103  Local / Biete / [B] Gruppenkauf - 26 Chili Miner - 30+ GH/s - Lieferzeit ca. 1 Woche on: January 10, 2014, 01:54:17 PM

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=267649.msg3463345#msg3463345

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=304250.0

Chips:

   8 BFL 65nm Chips -> 8*0,05BTC = 0,40BTC
+ 1 Chili Miner für 300$ = ~0,33BTC
------------------------------------------------------
Preis = 0,77BTC oder ~510€ pro Chili

Wer mehr als 5 nimmt bezahlt nur 0,04BTC/Chip

Versand:

A: Hier eine kleine Auswahl: amzn.to/Kasq6b - amzn.to/1bZvF7b - amzn.to/KOBjn9

A: Laut Changelog sollte die neueste Version funktionieren.

does this work for the 8vrm version too?
107  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: January 07, 2014, 09:34:43 PM
managed to get my 4vrm unit to ~625GH/s but as already mentioned before my 8vrm unit is just showing a lot of hardware errors. so i will let the 8 vrm unit as it is. maybe i will try my luck if i have a little bit more time. just tried on both with 211.

and thanks to everyone involved in this thread! Grin

Yes it's an october unit. At the moment I don't know the power consumption as the miner is at a remote location. Rate now at 625Gh/s errors down to 0.9%.
I have used BFGminer to check frequency, temp, voltage, errors while hunting. But I prefer cgminer.

Will post config when I got time. But its pretty simple an not chip/die/core specific (though I had 1/2 die working at 1.2 GHz resulting in ~180 Gh/s for one ASIC....stable...but din't follow that road)
waiting for your config i will give it a try Wink. 8 or 4 vrms?
114  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: December 10, 2013, 07:44:29 PM
got my unit stable at ~620Gh/s (still rising after 4h). Had 660/700 almost stable but the temps are pretty high at the current location, so I had to abort. Might be solved by tweaking voltage settings though and repositioning the fans to cool the vrms.

on an october unit  Shocked ?

ok also if have more than one miner

is better to put all the miner at same btc adress
or but for every miner different adress?Huh

i am mining on eligius and i am using one address for my two jupiter. there is no reason to use different addresses.

can you tell me how long the riser cables should be for a 6x gpu rig? i can find 19cm, 24cm, 30cm and 54cm.
117  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] OpenRigs.com - Aluminium Frames for Mining Rigs on: December 06, 2013, 09:19:15 PM
i suggest to add some powered riser cables. would have had add them to my order but now i must look somewhere else for them.  Undecided

Does anyone know what the typical support e-mail reply time is nowadays?  I had a nice fireworks display on one of my Oct. Jupiter's when upgrading PSUs and haven't heard anything from them for a couple of days now aside from the auto reply. Just curious how long it will take to issue RMA.

What the bloody did you do? All you have to do is swap cables.

And that is precisely what i did.  I was going from a Coolermaster v1000 to a nice Corsair AX1200 gold.  Brand new out of the box never used, plug it all in, hit the switch and poof.......Fire!  That was my good Jupiter too. Sad

Here is the aftermath.

I have two Corsair AX1200 for my October Jupiters and everything is fine.
119  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: December 05, 2013, 06:00:43 PM
So I'm a newbie and I'm looking into getting into bitcoining and litecoining. From what I've heard litecoin is more profitable since it's like bitcoin jr right now. (That's how I've heard it put) So with that being said I'm going to have a maximum of $2000 to invest at the first of the year and I'm curious which is the best way to go? First things first.... Do I need a dedicated machine for each bitcoin and litecoin mining? Or if I was to get a butterfly labs rig that could handle 25gh/s for $1249 could I share that between mining for each application? My guess is no! Please guide me in this direction. I'm basing my funds to use on current technology not what they may have next year. Also is it really that easy to hook a 25Gh/s bitcoin miner to a new computer and run the miner program connecting to a pool and let it do it's thing? Also another question I have is do you put all your nuts in one basket by only dedicating your computer to one pool or do you run multiple pools? I can do my research on who the best one's are I'm just curious on so many things. Please do your best to guide me on this subject as I'm very tech savy with pc's and hardware but with this mining is NEW to me!!!

1. DO NOT BUY FROM BUTTERFLY
2. I think you should better open a new thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=40.0
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 04, 2013, 10:11:48 PM
Right.  So OP's comment, while technically correct, was completely misleading.  His pool had a lucky string of days.  He will not make that day in/day out.

It certainly seems like some of you say intentionally misleading/inflammatory shit, in the hopes someone will call you out on it.  Then we get to have a multi-page, retarded debate on semantics.   Roll Eyes

Well for me, I'm just sharing how things have been going.. never intended to imply it will remain that way.

Unless of course, myself or whomever, adds hashing power at every difficulty hop.

In fairness to vesperwillow, my November Jupiter, hashing at 660GHs had been averaging 0.5 BTC a day since it arrived last week. The last 24 hours have been a bit slower as there have been some longer running blocks, but it's still been about 0.38 on Slush's pool.
