A lot of money have been made in the latest bull run in bitcoin. Where's all that money going?
Cash out to fiat and pay the tax man or into the altcoins market for a second turn on the merry-go-round..
The bull market in alts is here already.

Last few days, I have seen a lot of altcoins that spiked 50% or more. I want to know of any altcoin that has upcoming events in few months that might moon them? I have about 30k that I want to invest ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . Here's my list of altcoins that I believe will go much, much higher from their current levels: 1. Sequence 2. Emercoin 3. Florincoin 4. Wings 5. Gridcoin 6. Circuits of Value 7. Bitcrystals All of them are just coming off their lows and are overdue for a pump. I've got skin in the game on these ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Interesting concept, will you be cooperating with brick and mortar banks to ensure there's a viable infrastructure around the project or will you be operating independently from the financial system?

Seeing how almost all replies in this thread are highly optimistic on the future price hike of BTC, the contrarian in me has to come out on the other side of the argument (at least somewhat..)
I think the current price level of BTC is a big deterrent for new investors, so there will probably be quite the bull run in altcoins in 2018, simply because more new people in crypto will bet that among the alts they can find if not the next BTC, then at least the next Ether.
Coupled with the prospect of BTC futures potentially having an effect on the price of BTC not unlike that seen in the precious metals market where big banks are doing some highly unsavoury backroom manipulations, I feel the road towards 100,000$ for a BTC may well be far less straight in trajectory than most here envision..

I have to agree with the premise of the OP. What's the ONE thing people haven't been able to do with bitcoins so far?
Shorting the market.
Why would big institutional players push their buddies on the CME to create a futures market for them? Think long and hard about that question.
Where's the BTC market MOST likely to go from here after weeks of relentless rallying?
I think there will be a massive dump right after the big boys are all set in their short futures positions, after all, they're the ones who have been buying bitcoins ever since Jamie Dimon sank the market for them earlier this year. His 'off-hand remark' was carefully timed and coordinated, believe me.
This type of manipulation exists in all markets, always have, always will.

I think buying altcoins in a completely random fashion may impede your profit substantially.
The simple strategy for outsized returns would be to look at each SOLID coin under 1$ on Coinmarketcap.com with a believable project/development team/hype and select those that are at or very near their all-,time lows.
That way at least you know you're not over- paying for them and the low valuation of the sub-1$ coins means your leverage is far better than when you invest in BTC or Ether, once the coins starts to rise.
Classic contrarian strategy, really, but since cryptos are in a beginning bull market by far the most effective way to really get those outsized returns, imo.
Also diversification, don't sink everything in one or two "sure bets". That's just gambling.
5-10 coins, equally weighted, should do the trick.

Personally, im late af to BTC but I managed to time the near EXACT bottom in the alts I'm holding right now. Have seen some nice mini pumps the last week or so, I expect a lot of liquidity moving from BTC into alts very soon.. When BTC starts to correct there's going to be a ton of funds that needs to be parked somewhere the IRS still have difficulty getting at it ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

This air drop ONLY lets you join if you spam your Facebook friends with their posts but you won't know until you're going through the signup process. Shitty gimmick ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

EDIT: I don't want to spam my Facebook with hundreds of posts about various air drops I'm joining, so after attempting to sign up for this kemcredit air drop it seems like I will NOT be allowed to join because of this. Would have been NICE to inform of this BEFORE I wasted my time signing up and following you on twitter, etc. Unfollowing ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

First off, thanks for posting in something other than Google translate English ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Secondly, having lost a SHIT TON of money to my first ex wife, I feel your pain. I actually think it's a ballsy move (no pun intended!) to do what you did and I'm rooting for you 1000%. I do think there's a real case to be made for byteball although I haven't researched the currency too thoroughly, so your write-up was pretty nice. On a side note: Don't exile yourself to your parents basement, get out and socialize and meet lots of hot women. As they always say, the best way of getting over someone, is by getting on top of someone else ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Wish you all the best in your endeavour!

I've been following this forum for a few weeks now and I'm honestly shocked as to how little 95% you know about economics or finance in general.
Tbh though, isn't that exactly the lure of the crypto market for experienced traders? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) There's always someone that has to take the other side of your trade...

This coin jumped high today, anybody know of any new developments with this coin?
Seems like it can easily go beyond 6000 satoshis judging from the chart, it's currently at 1513 on Bittrex.

Looking forward to the air drop, best of luck with the project!
