I thought that trading has to do with finding an edge, as in increasing your odds of winning by finding what has a higher probability of happening.

$5000 is my mental stop-loss. I really hope it holds. Are they dumping in an attempt to maximize damage? I mean there are probably more subtle methods of cashing out.
Damage, otherwise as you said, there are subtle ways.

Beware of anyone using emotional terms like "bigblocktards" and the like. Arguments matter people, not emotional outbursts.
Indeed. Any time I read anything like "bigblocktard" or "insane raspberry pi fetish" I move to the next post. There are very real issues for debate, mere propaganda does a disservice to the thread. How do you expect to have quality conversations and debates when you have shills, spammers and scammers freely roaming this forum. I too wish to partake in those discussions, and I mean with serious logical and objective opinions, but that is difficult.

The problem is, a group or individual is dumping. Network has 150k or more transactions that are unconfirmed, not a coincidence imo. So one cannot simply buy now, although it's up to the users.

It looks like Bitcoin is under attack, transaction spam(I think) and coin dumping by a single individual or a group.
I've seen someone posting a chart like this one but I can't find it one. So this is what really is happening. A certain group that's dumping bitcoin while attacking the transactions that results the network to have a massive delays. Dropped to even $5923 as I type this.
It's now at $5,894 Doesn't sound too far fetched imo, and because the price is falling, people will panic and sell, further motivated by the network spam. People are saying it's Roger Ver , did you guys know he was in jail, an ex-con?

Kwuk always shows up when the price takes a small hit. He doesn't take into account the huge gains it has made before and only chooses to see the stuff he wants to see.
Up till now it has always been a good thing to buy when Kwuk says its going to crash. I mean, he's been saying that since 200 usd.
It's likely some sockpuppet account aiming to spread FUD to cause panic and ultimately gain money. He also praises BCH when it's held by a giant miner with ASICBOOST plastered over, moreover solves no environmental problems.

Looking at Monthly and weekly RSI, we are quite overbought.

Forget about $7000, I think Bitcoin will reach $70,000 before we all know it. Anyone without Bitcoins at that time will look like an idiot just as people said Bitcoin would not reach $5000 and then were left with a empty paper bag.
Bitcoin is one of the best assets to HODL as well. And therein lies one of the factors that's driving up the price. There are lots of HODLERs creating a demand situation which cannot be met. On top of that, a lot of people are losing their private keys or wallet, reducing the quantity even further.
What about the upcoming halving in 2020 which should get priced in at the end of 2019 or beginning of 2020.
Yeah, but such huge sums will not be mobilized in such a short period of time. It takes 10 more years to 70k BTC. We have seen a rally from 250 USD to now. Dont expect this trend will hold forever. Liquidity! Just because the price may seem like it's 7k or 70k, doesn't mean that there is enough FIAT or BTC to hold that price. Imagine an order of just 1btc for 7000, and the next bid is at 6900, the market will say, hey the price is 7k, but in reality a single sell of 1BTC will result in the price being 6900. This means just one guy can dump say like 100 btc or 1000, and instantly drop the price 1000-2000 dollars for instance.

I thought all those probabilities said this was unlikely, 256-bit private keys, 160 bits for ripemd160.

The good old days. Many users here have joined fairly recently. This is my second account in fact, the other one...got banned for something(not scam obviously), way back in 2011. It's been an interesting several years, tbh, I can't even believe that 6 years have passed since I learned about Bitcoin.

With Bitcoin, anything is possible. I mean sure, I don't want to see Bitcoin's price fall any more than this, and for sure I'd like it to go to 10k and obviously, far more in the future. But we've all seen that Bitcoin is not a liquid market, a bunch of people can move prices up and down.
I made a profit of $5 shorting(I know, meager), but somebody lost those 5 bucks.

Question. Can I place...advanced orders on the site without any third party tools? I am talking about margin sell/buy WHEN price goes below(or above) a certain price? And then trail that order.

One thing to note, we could be entering bubble territory if the price begins to deviate sharply from what mining ROI hashrate supports. By my back-of-the-napkin calculations, that level is right around $4k/btc. And note that the hashrate increases have somewhat slowed as of late. I'm hoping that is only temporary. Now some of this money coming in could really be institutional hedge fund money, who are taking large long positions. Hopefully they have better long term vision than the millions of kiddies with their $200 overnight bets burning a hole in their pocket. Haha, I think we will see what happens on the 25th i if thats still the day the fork hits IMO looks like a bit of a bubble - will be happy if 'm wrong though - I'm hedging both ways LOL How though? If you short AND go long, sounds like in the end you will end up with 1-2% of loss.

Watch out, the exchange is incredibly broken right now, I think they might pull a coin heist soon.

If i hit one block i have to finish him? Because i won' t mine 24 hours a day. There is no start or finish or accumulating shares on solo. Mine whenever you want to mine here. But for take some profit if i hit a block (and this won' t happen often) i have to mine all i can and finish him right? How i can know that i hit one block? You find a block, you can stop right away. You will just need to wait for some confirmations and thats it.
