101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] CROM - TRANSPARENCY, TRUST AND LIQUIDITY IN PERFORMANCE MARKETING on: November 21, 2017, 03:31:01 PM

once again i agree. Bonusses are a great way to attract investors. but the 25% is pretty modest compared to most ICO's where they offer 40% or even more, those bonus structures cause a big dip after listing. thats why im pretty optimistic about the 25% bonus.

I'm not sure, I think the biggest bonus I've received from an ICO is 25% and that was from the Change Coin (CAG) main sale.

At the time it seemed a bit too high to me, don't get me wrong it was great getting all the extra tokens for free, but I didn't really feel like I earned that bonus.

They were also offering up to 35% for the pre-ICO and it did work incredibly well for them, they raised around $17.5M USD in total and they ran the token sale for about a month.

It would be amazing if CROM could reach a similar level, I think with a bit more input from the marketing/advertising team with regard to facebook/twitter/youtube adverts and posts we could potentially reach it.

I would like to see a counter on the home page showing how much has been invested, that would be great and makes the project very transparent to it's investors.

only a matter of time before we will know it. I do agree however, that a counter would be great. As stimuli for other investors to invest and to emphasize what they are trying to sell: transparancy

Will your token  be a highly volatile currency?

Yep, just look at this project. Experienced team, great ICO company, advertisement giants have already revealed interest to CROM. If I understand correctly, the price will always rising!

In general crypto currencies are highly volatile. Be it bitcoin, any other coins or any tokens. Some turns are 100+ % up or down in a single day. Given the ATTRACTIVE business and roadmap of CROM, the volatality should be less after initial days.

also take into account the pricing of CROM, with 10m supply and 3,5 dollar value it makes the project have an value of around 35m. Still somewhat on the low side and thus huge potential to grow. Also the bonusses are more limited in the CROM sale which should limit the free coin dump at the start of listing Smiley

Limited bonuses will have advantage as well as disadvantage. When ICO is successsful and CROM's strategy is implemented in a right way, then CROM will give huge profit to its investors. Given the experience team of the CROM and its nature of getting into lots of partnership contracts, any targets on their raodmap is achievable.

Yeah the bonuses will have an advantage because you could argue that some people will only invest because of the 25% bonus, due to the nature of the ICO market. However, it can cause the coin to crash in price when it gets listed because people, will move their 'bonus' or 'bounty' tokens and dump them for a profit.

I saw Vitalik Buterin (co-founder of Ethereum) put up a tweet the other day saying that he disagrees that projects should offer bonuses during their ICO's because they dont understand 'the egalitarian spirit of crypto'. Which to me is a load of crap, I think bonuses are a great way of attracting new investors especially when it's a legit project like CROMHub .

once again i agree. Bonusses are a great way to attract investors. but the 25% is pretty modest compared to most ICO's where they offer 40% or even more, those bonus structures cause a big dip after listing. thats why im pretty optimistic about the 25% bonus.

exactly what i was saying indeed. offcourse it has its disadvantages; like not market it well enough. But as far as i have seen, they got a decent amount of promoters already.

This ico is been taking care of pretty good. As example there is a whitepaper and some social media. But maybe make a video about CROM? that would probably get more people to use it.

I have seen this suggestion a couple number of times now in this thread. Don't really know if it has been same person posting it over and over again shall because i really didn't take note of the username but am beginning to think its is high time CROM starts adding this to their todo list. If not now but they should consider doing it as youtube can be another source of traffic.

yea, i have seen it too. i believe it are some different people though. But i got to agree, some video's would be nice to have. Multi-channel marketing is in my eyes the best marketing.

in the last couple of days we have been discussing quite alot, and also had alot of questions which we would have liked CROM to answer..
I know u guys are busy, but it would be great if u answered some of our questions that has been asked the last couple of days

I agree sometimes they don't answer, but i also saw them reply to some questions i think that they follow this topic, but they answer good questions mostly.

i know they are active here. but as far as i have seen they only answered the same question a couple of times and that is 'when will the ICO start?'. the answer is public knowledge, other questions we have been asking is not public knowledge and has not yet been take the time for to reply. as i stated before i get that they are busy but i would still like them to take some time to answer a few Wink

Damn, Why such a low rating for the product and team? Anyone got a link towards the rating?

We moved the CROM bounty campaign to the next step!

The Affiliate Program is here!

We want to reward you for spreading the word about the CROM ICO. Earn 2% of the amount invested from your affiliate links in CROM tokens.

Whenever a contribution is made by a person registered through your affiliate link the smart contract will send 2% on top of that contribution to your wallet address. So if somebody buys 100 tokens, we send another 2 to your wallet.

And let me repeat this: There is no limit! Also don't forget that there is a 25% bonus on tokens during the pre-ICO.

How To?
  • Join the affiliate program at www.cromhub.com/bounty
  • Enter your email and ether wallet address
  • Click “Generate Affiliate Link”
  • Share the link with your friends, community, neighbors, partners ...

Hey Devs,

I have been waiting for this. Very fair of you to let us have part in the project on this way. Will there be a multi-level opportunity in the course of the deal?

YS Crypto

what do you mean with a Multi-level opportunity? Like you get 2% for every person you bring in and every person those persons bring in you also get like 0.5% or something?

Find 2% are a fair offer. Will try to find many interested parties. Thanks to social media, there should be something to do there. I am generally a friend of affiliate programs

Indeed, not too high so it filters out promoters whom are looking for a quick payday. Now you will remain with the Well informed promoters who genuinly believe in the project. Also a good thing for image.

2% is indeed not that much.. however i like the fact that the bonusses are not that high. It limits the amount of price drop you get after listing due to the amount of free tokens given. Thus limiting the bonus makes the token more stablr
No price drop! we all hope that the price will only grow! That's why we are here, success is inevitable))

Sure, But even the best coins have a price drop after listing due to usually the massive amount of free tokens given for promotion that those people immediatly sell after listing. After that the price stays steady at a low range and will Spike after that. I believe they are Doing the right thing to still offer an incentive to promote their coin but still manage to protect it from this marketmovement.

GUYS a little concern from me. Was thinking of the pre-ICO price, 0.01ETh per coin and minimum investment being 10ETH, Don't we think this is in one way or the other high?? I fear it might sound a little bit too desperate though. I stand to be corrected but just trying to see if that can be looked into. or maybe i don't understand it's essence to the whole think yet. will be glad if someone can clear my misunderstanding (just incase it is). Thanks

I agree with the minimum of 10 ETH is a tad bit over the top, 5 ETH sounds fair and still high enough amount to let people stay commited to the project. The price per coin might seem a bit high indeed. However, they already consolidate strong partnerships before the ICO even starts, this adds value to the project. Next to that, they got a supply of 10 million tokens. So it would mean that their marketcap value must be atleast 33million which in my eyes is not entirely unrealistic. It would have been smarter perhaps to make the price a bit lower, but its a bit too late to change that now...

alright. Making more sense now. I just wanted to be sure anyway that i am not the only one seeing it that way. i hope it all plays out for them according to plans/speculations else it might turn out to be an issue to deal with  i think.

No problem, its a common mistake to look at the token price thinking it would be too much. Its essential to look at the big picture.

Who knows, can we see how much money was collected? Is the address of the smart contract public or private? In addition, it would be great to add the project to various ICO trackers.

I am curious too about how Well their pre-ICO is going. Isn't there a counter or something which is tracking it?

I also did not quite understand why such a high amount (10 ETH) for presale. This factor reduces the number of investors, am I not right?

it sure does, maybe that was their whole point. For the pre ICO they wanted to limit their sales for a limited amount of big time investors whom don't do big sell offs after listing but truly believe in what they are trying to believe.

All this is just speculation, so i would like to hear about it from CROM itself.

Some companies heard our discussions in this forum it seems. Today I have seen companies selling their tokens for fiat currencies. Some announced their co-operation with paypal. CROM team should cosnider this option and go ahead with it. Like somebody said in this forum, this will prevent people from dumping the tokens after listing.

Lets hear from CROM team what they think about it?

sounds awesome if other ICO's already took note of our suggestions. i still stand behind my fiat suggestion. In the telegram app victor already assured me they would take it into account to make the blogs a bit more approachable in text. Really like it that they take us serious and keep trying to improve their beautifull ICO.

25% bonus on presale is excellent. I mean, the price of the token depends very much on the bonuses. The less they are, the better for late investors. Cool

Yep. I really love the bonus for presale, because it gives you way more tokens rather than investing very late without the bonus. I wish that the bonus was way higher Smiley.

In my opinion the bonus is more than enough. Just take a look to the based Price from 3 Dollar per Token/Coin. Each %-increase of the bonus will scale with it.

Yeah definitely agree, you can't give away a bonus higher than 25% because it will drastically reduce the value of the token that CROM are offering, plus like I mentioned in an earlier post it will encourage people to dump the project as soon as it gets listed on an exchange because they will make a profit from the bonus that they didn't have to pay for.

you take the words out of my mouth! imo they found the right balance between having a sufficient bonus to encourage early investors and make their coin more dump resistant by limiting the amount of 'free' coins on the market.

I have to say, those blog articles are not as easy to read as i thought.

https://blog.cromhub.com/performance-marketing-has-problems-seems-that-everybody-knows-and-nobody-is-talking-about-it-54d048f91f11
this article was at some point talking about tracking-in-transparancy, but boy... i don't understand any of that.

the other article i got the jizz of it, but i would really suggest to create some blogs whom are more dummy friendly. Don't use marketing jargon.

Its not really necessary that you understand A-Z of the article. Most important points is enough for we people. As it is mentioned here, this is more for the whole advertising community and to follow CROM as well as trying to do mass adoptation.

i get that, but im pretty well educated and even i had some hard time understanding it. That's what i meant with dummy friendly. So in the effort of mass adoption they should make it a bit more approachable (not sure if that is the correct spelling).

I understood you. =) I just find high-tech texts in another language quite challenging. Of course, the ICO team has to answer many open questions while reading, but it must also be understandable for lateral entrants. I would like it if every section / chapter of the article had a short, understandable summary.

ahh we are on the same page. And indeed, a short understandable summary would be a great solution! and if someone wants to go into detail they have the option to read through the more heavy stuff.
