Yup. I just went through the Hasher United youtube feed, sound quality was awful, but what CEO Marco did announce exactly what Ian described: one contract that will be able to set Scrypt, X11 and/or SHA256 hashrate. I couldnt make out a time frame though, don even know if such a thing was mentioned. But I have a open spot in my calendar tomorrow  Grin

Also there was a video of one of the mining farms, which I hope will be put on the website as well!

Still need to look back in this thread, and especially for Friday's. I suspect payment is always a bit later then. Which should be easily tracked by the number of "where's my payment" posts Tongue

Ow! And YES, payment is coming in as we speak Smiley

And yes, sometimes it takes a little longer and sometimes it takes a little shorter. Why would today be any different?
104  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 10, 2014, 03:45:48 PM
haii. can you teach me how about PBmining ? i dont understand
You don't understand what exactly?

You go to pbmining.com (if you like, by clicking on the pbmining link in my signature), you sign up for an account, then you buy hashrate, and every Sunday you get payout.
That's the short and simple, and fully biased version.

Whether or not a ponzi is a poplar discussion. There are those that have invested early and are on profit after month after month after month of receiving payments. And there are those that claim PBMining is a ponzi scheme and spent month after month after month warning others to stay away because it's a sure loss.
I'm not one of the earliest birds, pretty late actually when it comes to pbmining, but I've picked up a few referrals, so all in all I'm getting more out of them then I've put in. Though I'm not afraid to put in more. If they disappear tomorrow I'm in profit, if they disappear three months from now I'm in more profit. But for now I think they won't disappear. Nu guarantees for the future as the mining scene changes, coins change, profitability changes, difficulty changes, and so on and so on. Things can turn to crap pretty damn fast in Crypto.
Also, get yourself familiar with various calculators, like http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators or my favorite, http://evolyn.net/bitcoin/mining_calc.php. Check before you spent money on anything. Just keep in mind that the better you udnerstand all varaibles, the better numbers you can enter and the more reliable (if ever) the result of the calcs.

So, investing or not, make up your own mind. And when you invest, don't ever invest anything you can't afford to lose. Period.

Can somebody tell me how long it usually take until i reach roi?I read about 4 or 6 Months

I looked at serveral charts and saw that the difficulty is increasing around 20 percent every month,so i will not get any money after 5 Months...is this correct?
Yes, check the calcutalors I mentioned. Whatever you've read, if it was more then a minute ago then any truth in the message (if it was there in the first place) might no longer apply. Things change. And with crypto there's a always a damn lot that can change. Calculators.. yesterday's calculations are old news today ( <= after me saying you should use those calculators... makes it clear you should never stop thinking about what you're doing, I hope?!)

And every time I have to change my singature. it's hard work I tell you Tongue
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: October 10, 2014, 09:59:08 AM
Merged mining is already in place. When you mine LTC, any Doge that travel along are traded into LTC and added to your income. Or when you mine Doge, it's the other way round.

X11... Who knows.

Today is the day though that Marco Streng is going to toss some nice newsies into the world at the Hashers United conference. Unless he's too busy gambling his coins away in Vegas.
is it time yet?!
107  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 08, 2014, 09:41:57 AM
Of course it can be a factor, but if a difficulty jump of 15% or 20% does nothing for the price, then I don't see why price should be raised when there's a pending adjustment of 2% while Bitcoin price is going up so there's more revenue from the same price anyway.
PBM could also be looking out of the Window and see it rains, so, add 10% to the price. It can be a factor, but it doesn't make much sense. Also doesn't make sense to change price like twice per day. People get annoyed. I get annoyed Tongue
108  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 08, 2014, 08:20:32 AM
I dont see what that has got do with it. In the past prices were lowered after a steep difficulty raise, though the last months price adjustments have barely happened due to difficulty. Doesn't make sense that all of a sudden there's a raise in price before a difficulty adjustment.
109  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 08, 2014, 07:18:12 AM

You might as well ask, why is the bitcoin price so volatile?
Mining Equipment is sold in USD, and I would expect the ghs price to change due to that.

Volatile price? 0.0017BTC while Bitcoin is worth 320 versus 0.0019BTC while bitcoin is worth 325...
Thats the sort of annoying thing I mean

110  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 07, 2014, 09:19:20 PM
i bought some ghs at 0.0017 btc/ghs too, but now the price is again 0.0019 btc/ghs ,

why is the price is so volatile? cannot understand it..
Indeed. It's a bit annoying.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: October 07, 2014, 05:03:25 PM
Just some of my crazy thoughts:
Value of BTC dropped, which has an effect. But that is only part of the truth. I was busy trading Megacoin (are there other coins Tongue), and while Bitcoin was dropping in dollar value like mad, Megacoin was gaining in Bitcoin value. So, in theory, if the most profitable coin for that day had been set to Megacoin, payouts in BTC should have gone up. Seems logical, right?! So, why didn't GM point their hashrate towards Megacoin?! Because there's more things to consider.
One such thing, if you have 10TH/s of Scrypt power and you point it all at Megacoin, difficulty would go bonkers! Kimoto Gravity Well would kick in on universal level and end the coin harvesting festival completely within one or two blocks. You will waste tons of energy on KGW instead of mining. Byebye profit. And suppose you would get a load of coins, where to go with them and who would buy that many?! You'd dump them on the market and brutally murder the price. Byebye profit.
You would have to consider this when mining the most profitable coin. and this is just one aspect. The whole concept of "mining the most profitable coin" is an incredible puzzle, with a thousand pieces, and only a few minutes to figure out which next piece should go where. That details of course are kept secret, and those that find out will be killed in their sleep.

Also, and this is rather important, I'm saying Megacoin here, but really, picture almost any other coin here. THIS is the real issue of coin value. There are so many of them that buying power is scattered all over the place and none have true buying power supporting them. This means that the most profitable coin is more or less a ghost. As soon as you've found it... it vanishes into thin air again due to selling pressure with virtually no buying support. Nearly all coins are push-overs. Point a finger at them and they cave in. The more coins there will be, the worse this will get. Any coin about to rise above others will be swamped, and killed almost instantly, by sellers. So... the margins for the most profitable coin are rather thin. Take small steps only...

How to fix? Well, improve the whole coin choosing concept, or stick to truly powerful coins only, or add ALL available coins to the pool so you have more to choose from. Or...

---

Unfortunately I'm tired and too slow. More later. or not. But someone else may step in also and share a few thoughts of the how and why
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: October 07, 2014, 11:13:07 AM

Are you kidding ?

I'm losing 10% each day since 5 days... 0.000275 per Mh/s on October 5th!

Losing 10% on what? I've been mining Megacoin mostly and how many coins I mine depends almost solely on the difficulty of the Megacoin network. Are you saying GM provides a bad service because of coin issues?
113  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 07, 2014, 09:03:12 AM
Yes, now it's going up (and down - rocky times for a little while, I guess), but it was below $300. I already spend my cheaply bought Bitcoin elsewhere, but if I didn't, I would be paying 0.05 to 0.06 USD less per GHs then those who invest at this current Bitcoin level. If you want the best possible ROI then keep an eye out for opportunities like that Smiley

Umm.... Does it contain nudity ?  Kiss

Especially nice for those who were smart enough to buy Bitcoin when it was below $300 Smiley
116  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0020 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: October 06, 2014, 04:27:18 PM

No, because LTCGear was online before BCS. To be fair, I do not think you can fault either company for using a royalty free stock photo, it is common practice. Neither may be interested in providing photos of their actual mining gear.
Not that page you mentioned Tongue

But in both cases, I'm surprised by the choice of stock picture. I'd think that the crappy hardware display would drive potential customers away instead of appealing to them. Anyway, the pics have been there for months. Time for fresh pics Wink
117  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0020 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: October 06, 2014, 08:08:44 AM
The new hardware has arrived and we are taking orders again. We don't believe in preorders and we won't oversell.

https://www.bitcoincloudservices.com/product/bitcoin-cloud-mining-contract/

The photo on your website at https://www.bitcoincloudservices.com/product/bitcoin-cloud-mining-contract/ is the same photo of scrypt miners you can see at http://ltcgear.com/product/farmhare-55x-diff-beater-special/. Your jpg was flipped right to left and the bitcoin logo added. Explain?

EDIT: Thanks to Sy at the Litecoin Forum, seems both companies are using this royalty free stock image: http://www.dreamstime.com/royalty-free-stock-photography-modern-computer-cases-data-center-closeup-image33992937
Just out of curiosity, did you ask LTCGear why their pictures are the same as the ones from another site? Well, before you found out it's just a stock photo.

As for the pic, the "modern computer cases" name is a bit funny, though I'm sure at one time it was modern. Not sure if I was still wearing shorts then. But it's clear those things aren't mining Bitcoin. One of the two things I don't like about BCS. Even for a stock photo this pic is extremely poor Sad
118  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0020 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: October 05, 2014, 12:16:55 PM
With the current value of Bitcoin it's getting highly attractive to convert some dollars into Bitcoin and buy a load of hashrate at BCS. Currently alsmot down to like $0.60 per GH/s
Hope this keeps up (or down, depending on how you look at it)
119  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Cloudmining on: October 01, 2014, 11:08:27 PM

I have on of those in my wallet. I'm fine with it. And when I get a bunch of those, I'll create a new wallet and send my coins there and delete the old one. SHould work I think.
