sorry for the delayed announcement.

First of all we have to tell you that we have to delay the release of Liberio.
I am going to explain why we have to go this way in the following sentences.

As we've published in the last weeks Liberio is using the "Liberio Protocol" based on the "ALQO-Net"-Protocol.
Both of those protocols are using End-To-End-Encryption and both of those protocols are communicating with the massive amount of masternodes out there.
That being said you might already know why we have to delay the release: The latest update we made including the Zerocoin-Implementation had some longer internal tests on our testnets as we had some issue with signing and verifying messages (specially transactions and masternode broadcast-messages).

To resolve those issues we've investigated the last couple of days and found a way to get rid of those failures in signing.
As I've already announced yesterday we've already got a running full-node with the upcoming protocol-version 70714 running on the main-net.

To check everything we set up a masternode on that given node and are still waiting for the first time it's going to show up in the "masternode winners" list.

Once our node is showing up in that list we are going to publish our 100%-finished commit of the new version.
We already applied for the Apple developer certification as well as the Google Playstore certification to be sure that there won't be any issue with our mobile-release of Liberio as well.

However - we are not able to provide a solution that is secure enough right now to release such a big thing like Liberio and decided to delay the Liberio-Release untill 51% of the network's masternodes are using the upcoming protocol-version.

Why do we think it's not secure enough to release Liberio right now?
- Our main goal is to be decentralized and with only one single full-node accepting the new protocol-version including the "Liberio Protocol" specially because that node is running on one of our servers it's not secure enough. We don't want to risk any loose, failures or connection issues as that single node might not be able to sustain all that traffic and is an easy target for DDOS which would kill our whole Liberio system.

Are the masternodes in any risk once Liberio is out? (I am scared as I heard DDOS)
- No. Masternodes are always publicly known. There is no risk of your node getting attacked randomly - at least not higher than it is right now. Liberio won't affect anything. The new version is even more secure and got an integrated DDOS-Protection.

When do you think we are able to see Liberio released?
- I don't want to tell a fixed date yet but as far as I know about 1000 masternodes are running on different hosting service like the Official Hosting Framework or any other. Those hosting-services might be faster updating all nodes which could get us those 51% of all masternodes using the new protocol-version in a very short period of time.

When is the deadline to update to the newest version?
- As always. Once we've released the new version (in the next couple of days) we are going to set exactly 14 days to update your node. After 14 days all nodes with the old protocol-version will be ignored and will not receive any rewards anymore.(bearbeitet)

When I update my node soon do I loose my masternode ranking?
- If you node is offline for less than 25 minutes your masternode rank won't get lost or reset. Most likely the update might only take about 1-2 minutes!

Are there still any bugs in the new version?
- For sure there are some visual bugs here and there - but everyone of the ALQO Dev Team can guarantee that the backend and core is working without any issues, exploits or anything that could harm the network or your funds.

Das Governance System ist online! Mit dem heutigen Tag ist es für uns als Community möglich mit jedem einzelnen ALQO, den wir besitzen über bestimmte Fragestellungen abzustimmen.
Aktuell gibts noch eine "Testwahl", mit der jeder das System ausprobieren kann.

A temporary 100% ALQO governance system is online. This system is not as convenient as it will be within the Liberio framework but it will enable us to have votings from now on. At the moment there is a "test vote" ongoing to check it out for everybody. To vote you just need to follow 7 simple steps.

Step 1:

Go to https://governance.alqo.org/ and click on the left navigation bar on "Voting"

Step 2:

Open your ALQO-Wallet. Go to "Send" and click the "Inputs"-Button. (This button might not be visible - to make it appear make sure you have the "Coin-Control Feature" activated.) In the "Coin Selection"-Window you can see all your wallets and their amount. This is important as your ALQO is equivalent of your voting power.

Copy the wallet address you want to vote with. If you have multiple addresses with ALQO on you can for sure vote with every single one!

Step 3:

Get back to the Governance-System and paste the ALQO-Address you decided to vote with. Clicking on "Submit" will show how much Voting Points you got. Make sure to choose on which vote you want to participate and also choose between the given options.

Step 4:

Copy the Voting-Message to your clipboard. This message includes your wallet-address, the vote you are participating on as well as the option you have chosen.

Step 5:

Back in your ALQO-Wallet, click on File -> Sign Message.

This will open a new window to sign messages based on your private-key. Please keep in mind that signing a message doesn't mean we or anyone else knows your private-key!

Step 6:

In the upper input-field you enter your wallet-address again you are trying to vote with.

Now paste in the Voting-Message in the big text-area and click on "Sign Message" to sign the message. This will proof you are the owner of the wallet-address.

Copy the Signature generated to your clipboard.

Step 7:

The last step is to get back to the Governance-System and enter the Voting Signature you just generated and paste it into the corresponding Voting Signature field.

To finalize your vote you now click on "Vote".

Nun ist es endlich soweit, ALQO hat ein deutsches Whitepaper. Durch die vielen Nachfragen ob denn das "deutsche" Projekt auch ein Whitepaper in Landessprache habe, freue ich mich euch heute dieses sharen zu dürfen.

Durch die Schnellebigkeit in unserer Branche könnten an wenigen Stellen schon wieder Ergänzungen vorgenommen werden aber das ist wohl ein Crypto inherentes "Problem" 

PoS is not yet active though implemented. The protocol will switch to PoS starting from block 475201 which should take place end of sept. start of oct.

At the moment there is a funding ongoing for 5 BTC to be raised for coinexchange.io listing. They've promised to list ALQO/BTC and ALQO/ETH for this fee.

Mittlerweile erreiche schon nicht mal mehr die HP. Man kann sich evtl. trösten damit, dass sie dran arbeiten aber naja... irgendwann stirbt die Hoffnung. ZeroCoin Implementation

What is ZeroCoin? What are the Pros and Cons? Is it optional? Which problems we were facing implementing it? When will ZeroCoin be available?

Zerocoin is ready! Its smoothly running on the testnet right now. There is some serious testing ongoing as it’s a protocol level implementation which could potentially screw up the whole blockchain. It will be released with the Liberio wallet latest. The team plans to release the protocol 1 or 2 weeks earlier with a new version of the Qt wallet.
Its faster, better and stronger than the actual coin mixing implementation. It will be the most recent version of the protocol with all the fixes implemented the other coins had problems with and some additional fixes by Kevin which leads the team to name it “zerocoin+”.

Coinfolium Major Update

What changes we made at the frontend? What changes were done at the backend? What about already existing portfolios at the current website version? What is coming in the future?

Coinfolium is almost done. Now running with a complete discrete database full of crypto data which will enable coinfolium to offer a lot more statistics and indights into the coin than before. Coinfolium will be a lean product which can be compared to the bigger players who provide portfolio managers and is inspired by and built for traders. With the already existing fanbase of coinfolium atm there is a lot to come in the future with this “planet” within the ALQO ecosystem.
Existing portfolios will be easily imported and also the classic (legacy) version will be available though they do not think it will be used very often anymore.

Community-Manager

Why we need more Community-Manager? What is their daily job? Did they get paid?

We definitely need more community managers as there is a constant inflow of new members into the community. Also to keep the chats clean of trolls and people who are simply not beneficial to the whole community. The future plans are to hire these people for them to become members of the core team. At the moment these guys (incl. me) are doing it for free and at least for my side I can state that this completely OK ;-)
So if you are interested in doing something for ALQO this is definetely a place to jump into!

ALQO Funding

What is the goal of the ALQO Funding project? What is going to be the first goal? Will the ALQO Funding project remain after the first goal?

Its decided to make the funding now instead of a developers fee. First target is 5BTC to get listed on coinexchange.io as they promised to give us a ALQO/BTC and ALQO/ETH pair for this amount of listing fee. Secondly there will be the funding of the listing fee for the next exchange. Funding will later also be used for advertising and marketing campaigns.

Governance (Voting System)

How is it going to work? When is the voting system going to be available?

Will be implemented soon and will work pretty easy as its built into the liberio wallet. You will have “vote points” according to your balance and you can distribute these vote points to the vote options you have for a topic.

DevFee
Are we still planning on a "developer"-fee? What are the pros and cons about develooper-fees in general? Why did we decide to try the ALQO Funding project first?

It has been decided not to introduce a dev fee. The way to go is funding first and if it will not work out then there needs to be another round of discussion around it but earliest when the governance system is 100% rolled out!

Exchanges

Are there any news? How many exchanges we are in contact right now? When is the next listing on a top50 exchange going to happen? Who paid for the listing-fee?

Team is on contact with 2 big exchanges (TOP50) whereas one will list ALQO in the end of February. Funding for this exchange will be asked for after the 5BTC have been raised for coinexchange.io.


Liberio

Whats the current progress? When it will be released?
 
Will be released in the end of February (date: feb 17th) with a major update! Liberio UI/UX is finished by 90%. Backend is ready so there is not much time needed anymore. There are going to be some screenshots available in the next days.

TestNet Release

Why are we releasing a testnet? When it will be released? How far the testnet will be ahead of the stable-branch?

Many community members and “outsiders” have asked about the missing commits in our github stable branch. Testnet was up to now kept privately but will released to the public in the next days. At the moment the testnet is probably 4 weeks ahead of the stable branch. Zerocoin is running and parts of liberio are in it already and you will be able to contribute to the testnet as soon as it is released.

Bitfineon

Whats the current progress? When Bitfineon will be published? Who will be invited to test the demo-version?

Will be the biggest planet in the ALQO ecosystem. We are making progress – there is going to be some bitfineon snippets (like screenshots) in the next weeks. There will be a demo version with “fake balances and coins” for us to check out the system how the trade engine works and how fast the system actually is. There will be people invited to test the demo version out. Release is expected in the first weeks of march after the focus to liberio shifts towards bitfineon.
Fiat trading will not be released with the first version of bitfineon. Fiat will be implemented as soon as the EU has figured out their crypto regulations but is expected to be not that far behind the initial realease.
Release date is not fixed but nothing has been changed: Q3/Q4 is the plan.

No you dont need any ALQO to start mining. Just need a wallet to create a receiving address to put into the miner conf.

Nun ich bin ja gespannt, wie lange die "few hours" noch so dauern werden... Mittlerweile sind es schon über 48 Stunden seitdem mir diese Nachricht angezeigt wird. Naja man kann alles aus verschiedenen Perspektiven betrachten :-)

mademanalex is madmanalex cause he stepped out of the project in november though I doubt he has ever been into it. And Yes ALQO has nothing new - really - nothing I mean really really nothing. Its like Microsoft Windows which was just a fork of DOS - nothing new.

As I know that there will be no discussion possible with you (all recent posts in any thread are just "madmanalex posts") I recommend strongly that you're going to watch the live dev team session announced for saturday.

Its recommended to set up a MN on a VPS. If you are doing it on your desktop PC I doubt it will be easily possible as every MN needs an own IP. Nevertheless if you manage to attach a seperate IP to your second MN you should be fine though I have no clue how to do it on a private desktop.
