101  Economy / Lending / Re: Loimu's lending service [Available: 0.1BTC] on: February 15, 2016, 09:35:17 PM
Isn't the point of collateral minimising said risk, and covering any loses (+ extend) in case of a default?
Sure is. However the one requesting loan is still asking to be trusted, I am not. I do this for the honest profit from loans and offer the service for those requesting loan from me. I am still the one who even decides if the collateral offered is worth the risk in the first place and take the risk on getting account (or similar collateral) sold to pay my losses.

Rule of thumb is at least around 120%, although it also can be more.
Did you read my first post? There in the terms of service it indeed clearly states that I expect minimum of 120% worth in collateral from untrusted members.

Age doesn't prove anything. You could be a bought account (it happens), and even if not, being here long doesn't give you a superior trust status.
No, it doesn't and I didn't say it would? I was replying to user who referred on my 'rank' and 'trust status', and to my knowledge at least the rank part also requests some time being here. I simply pointed out that I for example, have been here longer than the user I was replying to if we look at things such as rank.

Where you trusted them, they didn't have to trust you.
Very true also. However showing trust usually means you can be trusted too? I mean seriously, if I trust more than $200 worth of bitcoins to user from here, why would I start loaning service offering micro loans with $40 bankroll? Like said, these are 'extra' bitcoins I have in easily movable form right now. I had really good experience on those loans and I thought that is something I could try to do more regularly to earn some intrest for the extra coins I have. I also understand that I still took a bit of a gamble when I funded those previous loans without any collateral, as you can see from the last post I made to the loan over $200. That is why now that I intend to do this more often I wanted to protect myself and demand some sort of a collateral from users which cannot show lot of trust here.

It's a reflex to protect others, not to trash you.
Hopefully so. To me it seems insulting to try to point out my 'trust' or 'rank' here in a negative way when from my perspective I have shown nothing but trust towards the forum.

There we go.
And I have never even tried to state otherwise? To me this whole escrow thing makes perfect sense and like said, I am glad to use one if the user requesting one can show any kind of proof here more than I can and is willing to pay the fee. Needless to say the escrow should also be highest of trust out of us three. Yes, we can even make if for anyone requesting a loan for the first loans, no issue for me. I just don't understand the need for it when I am the one risking my BTC, offering micro loan of maximum $40, to possibly newbie user without any kind of trust to show here in any way. But like said, sure, if the loan requester pays for it and demands one we can use one.

Well, that's something you and your borrowers have agree on, providing you will find some.
Good catch on the escort typo, I am not native English speaker and that was totally accidental. I hope this post answers to some questions already if anyone is in doubt of using my service. If not that's fine too, after all I really have no expectations and this was intended to be fun and good thing for the users of this forum.
102  Economy / Lending / Re: Loimu's lending service [Available: 0.1BTC] on: February 15, 2016, 08:18:21 PM
Well its going to be recommended by others anyway: Collateral should be held by trusted escrows, considering your rank and trust status.

Please explain me why is this? I am the person taking risk here loaning my bitcoins. The user who wants a loan from me should be OK trusting his collateral with me, which should be worth around the same with the loan anyway. I have been in this forum since 2013. I have also proven my trust at least in some ways, for example loaning 0.565BTC to Legendary member without collateral here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1291613 and 0.03BTC to Full Member without collateral here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1291276

I must say I find your post bit insulting and just cannot understand why would you come and trash my loan service thread right away without any good reason? Anyway, escrow can be used to hold the collateral. If the person who is asking for the loan can show more proof of trust in this forum than I can and demands escrow, we can surely use one, provided that the user asking for the loan also pays the fee if such is applied.
103  Economy / Lending / Re: Loimu's lending service [Available: 0.1BTC] on: February 15, 2016, 08:00:18 PM
RESERVED FOR LISTING RUNNING LOANS.
104  Economy / Lending / Loimu's lending service [Available: 0.135BTC] on: February 15, 2016, 07:59:17 PM
Available to loan: 135mBTC (or 0.135BTC)

I decided to open my own lending service as I have some 'extra' bitcoins just lying around; why not help users in need and gain some intrest myself while at it. I have already funded some loans requested here and had a good and positive experience from those. Now I am ready to offer a loan to anyone requesting it within my terms. Loans will be provided with collateral for most users and without collateral for highly trusted members of the forum.

What is accepted as collateral?
* Bitcointalk.org accounts (with signed message)
* Other cryptocurrencies (Litecoin, Etherum, Dash, Dogecoin)
* Digital goods (domains, BitGold, CS:GO skins etc)
* Physical goods (electronics, precious metals)

Terms of Service
* Collateral needs to be worth minimum 120% of the requested loan.
* Collateral will be sold and loan seen as defaulted if you miss the repayment date and do not contact me.
* I will only deal with requests posted here in public. Do not contact only by PM.
* Your reason for the loan does not matter. I do not care if you spend it on drugs, rent, food, gambling, investing or something else. All I care is that you pay it back.
* All loans are based in BTC and not tied to USD in any way. You loan BTC, you pay back BTC with intrest.
* Intrest depends on your collateral quality and the timeframe of the loan.
* Maximum loan period accepted is 15 days.
* Interest of 10% per day will apply in case of failure to repay on agreed date.

106  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Earn Satoshi || Up to 50K every 10 Minutes! || InstantSatoshi.com on: February 15, 2016, 07:08:07 PM
All right. The site does seem very promising. I believe the first payout was real and currently the prize per claim is one of the best I've seen. I was bit late to the party when it comes to the first payout but since it is weekly we should see another one soon enough.

However there are still lot room for improvement too. I think that the 1.5 million satoshi minimum withdraw is too high, and would lower it to ½ or even ⅓ as 500 000 satoshi limit would be much more appealing for users. It would still probably take the week or even more for normal user to reach that, meaning users who do not get referrals. It would still be high enough too, so that you get paid only if you really use the site and are 'loyal'. And now that I mentioned referrals - I would like to see also statistics on how much referrals have earned for me. Now I can only see how many referrals I've got and if I use the faucet myself too it's hard to tell exactly how much the referrals have contributed. Of course I would love for the payout percentage from referrals to be higher too. There are many highly successful sites which use 50% like Freebitco.in or BonusBitcoin.

Other than that I like the site so far. I included it on my faucetlist too; http://bittikolikot.com/freebits/

107  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Domains btclassic.com - btcclassic.org on: February 15, 2016, 02:49:19 PM
How much are you looking to get for these? So often you see domains like these going for ridiculous prices, seller estimating the worth what it could be far too high. I am interested but not ready to pay too much Smiley
108  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] 0.6g BitGold ($24.29) for $20 BTC on: February 15, 2016, 02:35:40 PM

Long time? It hasn't even been a month. But yes, it's nice to see price up here again!
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you selling your bitcoins? on: February 14, 2016, 03:21:29 PM
I am selling if I need something and it can be bought with bitcoins. Otherwise I will just be buying more bitcoins with fiat.
111  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] 0.6g BitGold ($24.29) for $20 BTC on: February 14, 2016, 03:19:00 PM

112  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bittikolikot.com - Earn 59 000+ satoshis every hour on: February 14, 2016, 02:37:42 PM
It depends because the faucet owners gets different amount paid for different countries watching their ads.
113  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bonus Bitcoin - Faucet + 5% daily - claim up to 5k satoshi on: February 12, 2016, 12:01:40 PM
What is the overall situation in this? Why no updates in two weeks? Will we ever get the pending balances before 23rd of January? Will there be raise in the rewards or is this site as good as dead?
114  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] 0.6g BitGold ($24.29) for $20 BTC on: February 12, 2016, 09:04:30 AM
If you are ready - you can send it.

Lets agree what is 20USD is in BTC

What do you mean with that? Send it where? I am ready. Smiley

20 USD is right now 52.75mBTC (0.05275 BTC) according to Bitstamp's rate. That indeed is the price I am looking for 0.6g of BitGold gold.
115  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bittikolikot.com - Earn 59 000+ satoshis every hour on: February 12, 2016, 09:01:15 AM
Nice faucet btw if you got 1 satoshi
use vpn and set to usa or uk  Wink

Good tip! Indeed some of the faucets seem to have some kind of scripts in place to have smaller rewards for some countries. Many European countries will get higher reward too. I live in Europe and do get all the correct rewards without any kind of VPNs Smiley
116  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns for newbies. on: February 12, 2016, 08:53:04 AM
Are signiture campaigns even worth it? How much can one expect in esrnings?

It totally depends on the campaign, your member level here and generally your activity. In any case it's not much for sure. I do not spam, I only write here on the forums when I actually want to say something and have time to write proper message. I registered to signature campaign on December (over 1.5 months ago that is) and so far I have earned around 16mBTC (~$6.1).

So $6.1 earnings in 1.5 months tells us this is definitely not going to make you rich. It is still free money though and if you don't stress about it too much I find it great way to earn some pennies while simply enjoying the forum and participating.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 12, 2016, 08:48:38 AM
Yes, I absolutely believe that still is very good time to buy one bitcoin if you are investing long term. For sure. The price will go higher inevitably.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 within 16/2 ? on: February 12, 2016, 08:34:23 AM
I think bitcoin prices will actually reach $ 400 and even more this year, a lot of positive news about it, even on facebook and I hope it will be better than yesterday's price and not go down again

Yeah sure, many of us think that. But nobody talked about 'this year' in general this topic, we are now speculating if $400 will be crushed by 16th February, which is within a week. I personally think yes.
119  Economy / Digital goods / [SOLD] 0.6g BitGold ($24.29) for $20 BTC on: February 12, 2016, 08:31:19 AM
Hi guys,

I have currently about 0.6g BitGold and I just realized I cannot withdraw it yet as the minimum for that would be 1g of Gold. What I can do, is buy bit more with my credit card and withdraw after but I really wouldn't want to buy more... So that's why I thought to try if someone wants to buy these. Value of the gold is now $24.29 and you can have it all for BTC $20.

Hit me up with PM if interested!

EDIT: Already sold, thanks for anyone interested!
