Can anyone sell me some NxT's please, 1 BTC for 24,000 NXT? Pm Me.

Glad to see that you decided to get in Smiley

I'm missing his posts. He was the factor that rised the price 10-fold.

What?? I'm pretty sure I came in here telling everyone that the price was at 400-600,000% premium at the peak when it was at .00012 on DGEX; it dropped ever since. You mean "Dropped" 3-fold?

Yeah, just wasn't gonna get in at 400,000-600,000% price premium to IPO cost, that's monstrous. It's still high at 200,000%, but I'll take my chances. Will you sell me some?

I'm boycotting DGEX because he made a bad move and installed fees without giving due notice for people to withdraw if they wanted to. Bad business, good for short term, bad for long term.

Arbitration is expensive. More expensive than lawsuits. Guess it makes sense to do mass action. Contact fenwick. Except I have certain trust issues - Occam's Razor helps.
105  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 15, 2014, 08:26:42 AM
For those in the states, has anyone considered doing the arbitration yourself, without a lawyer? If the lawyers are taking a big cut, and if they lose would demand payment for services anyways, then I would think going without a lawyer may be a way to negotiate a better deal/compromise for yourself, or no? Thoughts?

Looking to get 500-600 BTC for it.
107  Economy / Marketplace / Re: IL Licensed Chicago Property Owner Wants To Sell Gold Coast Condo W/ Lake Views on: January 08, 2014, 05:01:42 PM
Awesome!  Too bad, I'm closing on a Bitcoin condo this week Cheesy. Good luck!

May I ask whereabouts? In the US or other countries? Is there a loan involved, i.e., to re-pay the seller's lender?

Do you have an available CMA on the pricing of the subject property?

Yes, below are very similar properties, in the same building, with the same 2 bedroom/2bathroom tier/layout [03-04], sold, in the last 5-11 months.

#1 03/2013, Sold for $348,  , no parking*
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-pMkZmE33DMNmR6WjhkcXdrQmM/edit?usp=sharing

#2 08/2013, Sold for $385, 1 parking spot
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-pMkZmE33DMTjJUUXZhbGlqcGc/edit?usp=sharing
http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/111-W-Maple-St-APT-1903-Chicago-IL-60610/54536303_zpid/

#3 05/2013, Sold for $397, 1 parking spot
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-pMkZmE33DMaTIxYTFUZ3MzbmM/edit?usp=sharing
** http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/111-W-Maple-St-APT-2603-Chicago-IL-60610/54536230_zpid/
**Building is built 1991 (Zillow has a typo in this unit for some reason).

* the subject property includes 1 parking spot, and parking spots in the area go for $25-40k.
So, add $30k to the first property (to adjust for parking), and you have $378k, $385k, and $397k. So the average is about $387k.

 beautiful city and lake views.

block explorer still shows my coins are there, but when i log into the client as I normally did, balance shows up at zero. I guess it's not connecting to any of the peers. The console output says: java.io.EOFException

Anyone with this problem? Solution? TY.

Stop your client.  Copy your blocks.nxt.bak over blocks.nxt, and transactions.nxt.bak over transactions.nxt, then restart client.

Perfect. TY. NXT sent

How's the code review going? Also, why aren't investors cashing out more coins? Still waiting to buy some at 0.00004. GO GO GO.

somedays most things remind me of scarface

go on the street, make a few moves, a mil here and mil there

I call it crypto-hustling. Gives me something to talk about at cocktail parties  Cool
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 03, 2014, 06:27:39 PM
It reminds me of ScarFace, when he was just getting into the business and a drug deal went bad with a close friend getting killed. He could've kept half the dough but instead gave back the full amount as a gesture for expectation of better business in the future. Business 101
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 03, 2014, 06:22:18 PM
Fees are ok :/, but what a solid business move imo would've been to inform the public 2-3 days in advance of the fee increases so if they weren't happy with them, they could've withdrawn ahead of the time. But of course, I forget... money $$$ oh yeah
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 03, 2014, 02:52:13 PM

P.S. No major issues with DGEX so far for me. I was a little thrown off the enforced +/- 30% price controls, but have gotten accustomed to it. There are still some other features I'd like to see - order book chart, ability to be able to select all (either BTC of NXT) to be auto-calculated with the amounts based on given price, and also, free money giveaways to me and structured dumping of hoarded coins at 6000x the IPO cost to redistribute wealth. Grin

AN OPEN MESSAGE TO EPIC THOMAS:

So where we're at:

12152013998194592943  contains  147690 NXT  taken from sparta_cuss's  11794318797680953099

Note that

16204974692852323982  also contains 1155  NXT moved from four other accounts over a four minute period centered around 29.12.2013 08:20:00 , original owner(s) unknown

I can check whether or not stolen NXT has been returned using the block explorer:

http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=34

EpicThomas, or whoever holds the keys to these bandit accounts, I urge you to reverse these transactions and return ***ALL*** NXT to its rightful owners, INCLUDING LOSSES UNDISCOVERED SO FAR.

You cannot convert this to BTC or cash because these accounts are being monitored at Dgex.

I promise to drop my efforts to determine your real world identities if you return the NXT.

I also promise to turn over to your local police department every scrap of identity information I turn up if you do not return the NXT you have taken.

The clock is ticking.  The choice is yours.

You should check out how this scammer got busted. Now he's sitting in Jail on million dollar bail, FBI pursued this mofo. True story, I almost got scammed by him. May want to talk with the cyberdude who busted him (he's got skills), tracked him down to his address, license plate, parents home, phone numbers. Got his ass sooo bad:

Glad to be of some help  Grin

Is there an easy sanity check to tell if your client is forging or not? I've had coins for about a week and no forging:

Transparent Mining is definitely WORKING!  Smiley  I managed to generate a block with a WHOLE 1 NXT!!!  Grin

For all those following the discussion on having the browser closed while forging, I am happy to CONFIRM that the forging process continues when the browser is closed.  Just make sure the account is unlocked when you close the browser.

Hmm. I closed the browser, and I still haven't mined anything, and it's been almost a week... Is this normal?

http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=3000&acc=6933627427271736687

Is there a way to tell if I'm forging or not

(P.S. I'm surprised that the price didn't continue to fall further :/ I guess people are curious about the source code release. From there it'll either go WAY up, or WAY down... getting more popcorn, and butter).

EDIT: I haven't updated the NXT client.

Not necessarily. I believe a minority that purchased multiple baby jets were able to convert some into Sierras.

I received a Google Group invitation. Could the organizer confirm on this forum that it is legit?

I am another organizer for all hashfast customer e-mail addresses starting from 01 through CR. It is legit, but it seems as thanks for this I get this:

Quote
I've reported this email as spam to Google.

YOU are the problem.

Do not EVER contact me again with another unsolicited email.

I see, so the e-mails that were leaked out went in batches, My e-mails included T-Z. I think we should find a way to merge groups if possible.
Looks like allinvain has 01-CR.
I'm not admin of my group, but it appears we're T-Z.
