Video interview with Brett Scott - Author, The Heretic's Guide to Global Finance I recorded an interview with Brett discussing the use cases for bitcoin as a currency outside the Global Financial System, but with a need for real world application. We talked about the psychological importance of using cash in a world that is becoming digital and, the role bitcoin can play in this case. We discussed how Bitcoin has allowed for our current generation to creatively think with regards to alternative currencies and, how the use of blockchain technology for voting can empower people worldwide. We also talked about Net Neutrality, how it is naive to think of the Internet as a human right and, the relation to Bitcoin. http://www.iamsatoshi.com/bitcoin-opened-generational-creative-horizon/

Before investing, the normal due diligence should be performed. Comparing Bitnews to other media entities, where a statement such as 'a lucid 15 year old' is used, and at the same time saying we 'have not demonstrated the ability to produce any material of worth', IMO is trolling. Our names are on the PDF used by fluffypony to make his comments. A simple Google search will provide the BG and the materials we have all produced.

First trailer to an upcoming (soon), short documentary from my 15 days Bitcoin-Kenya journey. http://www.iamsatoshi.com/kenya-bitcoin-revolution/The use of a digital form of money is embedded in the Kenyan society. Safaricom’s success in Kenya included a grand promotional campaign. Everyone gained trust in mobile payments after a colleague, friend or a cousin confirmed it was not a con. It is now as cheap as $40 to buy an Android OS phone in Kenya.

@RixDollar: Yes, half of Kenyans use it often. Everyone seem to accept it for payment (restaurants, taxis, supermarket, book stores etc.) The percentage of merchants accepting is nearly everyone already. I found out that the biggest growth was around 2011. MPESA launched publicly in 2007.
