When you decided to start mining you have a choice.
I. Mining using your own equipment.
In this case you can touch the equipment, resell it and actually do what you want with the equipment. But then there is a risk to run into a scam when buying an asic miner. Domestic mining also carries risks.
II. Cloud mining - that is to rent computing power from a large data center. In this case you do not need to bother with the purchase and maintenance of the miners, but there is a risk to get into a pyramid or run into a scam.
III. Buying a mining package in a company where the production of crypto-currency is integrated into the operating business, as we will do in EcoGEM Club. Hi, all!  Here's an update on what's going on with EcoGEM Club now.- So, the third week of private pre-sale of EcoGEM Club token will start from 26 of Feb 2018.
- There are some minor changes took place at the ecogem.club.
- The token logo is now chosen through the vote system which took place within Telegram EcoGEM Club channel (please follow the link and observe the results in there).
- The place for construction of the MPV site is now selected and redy for actions.
- Microelectronics repair shop is fully manned and ready to work.
- Laboratory of Renewable Energy Sources (Laboratory of Unconventional Methods of Generating Energy Sources) is not fully manned (3 specialists are working there) but has already produced first practical results in the field of electrical power generation method. That will be patented soon. The Lab is going to be more functional but this depends now of further financial supplies.
A few words about what EcoGEM Club is planning to do within the next week (till the end of Feb.).- Preparing for Pre-ICO (by the way, better to say not ICO but TGE - Token Generation Event).
- Continuing the private token pre-sale.
- Microelectronics repair shop - several videocards are under repair.
- The Lab - proceeding with the researches and the outstading MPV re. electrical power generation method.
- The EcoGEM Club site - is still under construction. To be completed with the additional info and translated.
- Personnel recruitment.
- Meetings, PR, etc.

Preliminary information
Today, a temporary token pre-EcoGEM has been finally issued for the project in the number of 2 million units with the possibility of extra emissions within limited time for the purposes of a closed presale. This token is later planned to be replaced with the EcoGEM token (due to the transition to a new platform).
Everyone may participate in the development of the project by purchasing a pre-EcoGEM token.
The procedure for obtaining tokens is not complicated: it is enough to have a Waves wallet, the address of which must be transferred to the EcoGEM Club Telegram group, or to me in the PM. Thanks for your kind comment! The building costs are really huge and they only seem to be such at the first sight in comparison with the coming profits out of services of the Project. Now i would like to point out on a growing demand of blockchain support in regard to energy consumption. As a fact, every transaction only on btc blockchain now costs the same as approx 10 American households daily. That's too much, isn't? To compare, in 2015 the figure was about 1.6, so the power consumption ONLY on btc blockchain increased ~×6 times for the past two years... More over power costs are climbing up. Look at diagrams at Google, for instance. They show a kwh price spike. So, here is the tendency and I believe it'll get even more hot in years. But bearing in mind all shortly described above, it means that the current cost for the building of the whole Project would be returned ~5 times faster in another 2+ years then it would may happen during the last years, for example. Another peculiar note: everything is getting expensive concerning blockchain market: electricity, hosting for miners, the equpments, personnel, etc. So, the quicker we install at least the first spread of the Project, the cheaper it would be and more profits it'll generate for everybody involved in it. Ref. EcoGem project, the price per each kw/h is fixed and is subject to no change at a whole timeline of the project and is firmly stated as "0.05USD". How do you find this price? |

I am personally convinced. And it was said like that because most of the men are too busy these days trying to understand the new shape of crypto-economics, lets name it as "the economics of ver.2", and use it properly. Speaking about your question re. investing... it's up to you and others to decide. That's why I've given the links on the top for observation and discussion.
