101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check out Bitgrenade! LTC, GLD, MNC on: May 20, 2013, 09:02:52 PM
Hey whoever made this game could you please add more grenades per coin?  At least 10+ please, even more if you feel like it Smiley  And please also add more coins like YAC and such.

You'll make a lot more money and get much more people playing, as there will be much more chances for everyone to jump in.  Also people get impatient when it comes to waiting around 5-10 minutes for payment confirmations to go through so they just leave, when instead they could just be playing more of your games.

I know you're working on it as you can, it's coming up quickly, good job your game is better than any of those other games that mostly have bad odds where as bitgrenade has great odds.  It's actually pretty brilliant as you win good money, but so do most of the people that play.  Enough to go around for everyone.  Many thanks  Cool

Why can't I solo mine?  I have all the settings right in the conf file & cgminer files and I have the port forwarded.  It says pool 0 credientials invalid.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin - A Litecoin Based Currency With a More Favorable Block Reward on: May 18, 2013, 11:13:42 AM
Agreed all Cheesy & it definitely needs a superb 10/10 eye catching logo, that's extremely important.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin - A Litecoin Based Currency With a More Favorable Block Reward on: May 17, 2013, 11:44:08 PM
^Agreed guys, I'm really glad to see there are more people out here thinking this as well. Rack up these coins and lets boost the market value. Everyone that is currently selling should raise their sale prices by a significant amount. If everyone that is currently selling all raise their prices then anybody that wants to buy will have no choice but to pay that rate, and after a few sales that much higher price will then be the going rate. The reason people are selling so low is because they are comparing this coin to other crap coins of the past, and using that as common ground. All we have to do is change the common ground, make people more familiarized with this coin being more expensive. Combine that with spreading the word about this coin and positivity and this coin will shoot up.

To really make it work, everyone that is selling needs to get into a group chat session or private thread and all agree on what price to start at, and then when competing for sales a deal is made that one never goes below a certain value.  Once everyone hits that value, then you all raise your prices back up and start over again.  That how it works. All other people that get into the mix from then on will just see the higher price and to them that will just be the going rate (as it actually would be), nobody will even think twice to try and sell for .0003 or the likes Shocked.  The value of the coin is all up to us, it's what we make it.  Selling for such low is devastating to the coin.

Goldcoin isn't like other coins where one wants to pump and dump and sell for ridiculously low prices. This coin has Paramount potential. All of you that mine has the ability to get a large amount of shares compared to what you're used to with other coins. Which of course you're obviously already aware. Cheesy So lets boost the price and make them worth mega bucks. It is in all of our best interests.   Cool

I think the large payouts are great.  It makes mining much more fun and interesting.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YAC - The best altcoin up 'til now on: May 17, 2013, 05:41:39 PM
We definitely need to promote this coin.  Since it's the only coin right now that gets fast hashes with only a cpu, when it makes one big news or even blog story, the price will shoot up.  It's up to us to make that happen.  Hold your shares, or even better sell your shares but everyone significantly raise your selling prices.  Lets make this puppy rise.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin - A Litecoin Based Currency With a More Favorable Block Reward on: May 17, 2013, 03:39:09 PM
has someone tested http://www.bitgrenade.net Huh? I have transfered there 10 000 GLD for gambling for a test. I will make a good website for GLD.

Yes that site is awesome, I've been using it and getting payouts. Cheesy  The odds are fantastic because it's a chain game, only the last person holding when the specified time span runs out loses, AFAIK everyone else wins.  It works for litecoin and mincoin too.  They should add Yacoin Smiley
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin - A Litecoin Based Currency With a More Favorable Block Reward on: May 17, 2013, 11:23:02 AM
Is there a logo yet?  I'd like to have a Goldcoin avatar

Lets all promote this coin, this is a great coin.  The rewards are excellent.

114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin - A Litecoin Based Currency With a More Favorable Block Reward on: May 17, 2013, 08:02:59 AM
Play bitgrenade, this game is awesome and the payouts really come through!  The odds are great since only the last person holding within specified time frame loses and the rest win.

GLDCoin added to www.bitgrenade.net

BitGrenade is a hot potato style chain game currently supporting LTC and MNC.

Your game is pretty awesome.  I'm not one to normally gamble, but the way it's set up is really good.  It seems the odds are in great favor.  Cheesy
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitgrenade is Awesome on: May 17, 2013, 03:58:27 AM
It's a chain game, basically the last person holding after the given time limit loses.  The rest of the people win.  So the more people that know about it the better your chances are of winning.  This game is great!

Litecoin, Goldcoin, and Mincoin

How does one kill all screen sessions?  I accidently started a few sessions per server and they all have different numbers, I want to kill them all in one swoop and start over
118  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How do you know if you have a botnet on your system? on: May 17, 2013, 12:49:32 AM
Thanks guys.  I ended up doing a reformat to be safe.  There was definitely something fishy going on.  The video card thing stopped after I closed a few ports that I had opened for previous solo mining sessions.  The few days prior to that I had installed 15 wallets for different coins, so maybe that is a possibility.  But I think what might have happened is I clicked a link in a forum that was posted by a guy who openly admitted to being a botnet runner.  The page that it took me too immediately aroused my suspicions.  He was the admin of the site so I mistakenly trusted his link.  The deal sealer was when today I noticed the first two cores on my processor were running full throttle and labels as "system".  Even after reboots and such.

All is good now and I will use VMs from now on to be very safe.  I also have 2 full 3rd party package AV/Firewalls installed and 4 of the best full time running anti-malware/spyware progs running.  As well as peerblocker  Cheesy  Maybe it would worth finding a hosts file as well that is filled with all the latest "junk".

Hey btw niko what is that box you posted?  What does it do and where can I get one?  Is that similar to a PFsense box?  I haven't read much on the PFsense yet, but maybe it's something I should figure out, or that box that you posted.  Cheesy  I do have DD-WRT though that I previously flashed a while back to increase maximum simultaneous connections, maybe I should learn how to beef up some of the firewall settings.

Can somebody fix the new wallet.  There were two versions of the feathercoin2 wallet, the first one was broken on my machine and wouldn't work after many attempts, the second release worked like a charm.  Also there is something else wrong with this wallet but I'm sure it's just a bug.
