. Also, reading other people's mind without their consent is against their right for privacy.
113  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: November 26, 2017, 04:09:15 PM
Global warming is very real. As real as the scorching heat of the sun. As real as the rain and flood during storms. As real as the lives who were lost on calamities and disasters. It is true, let's open our eyes and do our best before it is too late.
114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the Most Peaceful Countries? on: November 26, 2017, 04:06:40 PM
I think that population could also somewhat affect the peace and order in a country. It is possoble that the lesser the population, the easier it is to monitor and implement rules thus attaining peace and order at a shorter time compared to those countries who have much population.
115  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is God male or female? on: November 26, 2017, 04:03:29 PM
God is a spirit so doesn't need a gender. However, in the Bible, it is heavily stated that God is a Good Father and I believe that in Jewish context, it is the man that is considered as the head and leader of the family. What is important though is that you have a relationship with God and that you speak to Him.

117  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: November 23, 2017, 08:01:48 PM
Our country's current biggest problem is poverty. A lot of people are still hungry, sick and are in need and sadly, there might still be people suffering and dying because of poor health condition without any proper medication. It is really heart breaking to know that while others are squandering their wealth, there are people who are in need and are helpless.
118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would society be without the internet? on: November 16, 2017, 03:34:41 AM
Without the internet, we are bound to do things the old fashioned way. We will get information from books, get news from newspaper, radio and tv, and communicate to each other via snail mail or sms. It would be less convenient for us but there would also be advantages of course.
119  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: November 02, 2017, 06:17:34 AM
Be hopeful at all times. While it is true that not all things are controlled by us, in fact there's a lot of inevitable things in life. But when we hope, it always starts with a positive perspective towards something and its outcome. Our attitude determines how we see things.
120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will Religions die? on: November 01, 2017, 09:10:13 PM
As ling as there is a civilization, there will always be religion. For you to abolist a religion, you would also have to abolish culture and tradition as most are connected and even originated to religious festivals. It is not religion that makes it a risk but the people who are part of that religion especially the extremists or the backsliders.
