Guys, it is not within our control whether or not the IPO coins are distributed on time. We fully expected Maidak to be able to distribute them out in a timely fashion.

Also, if everyone reads the first couple pages of the thread, you should see that we were initially against using a third party escrow because of issues like these. People criticized us and called us scammers for not offering an escrow so we went out and decided to get Maidak as an escrow, seeing his track record and reputation, we thought he would be trustworthy enough to handle the IPO funds. Also, other members of the community suggested Maidak.

You guys can blame us all you want but it is simply out of our control right now and you'll just have to wait for Maidak to get online to send out the remaining coins. We will not be issuing any refunds for the IPO unfortunately as the coin was launched successfully. We did not expect the delays to be this severe, and we do sincerely apologize for this. If we handled the IPO distribution ourselves, we would have already sent out all the coins within the first 6-12 hours.

Yup, if it were up to us, every investor would have received their coins by now. But I think this is a rare occasion where Maidak may be too occupied by other things in real life causing the delays in distribution. Just hopefully everyone has submitted their addresses to him so he can distribute the remaining coins tonight

I'm told Maidak has a day job so I'm guessing we'll need to wait until he gets online later this afternoon/evening to distribute the rest of the coins. Just be sure you've filled out the second form if you haven't already.

As far as I can tell, Maidak has not sent any coins to the other address either. I think it's best to wait for his response in regards to this first.

Very noble of you, but if the investor did indeed lose his coins and we are unable to help recover it, we would be willing to compensate from the remaining IPO pool as it is not a large amount that can do any significant damage to the coin.

I believe this is something Maidak will have to help resolve since BTC was sent to his address. I see there is a conflict with this address where two users have submitted under the same BTC address. Hopefully Maidak will be able to come to a proper resolution for this.

No, so far only about 50k distributed. We are not distributing all free coins at once, it will be done throughout the week. Since we also need to take time to screen each account to make sure it is not a spammer account and has met our requirements.

Not many newbie/brand new accounts were granted the free distribution coins. We screened each account and if it seems like it was a brand new account made just for the purpose of claiming free coins we denied the application. Although the max of 350 applicants were received, it does not mean all 500k coins will be distributed.

As for the IPO coins, make sure you've filled out the new form at the top of the OP. Maidak will be making his runs with the IPO coin distribution, we will try to keep everyone up to date on that.

Try closing your wallet and reopening to force resync. Some of you may have already received the coins if you filled out the forms early.

Update August 20, 2014: We have decided to reduce the IPO Phase 2 to a mere 24 hours.

We feel that the second phase is pointless and somewhat obsolete since we have already been added to c-cex exchange. We will keep the Phase 2 IPO up for 24 hours starting 2:30 AM EST. After that, we will no longer be accepting investments and the remaining coins will be scheduled for destruction. We feel this is in the best interest of our early investors as well as the overall integrity of UseCoin.
