Hi guys haven't been following the latest in mastercoin for a while. I bought them from the exodus address. I'm quite surprised to see them trading up to .3 btc/msc. What has prompted the increase in value? It's nearly a 200 fold increase? What have I missed?

Am I the only fool holding out for the hosting option to get up and running? I feel like such an idiot especially when reading that steamboat is probably mining with our miners as we speak. Is there any point in taking delivery at this stage? Would it be worth it to try mining PPC with them? Looking back it seems the best play was to simply hold bitcoin- I bought AM shares @1.9 now @ 0.4, labrat shares @0.15 now @0.05 and cant even trade them and of course this fiasco with steamboat (I was in batch 6 and he claimed I wasnt eligible for a chip refund-even though I made the request before his so called cut off date). Seems like the only smart move I made was buy a boatload of mastercoins. Im not whining by the way-just wishing I had been smarter. Whats the smart play for the future?  All comments and feedback appreciated.

im very confused here ... i asked for refund, i didnt received .... now people getting their miners ... i paid for assembly too, i was in batch 1 .... no email .. no nothing ...

You need to fire off an e-mail to Steamboat (asicbuy at gmail.com) and ask to have your miners shipped without the usb boot loader in order to get them asap.

Does that mean you think he wont offer the hosting option? - or that its just wasting a load of hashing time waiting for some kind of optimum setup?
Its quite crazy to not be given an update and to receive no reply from emails sent .

Steamboat
For those of us that didnt get refunds- will you still be offering the hosting option? Any estimate on how soon they will be up and running?

Hi guys
I am in europe and I have a few G-asicminer shares on bitfunder. Considering all the uncertainty should I be moving these somewhere else? Can i move them somewhere else? or are they ok for the time being? Any advice/suggestions appreciated. Thanks
Yes, move elsewhere, Bitfunder is a mess.

To where? What are my options? (I have 10 shares)

If you have more than 250 you may export them to direct shares. As European you should be fine as long as your BF/WeEx account is verified before December 1, 2013.

Wish I had more than 250  Smiley
In the process of verifying my account.
Thanks

How do I uninstall a restored wallet from the android version and create a new one? (defeats the purpose having an offline wallet when the android one is online and I can send directly from it without having to sign the transaction on my offline PC)

Thanks again
110  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: October 15, 2013, 11:07:42 PM
Hey guys haven't tuned in for a few days- its kind of gut wrenching  to keep looking at the value of my portfolio on bitfunder drop everyday.
Question- Is labrat paying dividends manually into our bitfunder account? has anyone received a dividend?

LabRat paid dividends last week to the bitcoin address tied to each account. Check your BF account and
make sure you have a valid bitcoin address set up in it.

Damn! I never updated the bitfunder public address to one I had control of? Where did the default address come from when I opened the account? Ive updated it now but does this mean I have to change something on weexchange? or do I have to re-link bitfunder?

Does anyone have direct contact with Steamboat...as in a phone number or address?  Seems like someone stopped by to take pictures a while back.  Could we get that same person to pop back by there and ask him for an official update?  I never received an e-mail about refunds, the e-mail I sent through the website was never replied to, and I don't think there has been any communication in a few weeks now.  To top all of that off the forum was down for close to a week and we still haven't heard anything back from him.

Chad

+1
same here

Hello Steamboat
I sent you an email regarding change of email address.
I sent in the refund form ( hopefully signed correctly) that I received as a link from a trusted forum member.
I have sent you multiple emails.
I have not received a single reply, confirmation or even the official refund form in over the 2 weeks i began requesting refund.
I need an update.
Thank you.

Time to consider where to reinvest if at all...
Seems like the main options are KnC, Hashfast and cointerra
The mining calculators show negative ROI for the above except for cointerra (assuming you started mining in december- which seems unlikely)
Of course all this is conjecture based on current rate of $127 and continued rise in difficulty.
Anyone got any plans on where they are reinvesting steamboats refund or are the days of the little guy mining over?

Anyone else got a refund today?
I submitted the form from steambot's email on the same day I received it, but no reply nor other info..

Could you email me the form?

I'd advise against using other peoples information unless you trust them 100% and then some. Unless you *want* to get pished or something Tongue

Also, people who received the original e-mail, please do not send it to others whom you may not know if they are a batch member themselves. They may want your
original in order to create pishing e-mail which looks identical to the original mail.

can you spell out for me in plain english how i can get screwed using a refund form that someone else sends to me? its just a form isnt it? Im just going to be sending it to steamboats email?

so refunds are being sent
I didn't receive the email with the refund form and i've requested one several times so far from steamboat with no reply .
I also signed a message from my sending address just simply stating 'refund request' and pasted the signature in an email with account details, tx id etc..
Do I need to do more? could someone email me the refund form?
118  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: September 13, 2013, 10:38:28 PM

seemed to work ok from the offline pc
do I just put the signature in an email?
119  Bitcoin / Electrum / cant sign a message with electrum on: September 13, 2013, 10:17:52 AM
Im using electrum as a wallet-  a seedless wallet version ( it can receive bitcoin but not send). To send i need to go to an offline pc that i have and import raw data etc..
How do I send a signed message from my original sending address ? ( Ican see the address in receive tab)
I have right clicked on the address and select 'sign message' then filled in message details- what do i put in the signature section?
When I hit sign I get- 'NoneType' object has no attribute'_getitem_'

Thanks
