101  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitstamp requiring verification for BTC withdrawal? on: November 22, 2013, 07:44:46 PM
Bitstamp has been like that since September.
You should be able to do it on BTC-e tho. Also you can deposit fiat there without verification (if you accept the 30-day money hold when using wire transfer)
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lmao @ people buying subway and etc w/ BTC!!! on: November 22, 2013, 05:50:19 PM
Are you f***ing serious?? lol.... You do realize that in a year or two, that BTC you just spent is gonna be worth a lot more... congratulations, you just bought a sandwich for $300 LOL!! These stores are smart to accept bitcoins and store as much as they can early on

are you serious? when you buy BTC, just buy more by the amount you'd be willing to spend in cash. unless you're talking about people who are willing to starve themselves to become rich on BTC one day.

also encouraging people to hoard their BTC is not really going to help the value of yours.

Stupid OP's gonna be stupid
103  Economy / Speculation / Re: anyone successfully arbitrage trade bitcoins on: November 22, 2013, 10:32:12 AM
How would you go about getting USD into BTC-E without giving up your 1st born?

1% fee and cheaper coins, I think it's the best currently
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: November 21, 2013, 09:07:18 PM
If you have a bank account in EU and Hong Kong it should be doable. Just split your funds so you can buy up coins in EU right after you sold in China. If you have to wait for wire transfers etc, any swing end price could wipe out your profits
105  Economy / Lending / Re: [Loan] 0.5 BTC on: November 21, 2013, 01:11:43 PM
Stupid scammer Tongue
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Re: bitcoin inflation, the end is near on: November 21, 2013, 01:07:11 PM
Didn't you earn a lot more than that via your professional gambling service?
Or is this loan meant for the website that offers this service?
as I said earlier this has nothing to do with gambling
All my money from that actually all of my BTC was wired via MtGox after the huge spike.

I don't believe you would withdraw from Gox
107  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTCJam on: November 21, 2013, 12:59:26 PM
Scam site with scam staff and full of scam borrowers.

Btcjam is stealing from investors and ignoring all contact.
108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Opinion on the US on: November 21, 2013, 11:50:18 AM
A very hostile country with very aggressive foreign policy and a straight up stupid monetary policy which transfers the wealth further to the monopolists.
The spying on your allies didn't exactly get you alot of positive PR. The 25+ wars you have started the last 50 years didn't help alot either and your countrys kill count is slowly, but steadily cathing up on Germany in the Hitler era.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: The end is near! My mum is thinking of buying Bitcoins. on: November 21, 2013, 10:42:55 AM
Buy her some! or make her buy some for everyone! But it might not even rise anymore!

Oh but it will.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Encrypt textedit doc on: November 20, 2013, 04:52:06 PM
Hey
I'm by no means, an expert in GPG and encryption, why I came here.

So I wanna encrypt my private key in a text edit document and upload it in a wuala/drive account for maximum mobility. Since I'm not aware of my PGP Public key, I was wondering if I could just encrypt with a passphrase. By not having it encrypted with a key pair, but a passphrase only, I don't rely on the GPG and I would be able to retrieve it on any computer.
Also, if GPGtools.org were to disappear before I'm claiming my private key, would I be able to download any encryption client and access it?

Please correct if my assumptions are wrong Smiley

112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: looking for a place to buy bitcoin with credit card. on: November 19, 2013, 12:02:16 PM
You shouldn't buy with credit card. If the amount is above $1000 you can easily use BTC-e with wire transfer and just wait the 30 freeze on your funds, that is if you dont verify
113  Economy / Economics / Re: The end is near! My mum is thinking of buying Bitcoins. on: November 19, 2013, 10:42:07 AM
Ye I bought for some family members @ $250, they are ecstatic right now. Smiley
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I'm boycotting bitcoins. on: November 19, 2013, 12:46:16 AM

Bitcoins are basically just this weird attempt by lolbertarian children to make their own currency and play stock market and dodge taxes.

Going pretty good so far

115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You don't have to buy a whole Bitcoin! You can buy partial! on: November 19, 2013, 12:26:52 AM
You both miss the point entirely. This is the perfect example of a pyramid scheme in action. As early adopters, we all had the chance to buy several coins, but now its our duty to convince others they can still get in on the action, even if they can`t buy a full coin?

It`s just a shameless effort to profit off the backs of others. For a group of people who largely consider themselves freedom fighters against the scurge of bankers and government regulators, you are all beginning to sound like you`ve found good company. Makes me sick... I did not get into bitcoins to profit off of others via investment schemes. I wanted to see bitcoin succeed. But alas, human nature is a strong force to reckon with.

That's like saying Facebook is a scheme cause Bono made alot of money from it..
