101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Love really exist ? on: August 26, 2017, 01:58:32 PM
Love is intangible thing, you may not see nor touch but you may feel it at any moment. There's a lot of definition about Love and every individual are inevitable of feeling of it. The time we were born.. Love is already exist. .. In the beginning we've raised by our parents, they extend their efforts, sacrifices, passion, affection.. all the things we' go through and what we are now, is the product of Love..  Smiley Smiley

Right! And love is probably what will save us when things take a turn for the worse in today's happenings. You can see it in the news. During calamities, people who doesn't even know each other risk their lives to save someone in need, people risking going to war torn and terror infested places to deliver food and goods, having each other's backs without having any relation to one another. Its evrywhere and i think in a world full of hate, love is what we need to get back on the right track

Exactly, I also think that love exist. We can feel it in our daily routine life. There could be love among family members, with our pets and our office colleagues; some people are also fallen in love with the art, sports and nature. There could be many version of love; bottom of the line is love do exist.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: August 26, 2017, 01:51:51 PM
I will do trading.Because trading is more safe investment than gambling.Gambling just depends on luck. But if you are well known of trading and have a good strategy you can make profit. And I saw many people became rich by trading, but didn't found many one who rich for gambling. So,I prefer trading.

Investment is risky but gambling is riskier and you had the right choice of trading. Every gambler knows how to recover their loss by gambling again. But if you know how to trade and you decided to do it so for sure you will be at the right place to make decent profit. Trading is a good way to reach your dream of becoming a rich one.

I think no much gamblers know how to recover their loss from gambling again. if they know this method, then they will not switch to trading to recover their loss. There are many gamblers are following this method. And this method will make them to addict to gambling. If you addicted to trading no problem, you would learn the market skills, and it will help you to make money. But if you addict to gambling it will spoil your life.

The method is very simple, to gamble again and that's how every gambler is recovering their losses. We are already expecting if gamblers will have a the same way of recovering their losses by gambling again, then you have the expectation right. But if you are a gambler and you know how to recover your losses by having some investments, it's better.

Are you sure that every gambler is recovering their money from gambling again?

If you follow that method then mostly you lose all your money in gambling and end up nothing. That is the most dangerous thing to do in gambling. Better you find some other ways of investments to recover your gambling losses and don't ever go to gambling to get back your lost money.

Yes they are recovering that way, what can you think about a gambler to recover with his losses by selling the goods that he owns. I know that you know it that this is the very popular that what gamblers are doing, they keep on gambling repetitively and they are realizing that investment is a good way to use their money but it's too late for them because they lost all their money with gambling.

There are few professional gamblers who are able to live by the earning of gambling only. But its not possible to everyone and its really impossible to recover back the loss in the gambling. I would also suggest its better to invest rather loosing the money into the gambling. If someone is playing for fun and if he can afford to loose the certain money then its absolutely fine.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when we hit 21,000,000 bitcoins? on: August 26, 2017, 01:39:51 PM
It won't happen mining the last few coins can take months because by that time difficulty would have gone really high and many won't mine the remaining coins because of less profitability.
About the price it should go high because the only way get btc after everything is mined is by buying or earning.

Agreed with you, by each passing day the difficulty in the mining process will be increased and there will be less profit to the miners. So the small group of miners will stay away from the mining as they will not afford it. It is expected to mine all the bitcoins by the year 2140, its a very long period. During this time, the value of bitcoins could be hit the sky.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should focus more on saving bitcoins than selling your bitcoins on: August 26, 2017, 01:31:13 PM
Bitcoin has become the world most valuable asset and the value keeps going higher!

Why not we should focus on saving more bitcoins than selling our last remaining bitcoins?

I read and hear from a lot of guys owning bitcoin saying, should I sell my bitcoins?

The issues is, if you sell all your bitcoins when are you going to buy at lower price?

There's no guarantee when exactly bitcoin price will surely come down.

Share your thoughts about what you think guys. Smiley

Yeah, its really difficult to predict that, when the price of the bitcoins will fall in order to get buying opportunities. I feel everyone should save their bitcoins for longer period if they wish to receive maximum profit. There is no point of selling the bitcoins unless there is any really emergency like situation.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates on Bitcoin on: August 26, 2017, 01:25:54 PM
Wow I think the quote from Bill Gates about bitcoin will affect many people about bitcoin existence in Internet, because Bill Gates is known as a genius and has a good reputation in internet. And maybe this will be a lot of people who want to find out about bitcoin because of the words of Bill Gates who say that Bitcoin is the future and it's better than currency.

Yes, Bill Gates knows it better than others. I have also seen the video of Bill Gates in which he is showing his faith on the bitcoins. There are many influential people who has praised the bitcoins in the past. Have a look at the video

106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 26, 2017, 01:15:42 PM
There are many crypto currencies but none of them can replace Bitcoin atleast not is this century as none them are capable enough. To replace Bitcoin, crpyto currency should be as popular and in demand as bitcoin is because all crypto currency depends on people's demand. But anything can happen in future as a better crypto currency may form with better features than Bitcoin then it can replace Bitcoin.

Yes, there are many crypto currencies which came after the bitcoins but all failed to match the bitcoins. ETH is performing well but it is far behind and there no chance for ETH to replace the bitcoins. Infact, there are many coins which are already dead in the cryptomarket.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: August 26, 2017, 01:09:34 PM
The power of bitcoin is the number of developers (wallet providers), they actually make bitcoin great, but I'm sure all things can happen ETH is a very good coin to beat bitcoin.

Bitcoin will always be bitcoin and as such as prime coin he will always be most worth. Everything else is attempt to beat bitcoin in price and everything else. Always will be some coin that is close or near to beat him, but eventually bitcoin will be prime always. ETH is good examples that will come "maybe" near but this will remain on word "maybe".

Agreed with you. At the moment, nothing can replace the bitcoins as it has earned that reputation over the years. Going forward the price of the bitcoins will keep increasing and if any alt gives the competition just like eth, it will be really difficult for them to match up the popularity of bitcoins.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and governments on: August 26, 2017, 01:03:05 PM
Hi btkers , discussion about the relationship between governments and cryptocurrencies.
Why don't governments officialise the use of cryptocurrencies .
Can these cryptocurrencies affect countries economy?

Many countries government have already started the studies for the possibilities of regularizing the bitcoins. As the bitcoin is decentralized currency, there is no control of any government which is the main problem for the government approval. There is also fear among the governments regarding parallel economy which has no control of government.
109  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to win Bitcoins with Signature Campaigns ??? on: August 25, 2017, 07:23:11 PM
Hello.
I'm looking for effective ways to win Bitcoins. So I would like to know how to join Signature Campaigns ??
Help me understand the procedures and sites where you need to have Signature Campaigns to win Bitcoins.

Thank you for helping me understand how it works.
Please, be clarified that joining signature campaigns does not actually give you the chance to WIN bitcoins, instead, it pays you SATOSHIS as SALARY. You need to post the required number of posts in a week and follow the rules depending on the signature campaign that you joined. In other words, you EARN SATOSHIS from signature campaigns, not WIN BITCOINS.
Signature campaigns give the opportunity to earn Satoshis or indirectly bitcoins whereas if you want to win bitcoins, a person can play some games or do gambling. But as a newbie, it is best to earn bitcoins without any investment. This forum itself provides you with the biggest opportunities of earning bitcoins.

Exactly, in the signature campaigns people gets paid in the bitcoins for providing their service to promote the business. There is nothing like gambling or winning the bitcoins in signature campaigns, you have to earn it by doing some work.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: August 25, 2017, 07:04:57 PM
I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

I do not prefer you to keep your Bitcoins is online sites like that. It is even better to keep them in an online wallet comparatively , but keeping them is offline wallets is the best. And storing them in different wallets is also better

I am also keeping my bitcoins into the different wallets for the security purpose. I prefer blockchain wallet as their wallets are highly trusted and secured if we compared with others. Some people are also using the offline wallets in order to avoid the online theft.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: August 25, 2017, 03:54:59 PM
I think bitcoin is more popular in Asia if we compare with the rest of the world. Japan and South Korea are leading the bitcoin market not only in Asia but also worldwide; wherein India, china and Philippines are also playing major role to influence the bitcoin market in asia. There are many speculations that current rise in the bitcoin prices are the bubbles driven by the asian countries and soon there will be correction in the bitcoin market; but there is no authenticity in the claim.
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: predictions of the price of a Bitcoin by the end of 2017 on: August 25, 2017, 03:32:13 PM
How much do you think a single Bitcoin will be worth when we celebrate the New Year?

I am estimating that it will be around 8k (no evidence just a gut feeling), i think it will fluctuate and go higher but will stablise at 8.

I think it will be around 6000 $. If we follow the current trend , then it is expected that bitcoins will reach the 5000$ mark by the end of next month; currently it is trading at 4400$. As per my gut feeling, the price will hit 7000$ mark and then will be stable around 6000$.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 25, 2017, 03:19:29 PM
Even after the good bowling performance from Dananjaya other bowlers were not able to support and take last 3 wickets. India side Dhoni gave a good support and Bhuveshwar played really well and used all bad balls to score and both of them gave a record 8th wicket partnership and won the match. Now i think no one will question Dhoni position in the team as he is the one who is giving support when ever needed.

Again Dhoni has proved that he is a good finisher after a long time. It was an outstanding performance from Dhoni and Bhuveshwar Kumar in 8th wicket partnerships. This is what SL need to learn because I didn't see in both test and one-day matches they never really try to build good partnerships. Anyway, yesterday it was much better performance compared to all previous matches but they couldn't turn the performance into winning the match.
This is why India needs Dhoni , he gives valuable advice while bowling and he plays important knock when the team needs . Can't take away Bhuvaneshwar's credits , he was awesome . I feel bad for Dananjaya though , what a spell .
Yes, in my view the majority of the credit goes to Bhuvaneswar Kumar, because Sri Lankan bowlers were quite confident in winning the match after they took the wicket of Pandya. Maybe the final match will be a hard one for India as Sri Lanka tries much harder to make at least a win.

No doubt Kumar played a very crucial innings to make India win the match from almost lost position. But the actual binding of his innings was none other than Dhoni. His experience and guidance made the Bhuvaneshwar batting more easy and constant nurturing and speaking to him helped him attain this feet. Indeed Dhoni is still the master class among the lot.

As per me, Bhuvneshwar Kumar should be given the credit for India's win; his partnership with dhoni made the difference. Sri Lanka was already out of the contest when they failed to score decent score in the first inning, it was a extraordinary spell from the Dananjaya who kept Sri Lankas hope alive.

115  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: August 24, 2017, 02:03:43 PM
Quote
1. It’s gaining mainstream credibility as industry players consider it as the new gold – Bitcoin has many of the same qualities of gold, whose value is not controlled by governments.

2. Many investors and finance industry experts are serious about the promise of Bitcoin – A large number of mainstream investors and entrepreneurs already consider Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a legitimate asset class.

3. There is only a limited amount of Bitcoin – There are only 21 million Bitcoin tokens to be mined and no new tokens will appear until after 2140. This makes Bitcoin a deflationary currency whose value increases naturally with time.

Source here.

These are interesting big reasons why it is so wise to invest in Bitcoin. I am sure that many people are still doubting Bitcoin whether it can be a good investment vehicle or it is just another risky venture that can collapse anytime. Of course, we know better. So in case someone would be asking you this same question, you just have to enumerate the three big reasons above.

Agreed with you, but i think there are many reasons to invest into the bitcoins. But the reasons mentioned by you are the most important to have trust and belief in the bitcoins. People have started accepting the idea of digital money and the popularity of the bitcoins will be increasing in future also.
116  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Mind Reading Possible? on: August 24, 2017, 01:25:19 PM
I have seen this video, where it claims that Mind Reading technology is possible:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kGZemt2P9M

Quote
Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University recently made a scientific breakthrough using machine algorithms to accurately guess what people are thinking. In other words, as the university referred to it, they have “harness[ed] ‘mind reading’ technology to decode complex thoughts.”

Quote
“Predicting the Brain Activation Pattern Associated With the Propositional Content of a Sentence: Modeling Neural Representations of Events and States”

What is your opinion about these news? Is Mind Reading Possible? And how it will affect Bitcoin private keys? How will this affect the passwords that you hold in your brain?

I think that mind reading is impossible however it is possible to deduce what that mind is thinking through scientific or body language and guesswork. However I can't think of a device that currently can read or might read a mind through its wavelengths and accurately read it.

I don't think that mind reading is possible with the use of any kind of technology. We could only guess by observing the people's behavior and their face expression while talking . There are some claims that people have developed the technology but it lacks the accountability.
117  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: August 24, 2017, 01:19:19 PM
I totally agree with the death penalty for a rapist. Rape is a very cruel crime. The people who disagree with the death penalty on the basis of the human right to live. But damaging a woman, does not it violate human rights?

You need to remember a very important fact. Nowadays, the extreme left is only interested in the human rights of the criminals and the terrorists. They will defend a rapist who violated a 12-year old girl. But they will never defend the 12-year old girl or console her. That's the way left-wing extremism works.

I also agree that punishment for the rapist should be death penalty only. There should be strict law for the rapist as we have seen many times that criminals have narrow space to escape due to flaws in the judiciary system.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 24, 2017, 01:03:53 PM
The match is nearing the end. Sri Lanka has made a score of 212 with just five overs left. So the winning for India is confirmed. This make India to lead the series and possibly India once again makes a historical win in the foreign tour than the home ground wins.

Sri Lankan batters failed again to post the competitive score in the second ODI as well. Siriwardana and Kapugedera hold the wickets for some time and scored some important runs but its not enough. SL have scored only 236 runs from the 50 overs and now the target for India will be 237 which would be very easy for India. India is all set to take a lead by 2-0 in this series of 5 ODI's.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: August 24, 2017, 12:04:30 PM
As I observe bitcoin is already available worldwide but not globally accepted. In some countries bitcoin is not yet fully accepted in exchange of goods and services. Maybe after 5-10years there is development that it will used internationally.
Maybe you're right, As a very popular cryptocurrency bitcoin should wait some years to be an international currency and all countries will start use it around the globe. Because until this moment, there is some countries didn't accept bitcoin like a method of payment. So my prediction is, after 2020 bitcoin will be used in the whole world.

Agreed with you, bitcoin is doing really well and its user base is also increasing by each passing day. Being a first crypotocurrency, bitcoin has shown tremendous growth since 2009. As per me, btcoin is already a international currency as it has been used worldwide. I think within 5 years, it would be recognized globally as a international currency.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Endless Possibilities on: August 24, 2017, 11:52:08 AM
I've seen lots of topics in the forum about bitcoins already thus made me think that in Bitcoins there are endless possiblities.

- Bitcoin and Internet

Well, provided that BTC is an online cryptocurrency and the question about internet being gone totally...hmmmm...

- Bitcoin and Hidden Identitiy

In Bitcoin, nobody will know who you are if you choose not to be known. So everything is possible, illegal trades, criminality etc.

Those are just few topics.. there are more and more... Endless Questions... Endless Topics...Endless Possibilities..

This forum is fun and worth reading :-)

It is certainly a pleasure to read through some of the threads here that encompass a great variety of opinion. Some questions deal with purely theoretical matters such as the disappearance of the Internet, others are concerned with topical problems. It saddens me that bitcoins can be used for criminal activities. Apparently, this is the downside of bitcoin and the very logical loophole in its set values. I guess we have to take the rough with the smooth and just accept it for what it is. If some legal enforcement is processed to fight the criminality, the very essence of bitcoin will be lost. It just won't be what it is anymore.

Exactly, there are different opinions of different people and this forum has helped to gather the bitcoin users and believers. There has been so much talked about bitcoins; from being digital gold to dead coin. There are many discussions threads wherein we can see the serious and concrete discussion about the present and future of the bitcoins. I am glad to be a part of this innovative and growing community.
