101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ZeusMiner] GEN III MINER-VOLCANO Pre-order Now!! on: September 09, 2014, 10:37:33 AM
Is there any way to calculate the difficulties?  Would be grateful if anyone recommend a website link for me.
I think it would be too hard to calculate. With KNC releasing 200-400 MH/s hardware, Bitmain scrypt miners trickling out at (or before) the time of Zeus, and GAW's cloud service leasing out 100-500 MH/s units, there will likely be an unprecedented hike in difficulty between now and January of 2015 . Considering that LTC is currently priced is at 0.0105 BTC, it seems irrational to even consider the idea of this as an investment.

Where are people mining this coin?? Sifting through the first five or six pages turns up the following pools:

http://omargpools.ca/cloak
https://cloak.suprnova.cc
http://cloak.v2.dedicatedpool.com
https://cloak.maxminers.net

All return 404 or contain the following notice:

Can this coin still be solo mined with a 20-30 mh/s rig?
103  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [In Stock] Batch 8! Gridseed miners in Stock in Los Angeles. [$225] on: June 23, 2014, 07:52:56 AM
We've been trying to implement better rewards for our customers than just coupons, but that hasn't been finalized and I'm sure you just want to purchase your ASIC.

What have you tried (or thought of trying)? IMO there's no need to one-up the coupon system, but at the very least just, validate the circulating ZoomPoints by making them worth something. The only thing worse than not implementing better rewards is offering no rewards.
104  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Prices dropped on EVERYTHING for Scrypt ASICs. AHHHHHHH! on: June 20, 2014, 01:38:47 AM
Is there a purpose to accumulating ZoomPoints rewards? I've spent a fair amount of cash & btc and have accumulated over 60k points, but there's never a reward. Today got an email that Reward Redemptions are available, but there's only for one reward for $10. Can I redeem this same reward x6 (six times) for a single purchase? Thanks.

PS Other than this point system, I have nothing but good things to say about Zoomhash; your deliveries have always been prompt and prices are great.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GRIDSEED G-BLADE Overclocking 7Mh/s on: June 15, 2014, 08:47:37 AM
Thanks for your help. Here is a high-res photo of the pcb area behind the connector. I didn't mod it myself, I got it from Zoomhash and I'm under the impression that 7gnomes did the volt mod.
The clicking seems to come from the DC jack... I can sort of feel it vibrating the DC connector when I connect it to the pcb jack. Hopefully this photo reveals something. Thanks again.

106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GRIDSEED G-BLADE Overclocking 7Mh/s on: June 15, 2014, 01:19:08 AM
Can anyone speculate on this? One of my overclocked blades won't mine on one of the two panels. There is a rapid "clicking" sound now when i connect the DC connector to it, after a couple of minute the sound goes away. Does this usually indicate something? Thanks.

Am I missing something?  Huh
The aforementioned retailer merits the same degree of assurance: "You don't have to worry about your bitcoins being just taken away without delivering the stuff."
Additionally, the said retailer ships from USA as they are based in CA. This kind of debunks your second and third claims. I'm not trying to come down on your sales pitch; I'm actually hoping that you can clarify any misconceptions I have made as I am interested in buying seeders. Thanks mate.

Is there still talk of adding TIPS?
109  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-e funds being held by PayPal on: January 09, 2014, 06:54:37 AM
Good news regarding this issue... Someone from BTC-e support responded to one of my many support tickets (which I placed weeks ago), stating that the money was re-sent to my PayPal account. The money was, in fact, re-delivered to PayPal and I have since successfully withdrawn said funds to my bank account.
110  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-e funds being held by PayPal on: December 22, 2013, 12:09:51 AM
Well after weeks of waiting for a settlement over my withheld payment, today PayPal has reversed the payment and sent the money back to BTC-e. Any help from BTC-e over the last couple of weeks would have greatly appreciated, and I would like to believe that they will respond to the support ticket which I submitted today... but obviously such help is asking too much. Apparently BTC-e has no intention of upholding their end of this deal. If they do decide to cooperate, I will gladly update my posts regarding their reliability, but until then, I advise people to steer clear of BTC-e as they are either fraudulent or negligent in their business transactions.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC-E- withdrawing USD to paypal on: December 21, 2013, 11:51:55 PM
I would advise against BTC-e PayPal transactions (and BTC-e in general) as I have been waiting for my payment from BTC-e for weeks now. PayPal had their payment on hold for over two weeks over a dispute, and today, they reversed the payment and sent the money back to them. I am still waiting for BTC-e support... so unless they miraculously contact me and straighten this matter out (which they should have done weeks ago)... I would not trust (or rely on) BTC-e to fulfill their payment.

A few days ago someone from BTC-e contacted me via email, stating that the payment was re-sent. The payment was indeed sent, and PayPal allowed me to cashed-out w/o problems.
112  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get BTC-e to respond to support tickets? on: December 17, 2013, 10:49:39 PM
I have received zero support from BTC-e regarding a withdraw that was put on hold by PayPal immediately after receiving my funds in my account. It's been on hold for over a week now...
113  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Powered Risers @ Cryptocables - Official Feedback, CS, Q&A Thread on: December 12, 2013, 10:43:50 PM
Just want to say thanks for the riser cables; my order was shipped out same day as purchased and I'm very pleased with both the cables and your service. I'll be returning for future purchases. Thanks again!
114  Economy / Service Discussion / BTC-e funds being held by PayPal on: December 12, 2013, 12:27:13 PM
So I sold $600.00 on BTC-e and cashed-out via USD PayPal. A few days later the money arrives in my PayPal account, however, the day after receiving the money the funds are put on hold (that is to say, subtracted from my account). The email I received from PayPal states: "You have received a payment that we believe may not have been authorized by the PayPal account holder..." While awaiting for PayPal to arbitrate this dispute, I'm reading tons of negative feedback about BTC-e fraud and my hopes of receiving these funds unscathed is rapidly diminishing. Is there anything I can do (or not do, for that matter) to help my odds at this point? Thanks for your feedback.
115  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 2 R9 290's acting weird? on: December 01, 2013, 12:02:16 PM
I also have two MSI 290's and every time I exit/quit cgminer my computer also crashes. I've tested them on Ubuntu and Windows 7: both produce a crash (BSoD in Windows). I'm hoping it's a driver issue that will be corrected soon.
