101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hard Cap on: March 19, 2019, 11:40:38 AM
Is it normal that an ICO has a Hard Cap of 72 million dollar? And as of now I cant find the total supply of the coin so that I can compute the total supply and the value per coin, and I guess they should also put the total supply in their site. What do you think?
What kind of project is this? At least provide us the project name or linked to it so we can learn the whitepaper and find out why the team set the hardcap so high. $72M is a large amount of money. I wonder what are they going to spend with.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ATRONOCOM - Built for You and Your Crypto Lifestyle on: March 19, 2019, 11:20:43 AM
Hi guys. What are the forecasts for this project, what should we expect from it? Is it possible to profitably sell a coin?
As for me, a dubious project. Too striking in the eyes of a beautiful design, but in fact the product yet.

Many projects are using that strategy to attract naive users. They thought beautiful graphics will give them what they want. And oh by the way, you said you are a member of bitcoin association switzerland, but upon checking their members list, you are not there? Any explanation why is that so?

https://www.bitcoinassociation.ch/members-1

I'm wondering why the team is not answering valid questions like this? If you are part of this organization as you claimed on your website, then your logo or name should be in their members list, right? And I couldn't find also your name upon checking the strategic and supporting partners of crypto valley. What kind of partnership do you have with Crypto Valley?
Indeed. I was searching these information too and was about to find information regarding partnership with Operation Rescue Childcare Project. But still could not find any clue what kind of partnership has been established with this charity organisation.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: March 18, 2019, 01:37:23 PM
I don't agree if listing kills a coin. It is even worse if a coin doesn;t listing or it can be considered failed project. I think the problem is the timing for listing. The last year market is all down, so most coins listed that time would have fallen the price. But the real project will survive along with the developments. So, by listing in exchanges, a coin will hav a change and circulating supply should be raised.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ask The Bounty Team before joining on: February 24, 2019, 07:21:54 AM
Recently, I just had this bad experience with a bounty campaign I joined (Vanta to be specific). They've extended the campaign, added some task, and threatened participants that they'll not get all the bounty rewards if they won't participate. I raised my concerns to the bounty manager and I was quite disappointed with the response.

To all fellow hunters, you may want to ask this questions to your bounty managers before joining a campaign:

1. Bounty campaign extension
- Will the team ask for an increase in the bounty pool?
- Will the team close the registration and allow only those participants prior to extension?

2. ICO team inserting rules after the campaign
- Will the team allow ICO teams add rules like exchange voting and require hunters to participate?
- What would be the bounty team's response if ICO teams would withhold the bounty rewards to force hunters to participate?

These questions might help you understand how strong the bounty manager is when it comes to protecting its group of bounty hunters.

Disclaimer: I've also posted a similar topic in other forums I'm into. In case someone checks my post for plagiarism

Bounty managers are like doctors, they can only give you answers for the now and not tomorrow, that's why bounty hunters are supposed to be patient enough to swallow whatever comes. No matter the tricks you have up your sleeves, remember there is a disclaimer on every bounty that bounty managers have the right to make changes anytime during the course of the bounty
Agree. Especially when the campaign has the "disclaimer" that they have the right to make changes anytime, we can only obey and accept the terms and conditions. So I think questioning will be useless.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it ok to lock your bounty for 4 months on: February 24, 2019, 07:08:42 AM
If the rule has been mentioned at the beginning of the campaign, I think it's fine. As long as the project continues to grow, I think locking tokens is not a problem. After all, the average ico token after release in the market is actually far from the price of ico
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Mew safe now?? on: February 24, 2019, 06:56:54 AM
If you've bookmarked the site, then it should be safe. But for prevention, always check the url, and use metamask.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best exchanges to list coin? on: February 24, 2019, 06:52:35 AM
I think Binance is a good option for this moment. But you should prepare to meet its listing requirements. The listing fee is also not cheap, however it is worth for its reputation as a top exchange.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sign of bull run? on: February 24, 2019, 06:23:56 AM
Not really sure. But I think it's too early to say this is a sign of a bull run. Even though for the past 3-4 months, based on the bitcoin chart in CMC, the movement is quite stable until these several days which shows an increase followed by altcoins. Let's see for another week.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can an exchange that requires KYC call itself as DEX? on: February 23, 2019, 04:01:59 PM
I guess this could happen due to local regulations though basicly dex and kyc are two opposite things which cleary define the decentralized and centralized exchange mechanism.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more new task or projects in bountyhunters.io on: February 23, 2019, 03:53:29 PM
I never use this platform or other for bounty campaign yet because of a lot of scam and failed projects appeared since last year. I took only a few campaign in this forum and mean to finisihed them until I find good ones along with the market condition.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you comfort yourself after receiving token from the bounty program? on: February 23, 2019, 03:48:47 PM
Lol, I used to make a calculation like you did as well. But since the bear market, It's only a couple times to touch my wallet which contains bounty reward as I know the price is far away from my expectation. Mostly even far away from  the ICO price,
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: February 21, 2019, 12:41:44 PM
Surprising, there are so many DEX I never knew. Out of this massive list, I only use Crypto Bridge and Allbit. Often I try to avoid DEX for its slow loading process, limited listed coins, and small trade volume. I think we need a clean and faster DEX for everyone so it gets more liquidity.

Idex and etherdelta are the most common decentralized exchange I use especially when I want to buy erc20 tokens or when I want to sell it. For regular trading, I still use the centralized one since I mostly trade in btc/fiat pair. Decentralized exchange is good at one side but centralized exchange still better at some points.
I also more often use dex for erc20 tokens trading for it is more complete list of tokens, though the volume of certain tokens may become my reason not to trade there. I use cex only for trading with fiat pair. I guess both dex and cex have each advantages and disadvantages.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the era change from ICO (Initial Coin Offering) to STO (Security Token O) on: February 21, 2019, 12:30:45 PM
It is possible that STO will be the preferred option if only it is fully compliance and registered to the authorities to prevent fraud and to protect investors.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to send all ETH tokens at once? on: February 21, 2019, 12:21:46 PM
I don;t think so either. If the purpose of sending all tokens to another wallet is to save the tx fees, then the only way I guess is to set it to the lowest gas price.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: February 21, 2019, 12:17:52 PM
I think there're always chances for new projects to compete with the existing estahblished ones. It depends on the projects themself how to reach their goals and consistently doing developments.
I am not too clear about grin, but I don;t think other altcoins can reach bitcoin for now.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google keyboard with bitcoin symbol and ethereum on: February 20, 2019, 03:29:13 PM
Finally, companies as big as google seem to recognize the existence and potential of bitcoin. The last statement from Google's reply to Vitalik's retweet shows that acknowledgment.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should invest into ICOs that have a working product. on: February 20, 2019, 03:20:45 PM
ICOs with a working product is an additional value which give a good impression for the project. But it does not guarantee that ICOs with this condition is legit. Some could be tricky, so I think it is better to invest after ICO. Most of project has lower price after ICO, so we can take benefit from there.
118  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: (DISKUSI) Akankah Cryptocurrency Menjadi Sistem Pembayaran Global di Masa Depan? on: February 16, 2019, 06:49:56 AM

Meskipun beberapa DEX masih ramai digunakan trader.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New design MyEtherWallet. Easy or Difficult to send tokens? on: February 15, 2019, 02:08:29 PM
Just open mew today and have a little trouble finding the wallet access section like the previous version. It turns out it's in the "vintage" section at the bottom of the page. Overall. the new design looks good anyway.
