101  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: power bills on: December 10, 2013, 06:21:01 PM
I ran 13 7970's for a month. My power is .06 a kilowatt (Canada)

one month bill was just over $1000, was worth it at the time but man was my basement ever hot!!
102  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Black arrow prospero x-1??? on: December 10, 2013, 06:17:18 PM
By the time that miner is released, the difficulty could be sky high, its best to buy miners there and then instead of preordering.

Exactly.  But Black Arrow will make a lot of money off people willing to pay now.

I almost wish I could preorder one now, and then sell my place in line to someone else in Jan/Feb Wink

I have already paid for 20 X-1's, bit of a gamble but I think they will be easy to resell if and when they show up.

Pretty sure I will keep them and mine with them cuz btc will be $3000 each by then  Roll Eyes

ROI? bah, who cares, this is FUN!! Very exciting times. I will be telling Al Bundy glory days stories when I am old and gray.

short answer, 'no'

104  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Black Arrow Software real or fake? on: December 10, 2013, 05:12:21 PM
does anyone have the link to the page where you put your payment details AFTER you wire money? I cant find it.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboard of choice for 6 or more GPU's on: December 10, 2013, 05:02:56 PM
running more than 4 gpus on a single mobo is annoying. Lots of crashes and lockups. Trust me, you will spend way to much time trying to keep it stable.

At the end of the day you just want a stable rig that needs no babysitting.
106  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 487GH for $10/GH Good deal? on: December 10, 2013, 04:58:15 PM
$10 a ghash, very unlikely. Proceed with caution.
107  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Megabigpower AMAZING customer support on: December 06, 2013, 05:21:24 PM
I needed to RMA a part. My email was answered same day and 2 days later the part was delivered to me, in Canada, from Washington.

Big thanks to Yvonne who went out of her way to completely and quickly resolve the problem. I would not hesitate to buy from them again  Grin
108  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] New Sealed White Fake Beats Studios (Yes they have Bass) LTC & BTC CHeap on: December 05, 2013, 11:50:39 PM
folks do your homework, the REAL ones are crap. Why the fuck would you buy fakes other than to look cool (ya ok whatever)

just google 'headphone reviews' and you will see that beats are pure celeb endorsement garbage

This is pure bottom feeding, catering to losers who want to look like they are boss, it is very sad.

Peddle your junk elsewhere.

ok first off i assume if people are old enough to write on this forum they can formulate their own opinion this post doesn't add anything to the original OPs post and isn't needed and its very rude manners may not mean anything to you but they mean a lot to me

The fact that people actually buy celeb endorsed products just shows that indeed people can NOT formulate their own opinions. 'Rude'? hardly, truthful? Yes.

Nothing against you, I don't just understand why these USB's are going so high. 10 bucks won't even ROI at this stage of the game. lol

Slow down man, these things are novelty devices to be used as small gifts. Just like what I almost did with a few jallys when I saw them for the first time.. Before the external bricks were added to the prototype... and before it became 5 times the size.

funny, I am actually giving some to my nephews for Christmas to get them interested in bitcoin.

Still a few left (10 USB's and hub combos), dropped price to reflect bitcoin price drop

will take BTC0.6

no escrow, plenty of people have bought from me on this board and they all got exactly what I said they would get

Will accept fiat (western union or paypal if you insist, can also accept credit cards via my merchant account)

I will ship SAME DAY you pay, via courier with tracking
includes the hub so you can run all 10 at same time with zero power issues.

As far as I know these and the ankers are the only hubs that can do this.

Video of them working I just did this morning

http://youtu.be/6XZSGA24qkA

Will provide help setting up if needed.

Perhaps when  you 'order' you should pay for the shit you ordered.

Call me crazy but thats what I did and I got several emails with confirmations. They also answered several separate emails I sent.
114  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best Pre-Order Option NOW on: December 04, 2013, 04:55:10 PM
To make the list a little more inclusive for folks that are smaller scale:

1) Black Arrow X-3              2TH        $6000   $3/GH     est shipping Feb 24th
2) Black Arrow X-1              100GH    $450     $4.5/GH
3) BITMINE Coincraft Rig     2TH        $12k      $6/GH    est shipping Feb 2nd week
4) BITMINE Antminer
5) KNC Neptune                  3TH        $13k     $4.3/GH  shipping Q1/Q2 so April/May??
6) CoinTerra TerraMiner IV  2TH        $6k        $3/GH     April Batch
7) HashFast Baby Jet          400 GH   $2250    $5.62/GH

9) BFL Monarch 600            600 GH   $4680    $7.8/GH
10) BFL Monarch 300           300 GH  $2800    $9.3/GH

Looks like Cointerra and Black Arrow are winning the price war.
Did I miss any of the players?

Now really , what are those ... things... doing there?

Seriously, on their site they say they have units in hand ready to ship. I emailed them 2 days ago to confirm this. No reply yet.

Anyone know what the hosting costs are going to be?

200-300/month is the norm for this sort of thing
