101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Replacement for a College Savings Plan on: December 28, 2023, 11:43:39 PM
When it comes to mutual funds, I would prefer to save Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Ada, Bnb, Matic, or Sol if I will only hold the money for 10–15 years. Chances are even higher that the value of those will be big after those years.

There is the same risk in mutual funds and digital currency, right? At least with Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, we are still in control of our money compared to mutual funds; this is what I see as an advantage literally in the world we live in in this field industry.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: December 28, 2023, 11:33:41 PM
The cryptocurrency landscape is gradually taking a new turn and am loving it already. It's like the era of BTC dominance and dictation of other altcoins performance is gradually winding down.

TAO, KAS, BGB, TIA among other numerous altcoins are among those that have recorded ATH recently even as BTC struggle to hold up the $36,500 resistance.

Among other altcoins that have been impressive are ORDI, SATS, VMPX, WOJAK and PEPE1.

Fortunately there is an ongoing event for new users on Bitget where there is  $10,000 prize pool in the latest Hotcoins season 5 edition.

As we look forward to the anticipated bullrun come 2024, what altcoins are you holding and why do you think they will bring more returns compared to others?

Know that Bitcoin or altcoin are the same; they can be tools for you to have income in the future, actually. But when it comes to the question of sure-ball profit in the long term, the chances of you getting Bitcoin are significantly higher compared to altcoins.

Because of altcoins, the chances are higher that you won't get a profit because the risk here is also too high, especially if you choose the wrong altcoins to hold for the long term. But if you are sure about the altcoins that you will hold for the long term, you can earn more here compared to Bitcoin, and that rarely happens.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Learn to use DEBT in a proper way to create asset on: December 27, 2023, 02:42:55 PM
Let's discuss this matter, friends. If others don't already know, there are two types of debt. This is bad debt, and the second is good debt. And we know that this concept was explained by Robert Kiyosaki.

* Bad debt: This is what makes a person suffer, because it is the things that give us liabilities or the ones that decrease in value, such as gadgets and cars. And the common problem with these loans is that you will pay them with high interest.

* Good debt: this is the type of debt that will make a person rich. Or else you will also earn money because, instead of using it for your needs, you will use it to build an asset. Which, if you handle it properly, can give you extra income.
In the reality of life we face two kinds with debt between consumptive debt or productive debt, I will give little describe difference between two type of debt because many people get their self take much debt benefit for consumptive debt only but not use debt how to make ut more productive and increasing with their earning. Good debt or productive debt using for building business and earn profitable later and its area for businessmen keep get loan or borrowing money for building up their business.
Some people have bad life style and push their them get borrowing for consumptive debt use their lifestyle only and will face difficult later how to pay loan interested. Be smart when getting loan as bad or good debt if you want use loan for build up your business its not problem with productive debt.

That means what Op said about good and bad debt is correct. Generally speaking, debt is not bad. It only gets worse the more the borrower uses it. Which is that if it is used correctly, the result will be good in the end, that's for sure.

So what you said is also correct, and I don't contradict it either, and that's really the point of what we're talking about in this section that Op actually did.

105  Economy / Economics / Re: How to gain money on: December 23, 2023, 03:35:34 PM
I agree but this also depends on mindsets, and on how smart people are. Some rich individuals are just lucky enough to be descendants of a rich family, few were from rags to riches and one in a million lucky winners of lottery jackpots. There is really no shortcut for an average guy to get rich.

Do you know why the gambling site was still survive over many decades, because of the jackpot. Many gamblers get into the gambling by seeing the jackpot win or big win by their friends or colleagues. As you said only few people will make the big win,but the betting was placed in the gambling site to make the try of big winning. The gambling may allow one middle class person to become the richest person by the winning. Before many people use the lottery to check their luck.

Even my father was the gambler from his young age, this made becoming the gambler after my graduation. My father never teach me about the gambling, but I had heard some of my mother scolding for some loss in his younger age.Now I had an habit of using 10-20 percentage my expenses in the gambling site.

Dont think that is the reason why gambling sites are still gaining new customers and still surviving to this very day. The urge for money will not end and with that people will see gambling as a means of making quick extra cash to support life needs. Gambling is not something I see will stop anytime soon. It has been going on for thousands of years and will be passed on to the next generation.

The rich would want to become richer this is why both the rich and the poor gamble. Gambling does not have anything to do with financial status. The wins and loss are being shared by the both of them so sometime a gambler may experience win and sometime loss.

You are quite right in what you said. Rich or poor want to get rich; maybe other gamblers want to get rich by playing gambling and think that they will also get lucky, and even rich people can think like this too.

But there are many ways that you don't need to put your money or ours at risk just by gambling; there are actually many, such as applying for a job, using your skills to produce money, and so on. As long as you are a strategic person, you will definitely not lose your income, no matter how difficult it is, as long as you are diligent and determined.
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: December 23, 2023, 03:26:46 PM
In a community in this business field, if you know for yourself that you are making a profit in crypto trading because you have deep knowledge of trading, then I think what you say about trade has no space in their thoughts.

If you trade and are hindered in your trading activity, I can even say that you will be able to overtrade, as you say. In short, if you are knowledgeable about trading, you will not lose profit every day for sure.

109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm after a gambling site for ufc betting that accepts bitcoin on: December 22, 2023, 08:11:13 AM
As far as I know, bcgames, stakes, cloudbet, winz.io, and sportsbet.io are crypto gambling companies that accept Bitcoin. But of course, this is all I know. However, it's better to do your own research to find out, right?

Why bitcoin? Is this the one you want to use to compare, so that if you get lucky, you will also be paid in bitcoin for playing the betting games on the platforms I mentioned? Good luck to you anyway Wink
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites and current transactions fee on: December 22, 2023, 08:01:23 AM
Now the gambling site was in the trouble because of the high transaction fee by the exchanges like the Binance. It was unacceptable one for the gambler to pay 26 dollars to withdraw funds from the Binance.Being a gambler,my opinion is to hold till the money in the exchange itself.Surely we get the profit from the gambling site,if we follow some techniques in the gambling site. But my point is why we need to pay the exchange fee of 26 dollars for the single transaction.
Binance is charging fee on bitcoin transaction excessively. They are really using it to make money for their own pockets.

My decision may be seems revolutionary one,but the fact is the same transaction fee will be reduced when the market back to the bear standard. The bull run give huge dollars to the trader who hold from the 31k market price of the bitcoin.I had some arguments with my friends with whom we meet on every weekend. They also had the opinion of hold their money in the exchange till the market fee back to the normal one.So what your standard for the current transaction fee of bitcoin.
If it is small amount of money, move it using a lightning network. The fee is cheap.

I just want to ask, sir, how the lightning network is used. I have read about the lightning network, but I am confused as to how it works. I do not know where to start. For example, if I use electrum, what do I do?

Can you guide me on this matter if it's not too much trouble for you, sir, because the fee is very expensive now? To be honest, even though it's not gambling, it hurts my brain a bit if I just think about it.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: December 20, 2023, 07:42:30 PM
~snip~

Yeah, they use all their tricks to get you to stay longer at the casino.

If you are losing and planning to go, they can see that and send you a snack with some drinks.

Or, if you just won big, they might come and celebrate with you, give you free drinks, etc, so that you stay and give their money back  Grin

you know what is one of our main currencies? attention
social media developers know about it, and casino owners too, they want to maximize the time you stay there so you bet more and they earn more
simple math
Gambling sites have working system that makes customers more curious and have fun and can last longer to spend all their money, and every gambler has the hope that there will be chance to win but in reality there will be only one answer, namely losing.
Every casino game has an algorithm that gamblers really cannot guess and this is one of the factors that causes feelings of curiosity to always arise and in excessive conditions, gamblers fail to understand it and are aware of things like this.

One thing I always remember is to bet longer with the fun you get and when the money starts to run low to reduce the number of bets in each round then they will give you number of wins.
But winning only when in smaller betting amounts.
This is like trap that is always present and given to all customers who start risking their money.

and indeed most gamblers who gamble can spend a lot of money and a lot of time, the hope that gamblers have is a big win where a big win is difficult to get,  because it is also impossible to get that win easily with just a small win. It's already difficult, let alone that big win. also gamblers who just play cannot possibly predict victory or can have tricks to get big wins easily because it only depends on luck which will determine whether they win or lose but most gamblers who put big hopes on their gambling lose,  not win, because It is clear that the percentage of losses is greater than the percentage of wins, because the dealer also doesn't want to lose so the dealer as host will never lose in this case.

Is it really like that? but I once had a moment like what you said, where I gambled for quite a long time and when my money ran low, at that moment the game became good again and I raised the money that had run out,  I didn't know that was a rule, I just thought it was my luck at gambling. and indeed this is a trap for us to convince us to continue gambling  without stopping, the great temptation to gamble is very difficult to avoid,  in fact it is almost impossible to avoid it.

What you say is true: it becomes a trap for a gambling player when they win a large amount of money; it causes them to become greedy, which drives them to continue gambling. Instead of stopping because they already have a win,.

So in this situation, I remembered what I read here in our gambling section: that it is important to have self-discipline, or what is called self-control, in these situations. When we win, we avoid winning, and then in the end, we lose.
112  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 20, 2023, 07:32:13 PM
I don't regret learning about gambling, even when I was still a child, I was already exposed to it through simple games with friends that involved money. I was aware of the risks and consequences, so it wasn't a big deal for me even if I experienced losses. Perhaps those who have regrets are the real gamblers who have been greatly affected negatively in their lives. And those who became serious about gambling that led to problems, I didn't reach that point.

Did you really start to gamble when you were a child? At what age did you start gambling, or did you learn it? I'm just curious: was this when you were in elementary school, or was it at the high school level when you learned to gamble?

I, on the other hand, do not regret getting involved in crypto gambling. Yes, I often lose gambling, but I am aware of that because it feels different when you win gambling. But when I don't have a match, I stop gambling and come back another time when I have another chance to gamble. That's all I do.

It's not that I don't trust the bank, but I haven't used a bank for several years, and I don't have a bank account there either. Most of the time, I have e-wallet accounts here locally in our country.

Ever since I did crypto trading online, though, I tried to open an account at the bank, but when it was time, they didn't accept my crypto trading so that I could be approved for opening an account with them. Because they want me to have a permanent job or any legal business.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 12, 2023, 07:11:38 AM
I was thinking that if you have money you can make a good income from any investment in the world without someone having the idea, until I met one young wealthy man in the flight yesterday and he saw me checking some coins price in my cryptocurrency wallet, and he begin to ask some questions related to cryptocurrency and, I responded to him in a way he begin to show some interest in cryptocurrency investment. Based on some orientation I gave to him in the flight made him to return the money I paid for flight when will got to our destination because, he gained some ideas from me in the flight that made me to bring this topic, Is there any way someone can survive only in money in a particular investment without acquire idea? Because I know that idea and money are very important to investors.

If you have idea on a particular investment, it will help you to follow the straight way that will lead you to some stage that will make you to believe that you are close to your destination of greatness, and if you have money and idea, very easy for you to grow higher in your investment which the two are very important to investors because, you will know the type of business to invest your money which you have the idea that it will bring a good profits to you in the future. Do you believe idea and money are very important in investment? Or can you succeed with money without idea in that investment.

I try not to give financial advice to friends or strangers, and even more so to colleagues. The fact is that we are all confident in our strategies and actions, and we want the best for other people. But the fact is that because of this, they can invest their last money and lose it because of our advice. And we will be guilty of wanting to help them.
My friends, far from cryptocurrencies, bought crypto assets at the highest prices twice...

It's good that you say this, and I like what you said that we have our own strategies to make our own way to earn here in this field of business. And what you have mentioned is true.

It's hard to invest if we haven't done any research on the investment we're going to make. At this age, we also have to work hard to get money, and this is normal in our lives as people while living in this world. So we should not separate knowledge from money for any investment we make in the future.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Bitcoin Devolpers planning to kill Ordinals and Inscription on: December 12, 2023, 06:37:50 AM
This is not new. Bitcoin developers know how to solve Ordinals and Inscriptions issue and we have discussed this before on this forum when BRC20 surfaced.

Miners are making money from transactions and to solve this, a proposal might be proposed. If proposed in Bitcoin Improvement Proposal, did you think that miners will agree? Remember that miners have their own nodes. I do not think any mining pool will agree to this when they are making more money from transactions.

I will also say that bitcoin developers can look for alternatives means to solve this issue of transaction fee because Ordinals makes the use of bitcoin blockchain to widen. Some people that do not like the high fee are the ones that are now complaining.

Whether we admit it or not, the higher fee on bitcoin transactions does not really do anything good for all bitcoin holders. Why are there bitcoin holders who want a high fee for every transaction they make here? Do you want that?

That's why if the high Bitcoin transaction fee continues, maybe one day this will be the last Bitcoin halving cycle. Of course, who else would be interested in buying Bitcoin to hold it if they knew its bitcoin fees were so high? Although I know it's impossible to happen right now, No one knows what will happen in the future.

118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is hard!!! on: December 11, 2023, 01:47:27 PM
It's funny how people see trading as a Ponzi or get rich scheme. They end up losing there hard earned money in the chase for more money.
It's also so funny how some wants to learn a life changing skill in two weeks or a month, meanwhile they spend 4-5 years studying an obsolete course.
Trading like any profitable venture takes time, perseverance and consistently developing and sharpening your skill to be profitable.
In trading you'll fail a thousand times but it's your ability to pick yourself that differentiate you from the lot. Pay for knowledge to shorten your learning time, else you'll learn and you'll learn the hard way.
Develop yourself, pay for knowledge, give time to your craft, pick yourself up any time you fail.
The sky will be your starting point 🕊️❤️

If you have deep knowledge of trading dtio in the cryto space, you will not think that this is a Ponzi scheme. Instead, you will think that it will help you for sure, and this is really the purpose of crypto trading in this field.

And if there is anyone who falls into the Ponzi scheme, it's obviously the people who don't know the opportunity they're entering; instead, they just want to make a quick profit, and so on. But if you learn or study trading, for sure it will be a good tool for you in the end.

https://www.rapid7.com/blog/post/2023/08/22/ransomware-as-a-service-cheat-sheet/
