ok. sending xfer across network from pool to miner on different pool works. Miner asks for password, however pool does not ask for password.

could some miners try to test my pool? ip is 109.90.229.170 Port 35565

thats exactly what i do, only one cheatcoin.exe... no other version is used.

Another question: can miner and pool resist on one machine? i guess that miner and pool should be in different dirs, right?
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHEAT] Cheatcoin - new cryptocurrency on: January 03, 2018, 08:41:19 PM
ok... i run from same dir, just different batch to start... one time the proggi asks for password, the other one on different pool does not ask...

currently trying to setup a pool, its syncing right now.

105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHEAT] Cheatcoin - new cryptocurrency on: January 03, 2018, 08:13:14 PM
question: when i start on pool 1 the program asks for password and displays correct amount of coins, when i connect to another pool, no password is asked and i get a new adress and my old coins are gone. only one wallet file is in program-dir. whats wrong? do the pools not sync? Why does the program not ask for Password and use my former adress for further mining? That would mean i have to stick to one pool and if it dies for any reason my balance would be gone?!

And please give an advice if i want to run a pool, what ports do i have to forward in my router?
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHEAT] Cheatcoin - new cryptocurrency on: January 03, 2018, 08:02:33 PM

so please tell us how he have to setup the portforwarding ip & Port to run a pool. What happens when Public ip changes? Maybe dyndns could help the ones with nonstatic ip.

Maybe write a more detailed instruction how to correctly set it up that.

-d means daemon mode, without it has a text based UI, like a shell to receive commands. What the difference is... idk. maybe the Dev could clarify. No GPU Mining so far...
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHEAT] Cheatcoin - new cryptocurrency on: December 24, 2017, 10:32:55 AM
yes. Mine also got stuck after generating. I just did a strg+c the restarted and it started downloading blocks. After finishing it started mining, as it should. TX also works without problem.
But there are a few hickups which must be fixed soon for security reasons:
-No Password is needed to do a TX, so everyone who is on your PC could do a TX (Trojan Remote Desktop Problem)
-No reply for faulty commands
-Dont know how to recover faulty deleted / corrupted wallet.dat
-No Fancy GUI (lol)

I read this thread since the beginning. Looks really interesting, especially to be involved since the beginning. Any Updates for launch today? Do we need a new version of the Walletprogramm, do we need to change anything except the -D parameter? Do we need to delete the walletfile and create a new one? Can we leave the program open already now to get acting to the Network from the beginning with?
How about a Group on Facebook?
Already got a cool Logo :-) ?

all in all a neat Project and i am glad to be in from the beginning.
