I was aware of an important thing like Haaland didn't play in the Leverkusen match but still Dortmund shouldn't have played this badly. They would have got at least one point in this match normally. And it wouldn't be a surprise to see them winning even in the absence of Haaland too. Leverkusen were one of the in-form teams maybe but I didn't think that they had much chance here. But they obtained a spectacular victory by 5-2 away. As Bayern Munich beat Leipzig by 3-2, the point gap with Dortmund is nine again.

Manchester United are going to have an away match tomorrow and it is against Burnley. This could be a really comfortable match for the Red Devils as long as they put their biggest effort in this match. Burnley are not a serious threat for Manchester United. There is no way for this. Because Burnley are the last-placed team in the standings and they can't win matches. They won only once so far and they should be ready for another loss. Manchester United can forget about the Middlesbrough loss by defeating Burnley in the league and move on.

Lebron James might finally be able to play tonight against New York Knicks. Lakers have had a really worrying form nowadays and this caused them to drop to the lower levels in the standings. They need to start performing well from now on to make things better for themselves. Knicks are a tough team maybe but Lakers can win this game home. They played against each other this season before and Knicks won it by 106-100. Lakers can have their revenge this time if they have a good team play.

Watford balanced the match even though Burnley started better than them in the first half. The general look of the match is quite balanced and I won't be surprised if it ends in a draw like this. The only surprising thing for me would be that there is still no goal. We would have seen at least a draw like 1-1. Because each team found many opportunities to score. But they were clumsy as for finding the target and scoring. This is a match between the teams in the relegation field in the end. But getting a win here would be really useful for either of them.

Rayo Vallecano have been really bad in their match against Celta Vigo so far. Celta Vigo are still ahead by 1-0 and there are twenty minutes to go for the final whistle. This is still a dangerous score for Celta Vigo of course. I think that they should score the second one to start feeling more comfortable. Otherwise, they might come across a last minute surprise or so. And the last match today is Osasuna - Sevilla. I think that Sevilla are really close to winning this match. Osasuna are not much of a capable team these days. Sevilla would win.

We are finally in the finale in this tournament. Senegal and Egypt are the teams in this match. And I believe that Senegal are really close to the title. The thing they must watch out for the most is that Egypt can really be an annoying team for their opponents. They like to wear their opponent out and finish it in extra time or after penalties. Senegal must have solved them and they can develop a special strategy against Egypt in this match. They must be finishing the job in ninety minutes above all else. Otherwise, Egypt could even win the title.

The derby match has already started and it is going on with a high tempo in these minutes. Inter's one goal has been cancelled due to offside. Right after this incident, Inter found another big goal chance but couldn't benefit from it. This is an important match for both teams. And Nets are still in a horrible shape by having a six-game losing streak. And for this game, I see not only Durant but also Harden won't be able to play. This means a lot for the team. Irving will be playing maybe as it is an away game. But I don't expect him to carry the team only by himself. So it looks like they could continue to lose.

I have started believing in Real Madrid more recently as I see their recent performance in many matches. However, they are facing a serious problem now. Benzema has got injured and he is expected to be come back on mid February at least. This is not a good signal for them as they are depending highly on him when it comes to scoring. But thankfully, they have Vinicius Junior too. He also has scored many goals so far and contributed to his team at a big rate. And I think that he would do his best if we don't see Benzema in the lineup in the first match of the draw. But PSG still would be a little ahead in Parc des Princes.

As the Liverpool players Mane and Salah are in the final in the AFCON tournament now, I wonder if they will be able to play in their next Premier League match against Leicester. I assume that Leicester would hope them not to play in this match. Because in the absence of these crucial players, Liverpool would have a hard time to win maybe. I still expect them to have a dominant game though. But their scoring many goals in this match is depending on these players' being able to win. In both cases, I still expect Liverpool to win of course.

Maybe Mauricio Pochettino wasn't a good choice for PSG. Good managers don't fit every team in the end. A manager who knows the environment well would be a better choice for a team in that league. The only question here could be: Will he have a good chemistry with Manchester United at the same time? And hopefully, yes. To tell the truth, Zinedine Zidane would still be my first choice because of his successes with Real Madrid but PSG would sign a deal with him most probably.

We will see how much Roma want the Champions League spot this season in their remaining Serie A matches. They are going to play against Genoa tomorrow and this should be the easiest match of the season for them. Genoa are the second worst team in the standings right now after Salernitana. They shouldn't even be able to compete with Roma much here. Roma should dominate both halves of the match and win a victory by at least a two-goal difference.

As we are talking about Roma's chances for this season, I believe that they are not a very trustworthy team first of all. They lost nearly the half of their matches played in the Serie A until this point. If we take this into account, it is not easy to believe in them for a Champions League spot. They don't seem to be better than Juventus and Atalanta for now. Consequently, Roma must do extra things to impress and make people believe in them to make it. Mourinho is not doing bad but this is not the best they can do at the same time.

Barcelona have newly signed Aubameyang actually so this looked interesting to me. Maybe they are thinking of a game plan with two strikers if they manage to sign Dybala. Then, it would be logical. But I don't think that Dybala would choose them as long as they are not his dream team or something like that. There are teams on the line like PSG, Inter and Chelsea. These are all attracting teams for so many players currently. And PSG would be one step ahead among them too. As Mbappe seems very likely to leave this summer, they can sign Dybala but it's doubtful if he can fill Mbappe's place well.

I'm contented with Dele Alli's making a decision for his future finally. He is still a player who is 25 years old. He still has time to go back to his old days but he needs time for that. I don't know how much good Dele Alli can be at Everton from now on. Because Everton are in a big trouble in the league now. At least, Dele Alli would have many more chances in the starting eleven. Even this is a big plus for him to show a good performance. If he isn't able to benefit from this chance, then I don't think that he can shine again in the future.

As Barcelona have Aubameyang from now on, I'm increasing my hopes about them for this season. I think that they are going to be much stronger in their offense as of now. And this would help them a great deal in the competition for finishing the season in top four in the standings. But the critical point here is whether Aubameyang will really meet the expectations. Because he had a really bad time at Arsenal lately and he was far away from his productive times. Barcelona will be hoping to see him starting to perform very well.

He still has a contract with Bayern Munich running until the summer of 2023 now. It is still early to talk about a probable transfer for him this summer. But if he doesn't extend his contract until that time, then I will start believing that he would leave the team before the next season. But his next station may not be Real Madrid if they sign Haaland.

Arsenal have only the Premier League left now. They have been eliminated from the EFL Cup and FA Cup so far. And their goal must be qualifying for the Champions League. They are strong enough to make it actually but they have really tough rivals aiming the same thing now. Hence, they will have to focus on playing more effective than them to achieve their goal. Fiorentina have lost one of their most important players in their history maybe. It is Dusan Vlahovic that I'm talking about. He is a very special centre-forward like Erling Haaland at Dortmund. Don't get me wrong at this point of course. I don't want to say that Vlahovic is as good as Haaland. I just want to underline the fact that Vlahovic is a wonderful striker now. Fiorentina are unhappy about this maybe but there is nothing to do for them now.

PSG got a really disappointing result two days ago in the Coupe de France. They lost their last 16 match against Nice by 6-5 by the penalty shoot-outs in Parc des Princes. They said goodbye to the tournament very early and this must be really worrying for them. Pochettino is already criticized and this incident has made things worse for him now. PSG would become the champions in the Ligue 1 easily but they should focus on the Champions League the most. It is their biggest chance to win in the end.
