I had a question. So I want to run a substratum node at my work (which has extremely high bandwidth available) but had concerns about the content being accessed via it. Is it like the end point of a VPN, where all the traffic and so on will be visible?
I actually have the same concern here, security is quite important and it would be good if we can get some clarification on that part, just to be sure we don't get a bad deal for supporting early beta. |

WEEKLY COMMUNITY UPDATE | Week 21
#1. As many others around the world - we've had to get ourselves ready for the GDPR law that came into effect today. Fortunately our recent addition to the team, our head of legal, has been on this since joining and we've been able to get our current data storage solutions, privacy terms, etc into compliance before today. This took some of our necessary resources, but had to be done!
Let me know if there are questions on this.
#2. Last week, we've reported we applied for our financial license. The license review is still in process, but so far we haven't received any negative remarks or required amendments from the financial intelligence unit yet. The process may take a few weeks and we'll be sure to keep you updated. (normally they're a bit faster - but another government that is involved in the process is not the fastest with issuing one of the required documents 🙂)
#3. Our new brandbooks have been delivered by the designers and we're thrilled to get this out to the world! While I will keep you waiting a little longer as the website is currently being implemented, I did want to share with you a visual that they came up with which you can use as a new wallpaper! :v: (You can find it below this post)
#4. Next week we hope to have better views on the timelines for launching the open alpha (trading tournament). We know how badly you guys want to see the things we've built so far and for Mothership to go live, and so do we, but we want to ensure we're launching with a market competitive product that is not yet another exchange and that takes time and effort. That said, we're striving to get it out in the coming summer.
5. We also would like to finalise our decisions on the MSP token utility shortly and are currently making the final decisions on these. Once they pass reviewal by our legal team we'll be sure to share! Just out of curiousity though, what would you like to see as part of the utility?

Every time Verge moves forward an inch, it seems there is a targeted attack planned to introduce fear and uncertainty. That is our curse - how can we un-curse Verge? This is not random for sure!
After this storm we can see a big blue sky and everything will be smooth and interesting. That's a good chance to get more cheap coins and hold it for a while . I used to get a big profit with this news 3 months ago and now maybe it will return again. This is good opportunity to invest more as it has affected the price, but it is not good overall.Just as we were getting back the trust in general, this kind of thing happens again and we are back to ground zero.This should be sorted and avoided in future if XVG wants to go somewhere. |

The project has a slight delay, but that's why it needs more stuff like this, just to show that it's still moving in the right direction. It can't hurt and it will definitely get some more eyes on the project. Yeah, exactly as you said, it is a bit of delay, but good to see people are still participating and hopefully a bit more exposure will help the project to move on and successfully raise funds to kick off and make it work. |

many people predict the price will be higher verge, I have hold verge with a long time, but the current price is going down
this is a longterm coin and only a patient person who gets profit. So if you want to invest in verge then you have to be patient and if it drops below 500 sats you should buy some more and you can sell it above 1000 sats in the future. Do not play short term on a coin like this. if it goes below 500 sat nobody is gonna buy this anymore... Not quite true, If it goes under 500 sat there are a lot of people who will jump on opportunity to buy low and the later resell and make money.The way people see Verge is still like that unfortunately, opportunity to make money as it is perceived as unstable currency. |
