101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: March 03, 2019, 09:29:41 AM
Just don't buy some random ERC20 tokens and hope to get lucky. Better get into the strong coins like Ethereum.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QUSD (QUSD) Low-Volatility Stablecoin "QUSD token" [OFFICIAL] on: March 03, 2019, 09:28:20 AM
If you get to the top of the exchanges, it will be very good in the future, but no matter how sad it may sound, then without advertising there will be no one even selling them, and the price will be very small
Unfortunately, the technical side of technology does not bother anyone. Today, marketing occupies a dominant position. If a project has good marketing, it means that the project has a chance of becoming popular and famous among investors.

At first comes the technology for sure. If the technology is bad and the network at risk, even marketing won't make up for the moment when the network blows up.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: March 03, 2019, 09:26:30 AM
Absolutely not, regulation is harmful and does not affect scam. Scammers will find a way to bypass the regulation and we will just get extra difficulties.
We dont need no regulation.

Without any regulation whatsoever this is going to end badly. You do need some regulation. Sure scammers will keep scamming, but that will be the case forever.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 best year for ICO on: February 23, 2019, 10:35:31 AM
I would not be such an optimist in this regard. all goes to the fact that all new ico projects will be thoroughly checked and therefore the ico number will decrease as most of them are a scam. look at 2019 and the number of ico in it, it has fallen a lot. People have very little enters into ico in 2019 because this year is not lucky for the crypto market and because people realized that most of the ico is thrown away in vain money

Also, while both the number of people aware of crypto as well as the number of projects launched increased exponentially, it is still not possible that the average project raises tens of millions of dollars. The money has to come from somewhere.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: February 23, 2019, 10:33:59 AM
ICOs really need to be regulated ,i think that is what the market really need especially now that so many scam projects are out there.
In fact scam projects always look for new investors and there are different tricks to attract that people. Regulation will bring more safety and freedom to crypto sector and it will not be easy to enter market without proper work, team and more.

The most effective way to make it harder for scammers is self-education. All of us will make a mistake once, or maybe even twice, but over time it will get harder for the scammers as their schemes need to become more original.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QUSD (QUSD) Low-Volatility Stablecoin "QUSD token" [OFFICIAL] on: February 23, 2019, 10:31:42 AM
There are very few people who possess such skills. It is necessary to be a professional investor to be able to accurately determine the point of entry and exit of their investments.
And stable coins play quite an important role in fixing the profit.
It seems to me that stable coins are more instruments of crypto traders than ordinary crypto investors.

This is correct as they mostly get used as a hedging instrument. And they are also quite risky given that there needs to be a centrally controlled reserve somewhere.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 23, 2019, 10:29:51 AM
So many of the altcoins are yet to have what will get them established in the crypto market, therefore their prices fluctuate tremendously. Which then means that, you might not be able to manage them well.
So to save yourself the stress, it will be better you invest in the top coins, such as bitcoin and ethereum.

They are all lacking the same issue: demand. Most of those decentralized applications are just not needed (yet) and without demand, you know where the price will go.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [JPM] JPM Coin on: February 23, 2019, 10:27:03 AM
I smell something fishy with this thread, seems the people behind are using the controversy of JPM about being critical to Bitcoin, and they are using it now to collect funds? New era of scamming people isn't it?
I am agree with you, something is not right here. I am currently research the links provided by op. Honestly, project looks like too good to be true.

What links? This project is so badass it don't need no stinkin' links.

Maybe its just not for you, bro. If you can't handle the heat, don't come a knockin'. Or something.

edit: how can this guy be currently researching links if they don't exist??

Trust me, he just takes forensics to a different level. He'll come back. With results. I know these guys on this forum. They find evidence where nothing exists, and they find nothing where evidence exists.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN][ICO][MYO]🔥 MYCRO JOBS ANN Thread Offline on: February 23, 2019, 10:22:45 AM
Dear Bitcointalk Supporter,

Unfortunately, we are forced to take the Mycro ANN Thread offline.
Since 4 months we have problems with our payment.
We also have not received the payment for February so far.
Mycro.Jobs shows no reaction to our invoices and emails.
After solving our problem we will go back online and be there for you.

We hope for your understanding.
Thank you so far.

Best,
MA.CAPITALS
So, what happens? The team doesn't care about marketing? Have you tried to communicate with the dev or MycroJobs Team via telegram before? Really, this made me feel shocked because I'm very hope into this project.
Dear Bounty Hunters,

We are sorry for the confusion.
We could clarify our problem.

The bounty program of Mycro.Jobs is online.

Thank you for your patience!
Keep going with that good work.

Best,
Bounty Manager

It would be kinda hilarious if these guys fail to meet their obligations while building a platform and a community being all about micro jobs and reliable payments... Cheesy
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: February 23, 2019, 10:19:38 AM
I am sure that the price of cryptocurrency will be better in the near future and strong players will definitely enter the market!

What strong players are you referring to? Which of the strong players are missing in the market? Essentially every single big company is into blockchain already. Or maybe you know more?
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTXC][PoS]BETTEX COIN on: February 18, 2019, 12:44:45 PM
How much of the revenue or profits you make will go back to the token holders and is that number fixed or can it be changed over time?
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [JPM] JPM Coin on: February 18, 2019, 12:44:07 PM
This is an awesome thread!!! Cheesy I also like that you took a picture from that guy and put it as your avatar. Nice one, this should get some press attention in a best case scenario!! Cheesy
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 18, 2019, 12:42:38 PM
Buy ethereum I think this is the right choice, no doubt about this coin, as the best altcoin of course you will benefit from what you are investing now, so don't hesitate to invest in ethereumn

Ethereum is a good suggestion given that they also transition to a POS system and make the coin more scarce due to people staking their ETH.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: February 18, 2019, 12:41:56 PM
i think cryptocurrency are still great , the top coin still have price and still work till now since 7-8 years ago , so i think  that not bad thing

The top currencies are in a great position as they have historical meaning. Bitcoin will always be associated with this revolution first and as such may establish itself as the strongest digital currency ever.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QUSD (QUSD) Low-Volatility Stablecoin "QUSD token" [OFFICIAL] on: February 18, 2019, 12:40:57 PM
All this will take a lot of time, effort and of course finance, well, there is no hurry for anything, we will watch everything that happens
In order to get a successful product you need a lot of money, effort and time. I want to believe that team QUSD will succeed in making your project a success. But I also understand that it will not be easy.
Usually, those projects that are developing over the year are very suspicious, as for me, everything should be gradual and a couple of years, in the end, the final result will be better

They also ignore some of the questions that are asked here. Also not a good sign for a professional team. The time horizon is also short as you said.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one is using dapps on: February 18, 2019, 12:39:40 PM
I regularly read the news and know that only 10% of Dapps are used on the ETH network. Perhaps it was only created to display instead of used and users are only interested in prices instead of products created.

As I said before, many of the dApps are just not good enough to convince users to abandon their centralized apps.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency unpredictability on: February 18, 2019, 12:38:46 PM
from the beginning I joined the crypto currency I have realized that crypto currencies are very volatile and the price is very difficult to predict. they can go to the moon in one night and can fall back in a matter of hours.
therefore crypto currency is very risky for the community
because price fluctuations make crypto difficult to predict, prices can go up or down at any time, crypto is very risky especially
for beginners who don't have a lot of knowledge, with unpredictable nature making the risk of loss getting bigger

Crypto isn't difficult to predict because of the price fluctuations, it is also because of its extreme innovative potential. If you invest in a blockchain today, it could be obsolete in half a year from now because a better solution will be brought to market. It's dangerous in that respect.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: February 18, 2019, 12:37:31 PM
I often look into this topic, many agree that regulation is extremely necessary , but so far I have not seen proposals on how to implement it and I do not even imagine myself, this is the problem, how to implement it all?

Regulation is difficult to develop and implement if something is brand new. We have seen the same problems with the internet itself back then.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 15, 2019, 04:24:25 PM
if you ask about invest then i suggest btc because it's the most stable coin.
dont need to look the price everyday, just buy and keep it for 1 or 2 year.
its different if you want to trade, you must choose the great coin at that time, because trading can give you fast profit and also with risk.
Bitcoin first and if you started to become knowledgeable about the market, you can do deeper with these altcoins. Likewise, go for bitcoin for the first time and beginner investors would feel excited on how much you'll make with it. Don't fall for those altcoins that has nothing to do with you and can even make your standing worst of having an exit scam.

In the end you also need a good chunk of luck to hit an alt coin that goes up several times. Many people will tell you it's only about analysis, but believe luck is a good part of the success in crypto.

Using common sense and not getting blinded by greed is important, too.
Some altcoins really needed luck before investing and don't do this if you are into altcoins. Someone who's investing into altcoins and totally depends to luck isn't doing his research. A beginner shouldn't go with his luck otherwise he has to learn about the basic fundamentals on what coins are good to invest.

Can you tell me about 5 alt coins where you think with 90% certainty that they will go up significantly? It is impossible to predict that as this is a fast moving space with new ideas and technologies coming in on a daily basis. There are also factors like regulation, which you can't very effectively influence.

A little luck is definitely required here and there to hit a big one.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: February 15, 2019, 04:19:27 PM
no one knows what will happen in the future, whether it will be as beautiful as 2017 or just have an equivalent value like this, but certainly if in my opinion it will be like 2017

If the capitalization overall grows into the trillions one day, we will see a lot of price action for many of the established coins.
