+1 for a forwarding company

So what is a trustworthy forwarding company in China? Anyone have suggestions?

I've been inquiring about this from many to no avail. Expect no help here on the forum, knowledge is power

I received the DHL tracking number.

They received payment on Feb 12. Package shipped on Feb 19. I signed up for tracking updates. Good thing I did. The tracking update includes the full shipping address. Let's just say that they are not natural English/USA speakers and there were a lot of typos in the address (don't know why they can't cut and paste from the e-mail). I sent a message to DHL with the corrected address.

The address had typos in the street name, although close enough for the delivery guy. No State in the address field, but the zip code would take care of that.

That doesn't instill confidence in those who want to order. If you cant even get copy paste an address what other things may be overlooked. I hope this is not the norm and they'll fix their mistakes

just stumbled on this coin last days and i really like it, especially the fact that you guys released this before vertcoin and that its scrypt jane. only thing that can be better is the total nr of coins.. maybe you should consider it halving?
Yes but total coins is after 7 years Wink
If this will come to be global payment gateway, amount is not so huge.

Are you sure its 7yrs? I thought there was going to be only 1 Billion produced/year untill it reaches 100billion

I just found out about this coin today and have a quick question.  It seems to me this coin will take VERY long time to reach 100,000,000,000 coin cap with the way reward/mining system is set up.  Can anyone chime in and explain to me what the coins in circulation looks like in near future and how long it will take to finish mining all coins?  (I know everything depends on number of ppl minining but just an estimate would nice).  Thanks in advance friends!

It will take about 70yrs to mine all the coins I believe. 30% will be minted in the 1st year, followed by a 1% inflation rate after that till all the coins are minted
108  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: GRIDSEED Group Buy on: February 19, 2014, 03:33:19 AM
OK,

I'm starting to get irritated on purchasing the Gridseed units.  More than happy to bulk purchase 200 units (and keep 100 for myself), working with Frank with multiple emails, but having to have it shipped to someone in China, to reship to me is something I don't have the trust factor with, and to be honest is the one reason I haven't moved forward to purchase these in bulk and resell some in the US.

So if people want these - we need to find out how to get them out of China Smiley

I was devastated when I found that they are not willing to ship directly to the U.S. having to find a reliable and honest person to reship the units here is defiantly a huge concern of mine as well. My social network to china goes as far as watching IP man lol  Cheesy

I'm probably going to end up buying these at retail price god damn it
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Appeal to the community for the development of MC2 and related technologies on: February 19, 2014, 01:38:43 AM
That's a lot of coins generated per annum. Do you think it's really best to do it this way? Market Cap would be huge in order to get significant traction.

Well, it can be adjusted by an order of magnitude in base 10 if you guys want it to be, e.g. 18,700,697 coins in the first year.  This doesn't affect market capitalization against USD or BTC though, just the price per coin.

+1 price/coins are the only thing that will be affected. Personally I'd rather own 1 million coins that are worth $1/coin, instead of owning 10btc that are worth $1 million or $100k/btc. I'd rather make payments in whole units so, please dont reduce the order of magnitude by 10x.

Their emails are swamped. I requested info for prices and payment method but they are taking a while to get back to me. From what I've gathered so far tho is tht the above prices are accurate.

nothing wrong with premine if the dev does all the work. you think you should get rich off a coin just because your a miner while the devs buss their asses working a project

More exchanges like tht trade in fiat like this one needs to pop up. That way when BTC crashes or dies all crypto doesn't die with it

Better buy up while the last of the cheap MRC is available gentlemen....volume and price starting to rise..

We're at about 0.00000100 LTC at Poloniex now Wink. Indeed, I expect the price to (heavily) increase soon.
I already bought and mined a nice stack of MicroCoins, but I keep hoarding in the meantime.

Priced just dropped 30% you should have waited to buy, knowing that the block rewards were going to become super high theres always going to be dumps
Well, price is anyway low if we look over some weeks:

Why some one sell, I think:
1. Sellers don't believe this coin on future
2. They dump & pump
3. Or they need to pay they electric bills Smiley

Me too holding and mining, profit with dump pump is not worthy and there is always risky to leave the train.

well prices are still high to me considering I bought some at .00000033ltc  Cool I got greedy and tried to put in buy orders at .00000010 and then the price went much higher as it is today
115  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: GRIDSEED Group Buy on: February 17, 2014, 09:21:39 PM
It's true the Chinese are pretty much buying these units for about $170/unit... while the americans are paying $400-600/unit god damn

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] alcurEX Cryptocurrency Exchange - 50% IPO - Selling shares now! on: February 17, 2014, 07:04:29 AM
In the share profit calculator, the default estimated total profit/month is 20 BTC.
What do you think? Is it realistic? Too low or too high?

The profit calculator is just a theoretical projection based on how much attention and volume you think it might get. more volume= more profit. No one one here can predict the future so no one can tell you this is realistic. The calculator is for imagination lol.... if alcurEX can get btc-e, coinbase, cryptsy volume the profits will be worth it
118  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Looking for a group buy ASIC on: February 17, 2014, 03:50:23 AM
I'm thinking of organizing a group buy. I'v been in contact with the manufacture. The only hard thing about escrow when doing group buys is that the manufactures need payment in full, so escrow is hard to do unless the person organizing the group buy is made of $100k +
119  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: GRIDSEED Group Buy on: February 17, 2014, 02:06:27 AM
I received the same quote from them, they also posted the pricing in cybtc.com.

Sorry, i'm not familiar. Just wanna ask, would escrow work on this? As they require to pay them before they ship out the products.

Personally, I don't think escrow will work, unless OP has 32k$ min. .

Its actually more then that because considering shipping. I believe it maybe pretty heavy because heat sinks
120  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [In stock] Gridseed 5-chips USB miner - $259 on: February 17, 2014, 01:07:26 AM
Don't want to change the subject, I advise any prospective buyer to use escrow and mainly to use common sense.

I do have a separate point though: price/profitability.
I know you guys are mining just for the sake of the network and in "ars gratia artis" terms. But these will never break even mining at 3Mh with 90W power consumption, at 0,1$/KW, which are all very optimistic.
And don't tell me you will be also mining SHA, because at that hash/power consumption it will lose you money from day one.
At a 3% difficulty increase you will be 1500$ in the red after ~500days. Do you need to wait that long to find out you've lost 1500$?

And we all know that once ASICS get in, the diff will explode. Bitcoin has about 25-30% steady diff increase. But the first Bitcoin ASICS, whoever got them first were sold at a price that could be recouped in 30 days or less. Gridseed, as it is priced right now does not break even!

My point and message to you, seeds is that your price is too high. Especially in the current Crypto market.
Please price it at a level at which the miners can make a buck, at least a small one.
I'd buy if this would have a max 90 days breakeven time.

There are other sellers pricing these at $500-700 now that is a ripoff
