101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RLC] iEx.ec blockchain-based distributed cloud announces its Crowdsale on: March 08, 2018, 09:48:06 PM
I did a little digging

from this original article on bleepingcomputer

" Vulnerable SGX development kits include the Intel SGX SDK, Rust-SGX, and Graphene-SGX."

from a February medium update:
https://medium.com/iex-ec/iexec-dev-letter-14-intel-sgx-security-and-r-14-feb-2018-544d87e28869

"Our SGX implementation is currently based on SCONE — a Secure Linux Containers with Intel SGX."

from SCONE github
https://sconedocs.github.io/

SOON TO COME: While SGX is affected by Spectre, SCONE adds protection against Spectre (variants 1 and 2)

What happening March 7? it's high volume and spike, news? Thx
Charts look very good, i like.

Looks like a big investor or an insider (maybe a few) bought lots of RLC - good news to me  Grin
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RLC] iEx.ec blockchain-based distributed cloud announces its Crowdsale on: March 08, 2018, 09:12:30 AM

meanwhile Intel stock keeps pushing new highs even though its their processors that are mostly affected....
You are right to bring this up, i do not know nearly enough in the subject, and I have no idea if iExecs SDK is vunerable to these side channel attacks, so if a community manager or team member can comment on this, that would be nice.

what I will say is that I have faith, not only in RLC but also in Intel patching and fixing the code to make it more robust than ever.

Hi all. Where can I find any info on the development progress? And the slack autoinvite link is not working.
Thanks.

106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nervous for Elixir! (price Spec) on: March 07, 2018, 02:09:38 PM
Ive been a big fan of elixir and think the devs are doing a great job but the price is volatile and keeps dropping now and i dont have shaky hands and I definitely wont pull my money out of this project but I was wondering what are your guys's expectations for elixirs price at the end of 2018?
Elixir is not a worthy project so we don't expect anything in this coin. But this year end it will reach 2 to 3 USD is possible because number of altcoins are available in the market and continuously launching the altcoins also so future possibilities of this coin is indeterminant. So better you should exchange this coin is the right decision. I am just predict the previous value this coin.

hmmm... well i disagree, i think it will easily clear the $2-3 mark, i think EOY the price will be between $5-10. 40% of batches haven't been used (been 40% for a while now) which signals to me strong faith in Elixir. Once the app is complete this summer Elixir will have more traction and something to actually market.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread | 1st mini-blockchain coin | Bounties! on: March 03, 2018, 05:17:44 AM
Cryptonite doesn't have a company behind it. It's community driven. So, instead of complaining, why don't you do the support in Thai? You do speak English and you could relay here the questions you can't answer yourself.

It's easy, you are a scam

There is no community,

Like i have mention before, i trusted you,

but that wass a major mistake.

I hope you follow the latest news in Thailand about TDAX, ICO, BX and Scams.

Bank Of Thailand, driven by government advice, forced all banks with Thai license, to be very carefull with crypto. KrungThai and Bangkok Bank broke all relationship with TDAX. BX.IN.TH have to proof there is no currency on the exchange what can be linked to scam or ICO.

And yay, Cryptonite is under investigation :-)

And oh my Goth, you are an scam.

You are the talk of the day on BX chatroom, in Thai.

Maybe that explaine why your vallue goes from almost nothing to compleetly nothing.

Oh yeah, your website and communications form you and your friends, on this forum, have give the Thai gov, a good reason for start the investigation about scam.

Maybe we can talk later in Bangkok Hilton.

BTW, next on the list is Quark

Thai government forced banks to be careful with crypto cuz idiots like you are losing their life savings, and then complain that they "invested" and lost all their money. even though you didn't invest in shit. you're buying a coin. like buying a soda. just because you buy a Coca Cola from the store doesn't make you a shareholder or investor.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden Gems on: March 03, 2018, 05:01:41 AM
I think RLC (iexec) could potentially do 100x but who knows..
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: March 02, 2018, 06:54:31 AM
A few people in Korea learning what the West has overlooked; Nexus. You know that's how Korea took over semicondoctors. Nexus has soo much on the plate this year, and thier dev team is growing. 3D chain, signiture-chains, satellite launch, democratic voting structure, decentralized mining, alternet protocol testing (decentralized internet) from low-earth orbit, tritium wallet, etc.

Oh, and what I like about their community...very very few crypto's take decentralization seriously, allowing centralized mining, pre-mines, centralized ICO's, etc. Not Nexus, their whole philosophy is about how to design-in sovereignty for the 99%. 3DC is going to be air-tight and unstoppable.
- MetaSouls @ Nexus reddit

Love it! Seems like the Koreans start to accumulate a lot of Nexus. Upbit (korean exchange) has almost twice the volume as bittrex today. Let's see where the price settles.

happy overall but saddened  i didnt load up on more in the sub $2 dollar range, woke up this morning it was above 2, was hoping for a little dip on my way to work, come back from work 10 hours later and i see $4.50!! Cool Grin
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: February 28, 2018, 07:54:32 PM
All the devs do is bla bla bla.
I am not going to comment what they do. But I can see what they do not: they do not advertise the coin even if it is free for them. In the past they told that it is too expensive to list here and there. Now it may be free, but, as I said initially, no one is interested.

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [GBYTE] Byteball Speculation on: February 28, 2018, 07:53:42 PM
What do you think is the price development mid term after the distribution model has changed?

I am not pretty sure what impact it has on the long run. Byteball is awesome tech with some unique featues. KYC is one of the big topics in the domain with the increasing regulation activities. For that reason Byteball could be a spear head in crypto field by providing a easy to use solution to do KYC.

Well... clearly short term, it hasn't worked out, but ultimately we got rid of some weak hands, who were going to dump the airdrop anyways... mid to long term, i am still bullish on Gbyte for the simple reason that the Tech is phenomenal! not to mention the countless features it has : black bytes, oracles, atomic swap etc. I do wish that perhaps Tony had picked a better ICO to start with than silent notary. but we shall see what the future holds

"Beginner’s Guide to iExec" by Louis Nel in Blockonomi:

iExec is a cryptocurrency that solves the problem of decentralizing the cloud. Our daily computing needs continue to rely more on big cloud enterprises to host and act as gatekeepers to our own data. The risks involved with this centralized model are growing. iExec uses blockchain technology to create a marketplace of dApps where anyone can access cloud resources at a fraction of the cost of traditional cloud providers.

You need to stop. I literally don't have enough time to read all these updates before the next one comes out. great job tho, wish i had more Fiat
iExec will run the world in 5 years

Sorry for being slightly spammy. I need to keep that thread alive, what do you suggest?

You are not spammy at all. I like you to keep us abreast. Keep on informing us, please, and thanks for your time and your effort.

Yeah my fault, sometimes sarcasm doesnt work out when I type it, lol. Great Job, though Smiley I wish more projects were this attentive to keeping the community updated.

115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] SingularityNET: Decentralizing the Future of AI on: February 27, 2018, 04:18:43 PM
Those seek long term investment but durable with constant growth then SingulaityNet is best platform for them. We see traffic towards this thread is very less because majority is looking for short term benefits which they can't find here. AGI as token will secure a market cap of few billions within couple of years but all the achievements will last longer.

Well said. SingularityNet is a very long term investment in the world of crypto, but it is a project with an amazing team, amazing potential and a real future.

yes, honestly 5 years from now, i can see AGI having over 10Billion mkc

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [RLC] iExec Speculation on: February 27, 2018, 07:41:01 AM
i think RLC will have a 10B mkc in 2 years time -
it's a nice project for the French state and for artificial intelligence technology. a better development work environment occurs if state support exists. important project needs to be supported.
it could be $ 10 in less than two years. Because iex saw the price of $ 6.

oh $10 definitely by EOY, i was thinking $100 (10Billion Marketcap) by early 2020

119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: February 26, 2018, 03:08:15 AM
I truly believe Sonm could go x100, and have a total marketcap of 10 billion with each coin valued at 20$. They're developing a fog network that's gonna disrupt:
* data rendering (video, gaming)
* data sharing and distribution
* cloud mining
* cloud computing
* IoT

They're building local cloud structures, which is estimated to become a 400 billion dollar market by 2020. Imagine if sonm takes up 1% of that market, it would still be close to 10$ a coin. Personally, I think Sonm will get closer to 5% of that market, given their close relationship to other fog based companies, multiple partnerships with great companies like AION, Selectel, and they're gaining a lot of interest from giants like HP, Intel (they're even part of cloud28+). 2.5% of that market would be 10 billion, which would be about 20$ a coin (x100)

SONM $SNM Is undervalued at the momoment for sure!

I prefer RLC, IMO the team is better, but i hodl sonm aswell - im very bullish on decentralized cloud super computer, so my guess is that theyll both be winners Smiley
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: First time investor, $6k buget, did I choose the right coins? on: February 25, 2018, 08:34:28 AM
I think you should remove Dash and add Ark instead since you already have Monero in your portfolio for anon crypto otherwise your portfolio is quite good. Also I didnt see Bitcoin in your list so I wonder if you are investing in Bitcoin or not since you should hodl at least 50% of your crypto investment in Bitcoin for long-term. Personnally, I suggest you to remove PIVX too since it is like Dash fork.

I second that, Privacy coins are good, but Ark has more use cases. OP should also look into decentralized super computing (RLC, GNT, XEL, SONM, etc..) i think the next 5 years for this sector
