101  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [FaucetHub] CoinHive multi-currency miner script for sale! on: March 12, 2018, 01:29:00 AM
Hey! Welcome to Bitcointalk. I hope you find a few buyers for your script. Will you be pushing out updates and supporting your script in the future?

One thing about Coinhive: it sucks. The payouts are bad, they have a ridiculous fee structure, and a very, very high minimum withdrawal. You should consider looking into WebMinePool. They have a higher payout than Coinhive (around twice as much per million hashes), no fees, and a payout straight to FaucetHub. No exchange fees and no commissions. I highly recommend looking into it.
102  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Is cryptomining.farm legit or a scam? on: March 10, 2018, 04:32:05 PM
hi guys i want to invest at the said link and i don't know if it is a scam or not? Please help thanks  Smiley

Any "cloud mining" site that does not have proof of mining is a definite scam. They guarantee profits. Many scammers make this claim to attract investors. Also, what cloud mining company has 15 year contracts? They will be gone long before then. Do not invest your money here, even if you do get paid out, this is a ponzi and will come crashing down eventually. It's not worth it.

104  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Mining Contract for BTCP on: March 08, 2018, 07:14:55 PM
The only altcoin mining contracts that payout in altcoins are most likely ponzi schemes. You're better off buying some btc (or the altcoin of your choice) right now because we're in a dip. Ride the wave. Your risk of losing funds are much lower if you just buy straight up. Let holding be the investment; it's less of a gamble.

106  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for a Middleman to place hedge bets [High Volume] on: March 08, 2018, 05:52:01 PM
Hi,posting a requirement here from one of my clients that I'm working as a developer for. From his exact words,

Quote
Looking for a middleman who would place hedge bets on betting exchanges such as betfair. BTC will be taken and escrowed from all of the parties involved. Minimum amount is 10,000$ with a maximum of 25,000$ looking for at least 100,000$.

We can go with forum escrows such as OgNasty/dooglus/etc (but an escrow with gambling knowledge is preferred)

If you're the one or know someone who is willing to do this, please send me a personal message and from there I'll hook you up with the concerned person. As I'm posting it myself,it is my sole responsibility to take care of the parties involved from my side and  make sure the required amounts are escrowed with a trusted party.

Sent a private message.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell about Bitcoin gambling site and your opinion & experience on: March 08, 2018, 05:40:39 PM
I would recommend not to play for bitcoin. It is better to play for Fiat money, because when playing for bitcoins, you have a very limited choice of slots/software providers. Only on Fiat money you can play the best games from NetEnt or Microgaming.

A lot of people prefer bitcoin because of anonymity. There are multiple dice sites at there that require no email verification, no identity verification, age restrictions, etc. Example

Fiat money casinos you often have to jump through a bunch of hoops to deposit and cashout. Bitcoin casinos need nothing but a btc address at the bare minimum.
108  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] YOLOdice.com Signature Campaign on: March 08, 2018, 05:20:11 PM
Hi,

we have moved everyone "up" in the spreadsheet, so that everyone got paid according to their current BT rank!

I am also thinking about re-opening the campaign to new members, just stay tuned.

Cheers,
Ethan

Hey Ethan,

I am quoting my application above to verify that I am still very interested in joining your signature campaign.

I am very interested in joining this campaign. According to your original post, it is full. However, when I look at the spreadsheet, there are open spots for members and full members. Are you not looking for members and full members anymore? I will run YD's signature just in case you can squeeze in one more member. I look forward to hearing from you!

BitcoinTalk Username: Coins4Days
YOLOdice user ID: 117461

Current Post Count (including this one): 362

Edit: I have removed the signature, but I am still interested in joining if there is any possibility.

If your campaign opens up and allows more members, I would be more than happy to join. The majority of my posts on Bitcointalk reside in micro earnings and the gambling section. I look forward to hearing from you.

Trusted feedback for this user: http://prntscr.com/io8fko

Be careful with this transaction, everyone. OP, based off of your past negative trust, how can you prove that you are not scamming anybody? Are you going to use a DT1 member as escrow? If you are so confident that your account will make more than what you are selling it for, why sell it in the first place?

Vouching for Cosmas' services. I have bought two hosting packs from him and plan on buying more in the future. He delivers on time, is very cooperative with payments, and is easy to talk to. Definitely recommend doing business with!

Have you tried adding a float tag?

Code:
[float=left][img]image_link_here[/img][/float]
[float=center][img]image_link_here[/img][/float]
[float=right][img]image_link_here[/img][/float]

just tried

looks horrible

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3073043.msg31664978#msg31664978

Shoot. Are you adding a line break in-between each image when you try to embed it? Let's go back to square one. Does your post look like:
Code:
[img]image_link_here[/img]
[img]image_link_here[/img]
[img]image_link_here[/img]

If so, perhaps changing that to this could fix it?

Code:
[img]image_link_here[/img][img]image_link_here[/img][img]image_link_here[/img]

I'm thinking that if there are no line breaks or spaces when trying to embed, it can work.

Very nice! These statistics are going to be interesting. Seeing your to-do list has filled my head with a few more ideas.

  • Would it be possible to have a crawler take all of this information and cross-reference merits to each day of the week?
  • Total number of merits given out by each rank. Let's see who utilizes merits the most.
  • Total number of merits given out across each board. This will help us see where most posts are getting recognized and show what boards receive the least love (or the most shitposts).
114  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How To Make Faucet Script on: March 06, 2018, 02:17:20 PM
Are you looking to build a faucet script completely from scratch or do you want to customize one that is already made? Building one from the ground up does not seem too easy in my eyes. I would guess it's written in C++ and HTML. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge in website design can help you out here.
I do not think you need C++ for a faucet.
Typically you would use html and php+mysql with api knowledge as a bare minimum

115  Economy / Goods / WTS Brand-New Green Bay Packers Tervis Cup on: March 05, 2018, 12:35:55 AM
Hey everyone! I am selling a brand new green bay packers beverage cup. The cup has never been used, it is still in the plastic seal from when it was bought (shown in pictures). The lid looks like it has a little cover similar used for coffee mugs. I am not 100% sure it is safe to microwave. My guess is it says whether it is or not on the bottom of the cup. The logo is very nice and authentic. This cup was bought from NFLShop back in November.

https://imgur.com/a/BRfBx

All of NFLShop's products are authentic! Although this cup itself is no longer on NFLShop, similar ones are going for a few dollars above what this one is listed at.
Price: $19.97 in BTC or ETH.

US Shipping is free, I will cover 25% of any international shipping. I will PM the winner to discuss shipping details and what address to send the funds to.

116  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [RoboMiner] another high paying miner on: March 04, 2018, 11:59:47 PM
Since today the site has been left without funds for a few hours I increased the payout to 335 sat/mh

I also implemented a basic api to get the current payout and the budget.
url: http://mining.btcarcade.xyz/api/status
Example: {"payout":335,"hashesBudget":2085736192}

How do you profit from people pointing their hashpower towards your stratum server? Anything >300 satoshi is out of this world...I am genuinely curious as to how you are not going bankrupt giving away payouts this high. Where is your margin?

118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Pool Profitability Chart - Nicehash vs Ahashpool vs MiningPoolHub on: March 01, 2018, 01:34:24 PM
Very interesting data!
I still strongly believe that nicehash fees are too high and I prefer to mine on pools on which I have better control.
But I agree that if you wanna easily mine BTC nicehash is definitely the best choice.

My opinion is just based on feelings and I did not gather detailed data as you did, so thank you.

Nicehash's fees have workarounds though if you live in certain places of the globe. For example, you can connect your Coinbase account to them and withdraw any earnings over 0.002 bitcoin with no fees. Then, once your earnings are in Coinbase, you can transfer them over to GDAX if you have an account there and send your bitcoin anywhere with no fees. The prerequisite though is you must have a verified account on Coinbases US-based exchange.

Otherwise, you are stuck paying a 5% fee if you are not a gigantic miner: https://www.nicehash.com/help/fees

5% is a high amount, I agree with you. However, Nicehash provides the most simple turn-key experience when it comes to mining. You don't have to know a thing to get into it. I used to mine with them, but some research has allowed me to move away and earn more on other pools.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining Pool Profitability Chart - Nicehash vs Ahashpool vs MiningPoolHub on: March 01, 2018, 01:08:29 PM

Here is hopefully a definitive answer to whether NiceHash is more or less profitable than some other popular multi-algo mining pools. I produced a chart (normalizing the start balance in each pool to zero) over the gains from a few days:

https://imgur.com/a/oiFdq
(monitoring was off between 5am and 8am on 21st February hence the slight jump there)

This data is a few days old now but the principle is valid.

Methodology:

One GTX 1070 per pool. All pools mined simultaneously.
All pools set to BTC payout where applicable.
Awesome Miner Professional Edition used as front-end. I selected miners that are benchmarked most profitable for each card as follows:
Excavator 1.4.4a - LyraREv2, Neoscrypt
CcMiner Alexis - Nist5, Quark, Qubit
DSTM Zcash Cuda Miner - Equihash (for me this is slightly faster than the EWBF version)
DaggerHashimoto / Ethhash - Claymore Dual Ethereum Miner
CcMiner - all other algorithms

The chart includes MPH's 0.9% + 0.2% exchange fees, and AHashPool's 1% fee. It does not include NiceHash's 2% fee as this is charged when disbersed to the internal wallet. None of the amounts consider any withdrawal fees.

The balances were obtained by querying each pool's API every 60 seconds.

There is no question that NiceHash is the most profitable "pool". It's interesting that so many experienced miners claim otherwise, as I've only been mining for two months myself and the data is available for all to see if you take the time to research it. NiceHash is - as others have mentioned - more profitable because buyers currently overpay for hashrate. The situation may or may not change in future.

Please note that the chart for AMD cards will look different, and also note that if you use NHM or NHLM you may not be using the most profitable back-end miner especially if you are mining Equihash or DaggerHashimoto.

Excavator specifically blocks use for mining on MPH so I made a workaround to enable that, so all miners were available for all pools.

Switching parameters:
- 15 minute interval
- 10% profit switch threshold

Hardware:
- 3x Asus GTX 1070 Dual OC
- 80% TDP, +90 core clock, +400 mem clock

For anyone considering switching to another pool, I hope this experiment helps inform your decisionmaking.

OP: https://www.reddit.com/r/NiceHash/comments/811wmo/mining_pool_profitability_chart/

This is some very nice data for profit switching miners. Use it to the best of your ability. It looks like Nicehash offers the best profits overall? OP has stated that they will retry this test with more GPUs when they get their hands on them in a few weeks.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I'm mining for 4 days. on: March 01, 2018, 05:04:22 AM
One of the things you can do without buying more components, is finding promising coin and mine it. If you do that and hold that coin, after some time you can sell it and earn money from price difference.
Also, you could find some coin with low difficulty and acceptable price, that after mining you could sell and start cryptocurrency trading. You can make some really nice money from it, and invest it in your mining rig.
could you please give us profitable new coins at the movement. may be some brand new ones ok.

Whattomine is your friend.
