awesome... I've been afraid of migrating my php tool , too Node.js
I am not sure I can trust my mind working around Node.js super smarter type of coding....
I came from a PHP background as well (11 years of it). I also don't enjoy Node callback hell, that is much different from PHP, so I usually stick around using promises and defer (until generators / yield come to Node without --harmony flag)
