101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big day for ETH on: January 22, 2019, 10:30:19 AM
The new date had been announced for February 27th which coincide with the supposed last day of vaneck Bitcoin ETF verdict. So it has produce a bigger day for strongest crpto coins. If the market handled the resistance for both bitcoin and ethereum efficiently toward that day it should have a significant improvement after the good outcome of both.

It would surely be a significant day for both improvement or another downfall. Hoping that Constantinople would finally go through, ETF is still the verdict. I really doubt it could get approved, and another year for the bear.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I just SOLD my girlfriends car to buy more ETH at sale price :) on: January 22, 2019, 10:24:11 AM
Atleast it was not his car.

You're right. Nobody is that crazy after seeing the 2018 bear market where people sell their properties and end up being broke. Somebody learned his lesson but OP is here for the long haul and this could result huge gains so let's see.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[AIRDROP]BITOZZ | 495.000 BOZZ🔥🔥 on: January 20, 2019, 03:23:07 PM
Do I need to use the other members proof of authentication? I'm not really confodent with it and I think it isn't official POA. OP please respond.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans for this year on: January 20, 2019, 03:19:59 PM
Everyone keeps saying 2019 will be profitable for the crypto community... but in life I've had to learn things the hard way.. which makes me always want to look into things in 2 ways no matter the odds

What if 2019 is the beginning of another dump?? What would you do as a investor?? Wait till your portfolio goes to zero?? ... or sell whatever is left of it??

For me, it's either short the market or take a break without selling any holdings. It's hard to sell at a loss and the best thing is do is not look on your portfolio.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Legit Airdrop Service (justlegitairdrops.com) on: January 19, 2019, 04:01:31 PM
It's cool that there are still some airdrop activities in the space. I thought it was extinct  Grin
Never thinking that this would be profitable but goodluck, hope you could share some value
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTOPIA HACKED on: January 19, 2019, 03:56:32 PM
And you can never be sure it wasn't an inside job.

That's what I also wonder. As of the moment, there we're no official updates regarding the hack incident but it really is suspicious because that happened before the constantinople fork, they could multiply their money by receiving the forked coin I guess.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 10x coin? on: January 19, 2019, 03:39:02 PM
I think that would be Ethereum if it could back to it's ATH  Grin.

Kidding aside, I still believe on ETH even there are so many things going on like hacking incidents which mainly targets tokens running on the network. With their continous developments, this is not far from 10x
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So Much Scam Bounty on: January 16, 2019, 06:30:35 AM
Why are there so many scam bounties out there and how are we to know which is scam or not

Like investing, you need to ensure that the project you are joining on must pass your qualifications. It's not that much to worry like investing but if you are taking bounty seriously, then you should do so. To spot legitimate projects, I could say that you look at their website, the team, their objective (if anyone of that is possible atleast) and the community who supports them (if you could see that there we're no basher's around, they more likely all shilling).
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH after "Constantinople" on: January 16, 2019, 04:32:28 AM
I think since this would decrease the rewards for miners, it is more prone to 51% attack just like what Ethereum Classic experienced recently?
This is just a speculation on "what if's"

Link to follow : https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/after-51-attack-high-transaction-fees-on-ethereum-classic-keep-investors-cautious/

Anyways, since the fork is coming up (but a little bit delayed), I think this could help increase the demand for ETH to receive the forked coin.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto backed assets on: January 13, 2019, 03:37:50 AM
Anybody know of any crypto-currency backed by actual assets?

I only know of one crypto-currency backed by assets.
Besides the currencies that are supposedly backed by fiat there were also in the past some cryptocurrencies that their creators claimed were backed by gold and all of them failed, if you ask me a cryptocurrency backed by anything is a contradiction, we are trying to be decentralized here and if you want a coin to be backed by something then you will need to trust in a centralized party to keep hold of whatever backs that coin so a cryptocurrency backed by something is not a cryptocurrency in my eyes.

Exactly! It won't be decentralized if the crypto is tied with a centralized asset. It's just creating a confusion that investors might get comfortable of investing because it's backed by something. This seems like a ponzi scheme to me
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Year! Welcome 2019 the year of the cryptonians! on: January 12, 2019, 02:04:35 PM
Welcome 2019 the year of the cryptonians! I highly message this to all of us cryptonians Year 2019 is the come back of the market at month of July Prices of all altcoins and bitcoins will go Up! mark my words and comeback here for the thumbs Up! Agree

You have a date, great speculation  Grin. If this would come true, I mean in the span of the month of July, no more no less, I'd give a merit  Grin
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Olympic Coin. Competition? Legend. Profit! on: January 09, 2019, 03:33:53 AM
What blockchain network are you using? It's weird because how could we use this token? For Olympics only like every two years? This is only for your profit, next time you create a coin, try to serve a real use case, don't just type words with odd font. Nice try
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HITBTC withdrawal fees on: January 09, 2019, 03:30:33 AM
Really I'm very upset with this exchange... They have one of the most expensive withdrawal fees I've ever see... I saw this kind of abusive fees in other exchanges like yobit but I tought HITBTC will be a little more serious due to the fact its great volume... They don't need to charge those abusive fees... Really... If they doesn't change their politics I think I will withdraw all my fund from there (despite the fact they will thieve me in every withdrawal I'll make)  Angry Angry

It isn't really that good of exchange in the first place. I've only been using it to trade new coins because they are usually listed first in hitbtc. It's also annoying that they have limit the minimum amount of some tokens that you can exchange. I sometimes have a small amount and I can't get to sell it because it requires a minimum 100 coins to create an order.

Support and their security is bad too. I have my old accounts filled with failed attempt of log ins from someplace I don't know.

True. Now you cannot withdraw you tokens for it has a minimum and you also cannot buy because it has a limit that usually comes with 10's,100's or 1000's. Ridiculous it may seem but you can't do nothing about it because they are unresponsive. I usually deposit tokens their and withdraw in ETH/BTC, I never ever buy on that exchange because some withdrawal fees on tokens costs a lot like 100$ maximum.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can DeepOnion hit ATH again? on: January 09, 2019, 03:11:12 AM
I was an early investor and made a quite good amount from DeepOnion last year. But unfortunately, I have invested again in July possibly and now I am in loss although, overall, I am in profit. Recently, in the dip I had bought more.
Its ATH was $17+. Is it possible to reach at ATH again from the current situation? The only reason I like this coin because of its active DEV team. They are very hard working.

This market is a warzone, everybody works hard to survive. For DeepOnion, even they work hard, there are some cases that they would miss which could be a downfall of them. For you, it's okay if you are currently on loss, it's just paper losses until you sell your holdings. DeepOnion is a great project, but I think it won't recover, there is no use case for this coin IMHO.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MPG: The first big child chain of Ardor on: January 09, 2019, 03:05:03 AM
Might be true. I just want to ask when are those months that you see the price of Ardor spikes? I didn't see any  Grin
Watching from the chart with it's current event that is coming in, it is more likely that it would have a breakout, that sideways is too long LOL.

Pretty good project, watching it by now and do the research. Thanks for the heads-up and bringing this topic in.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now let us predict the unicorn of 2019,whales are accumulating on: January 08, 2019, 06:37:30 AM
I am looking for a unicorn in 2019. Can anyone tell me that a few positions are very concentrated coin? The coins that the whales are accumulating, have explosive potential.
how about gochain,quarkchain,bluzelle

If you are referring to WHALES which definition comes to a person who owns a 10000 bitcoin and above, I think that would not be a good investment for them. They wouldn't spend their money on low cap coins which they are unsure, only if they know the team personally but if not, I think they'd stick with bitcoin, ether or EOS this time. We're on a bear market, buying top coins is sure a hit and lesser of a risk

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Litecoin-UFC Partnership Lead to Mass Adoption? on: January 07, 2019, 03:39:46 AM
I could say that this is a step forward towards mass adoption. Upon stumbling with cryptocurrencies, it's pretty hard to manage because you yourself is your own bank and it might be a factor why crypto isn't yet massively adopted. As you said, we must have "awareness maintenance" which is true but I also wish that we could have "Prior Education" along with that so new people could understand what that promotion really stands for.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Need your advice on: January 07, 2019, 03:32:56 AM
You must check the fundamental ways why a coin's price would grow;
Factors are
1. Do they serve a use case
2. Are the Devs and team still updates you or still updating the project for development?
3. Do you have a community? How large?
4. Who would buy and who would sell?

Depending on your answers is the money you'd place. Don't mind the price, it could be manipulated, just trust your research upon the project and rate it and compare it to other coins. This is just my tips, hope this could help.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Expected Higher Return on: January 07, 2019, 03:22:30 AM
I am thinking of investing little money in cryptocurrency. I don't want to put my money into shitcoins. Therefore, I will invest in only top 10 on CMC.What is your thoughts on ETH, ADA and XRP?

Those coins are great. In my opinion, I think you just need to diversify on those three for they have a lot of potential for growth. Place bigger on Ethereum because of it's upcoming forks this January 2019 and just divide your remaining balance on the other two coins, up to you how much you allocate.
120  Other / Meta / Re: Bug on the merit system? on: December 29, 2018, 03:05:32 PM
Since this is a bug, is this double click double merit thing only works if you have enough spendable merit? I mean If I have one spendable merit, then this won't work on me right?
