It is a miracle that ETC can survive and survive from hard forks. The future development of ETC is still worth looking forward to.
Of course yes, ETC is the original of ethereum blockchain, so basically ETC is real ethereum, ETC is decentralize, immutable and unstopable. That is why i have made investment in ETC for long term, ETC is worth. Indeed this is on the original chain and in future it will get succeed to take over the ETH. This is great opportunity for those who missed the rise of ETH so they can make secure their future by investing into this project. It is not likely that etc will surpass eth. But it is very likely that the etc/eth ratio will improve in the coming months.

What the hell is going on with the project. Everything is collapsing very quickly, the price has fallen to the bottom or not?
It is pretty hard to predict where is the bottom for this project because there is no buy support so it could collapse to more deeper. It becoming hard to get recover on other hand situation is also getting worse as day as passing and it has been lost its charm. The bottom of every coin is as always zero, and that also goes for this token, it is heading towards zero. Actually i never see any coin with 0 Value , isnt bottom like 1 Satoshi ? Actually does anyone had a chance to sell on exchange token with 0 satoshi ? Does it works ? For me dead coin is when there is almost no volume for 2-4 weeks and its get delisted from exchanges . I know in cryptopia there is alot of dead coins still listed . Cryptopia also got ltc and doge pairs for coins worth less then 1 satoshi. A pow/pos coin might still be alive without any exchanges/development as long as there is some nodes and miners.

It might be profitable to speculate short term, but ripple will eventually be wortless. It is a completly useless token, or security. It serves no purpose, it is not a blockchain and not a crypto currency.

At the current levels:
1. Bitcoin is undervalued and will recover. 2. Most alts are still extremly undervalued.
But it might take years for bitcoin to recover. And most alts will die and be replaced by new useless alts.

Ethereum Classic on Coinbase is a really huge news especially with the fact that it's doing a lot of acquisitions to expand their services (talking about OTC trading, margin trading and so on...)
This is really important. And it came as a suprise. After this long I never tought it would happen.

Bitcoin is the past, the present and the future.
Isn't eos supposed to take over ethereum's market cap soon? I read somewhere that eth = myspace and eos = facebook.

Confirmed all coins offloaded from Cryptopia into my wallet.
Waiting on @Tranz for good news Their move !!!!
It's not exactly clear. Is there official notice from Cryptopia to remove balances by a certain date? If everyone removes balances? What? If nobody removes balances? What ? Good questions! The best option is probably to not withdraw until they set a date. As long as there is a lot of coins on the exchange it might sway them to reopen the market. The coins lost not staking is definatly worth the cause.

Cryptopia has informed they are are fully sync'd and have received the 1 million. I am trying to find the best way to send the remaining coins, but also to ensure people can withdrawal. I am looking for someone how has a large number on the site, is on the correct version, and correct height; as seen at http://cap.altcoinwarz.com/ or by looking at the current checkpoint and getinfo. Please let me know if you fit this bill and we can work with Crypoptia to ensure all is well before the full amount is sent.. Thanks! I don't see any reasons why you shouldn't send all the coins right away. For those with coins stuck on cryptopia it is much better that the coins are in cryptopias possession than yours.

With the current price of 1 satoshi, the total devcoin market cap is 164,0795 btc. $1.219.931 with the current bitcoin price.
On coinmarketcap devcoin would be number 838.

Great project! I advise everyone to participate in it! A very interesting idea! I'm sure it will be in great demand! One of the most promising and successful projects nowdays! I advise everyone to join and watch the development!
from 15 cts to 7cts in a week... deposit not processed after a week, double withdraws, sms verification requested and account unusable since then as the sms service is not working ... and last but not least an awful customer service (rude, inefficient and not responsive). You can find dozens of testimony on twitter those last hours-days. and you try to promote this low quality room by just saying "great project".... waouh definitly an awesome promotion I have been using online poker since 2008... this room is one of the worse ever made. lsgnaija it not promoting anything, just spamming usless comments because of some signature campaign. Don't believe anything you read on bitcointalk. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Your comment is spot on. Coinpoker is useless and will undoubtedly fail.

unfortunately the price is still small ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Callisto will take off someday, just hodl your Callisto tightly. That's extremely unlikely. Callisto is useless. And with 6.5 billion coin supply the price will only decline. Don't risk your private keys claiming useless fork coins.

The Winklevoss twin’s trading platform will begin accepting deposits in Zcash on May 19 with the same being extended to Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum Classic at a later, undisclosed date.
Do you have any source where etc is mentioned? The official press release only included bitcoin and zcash.

Should I upgrade this wallet every time if I'm just holding some coins?
No reason to upgrade if you don't plan too stake or move coins. Just upgrade the next time you need too move coins. wrong. It is a mandatory upgrade ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) it's a mandatory update but as long as you have your private key(s) your are fine. If you don't plan to send coins and you're not staking them you don't have to update anything. Every wallet works this way. Anyway, for all the others: Update your wallet guys!Sooner rather than later he will be sending coins anyways so why not do it now lol. Besides it only takes 2 minutes, you only download the ZIP file. Replace the old wallet with the new one and you are good ( if you have your wallet.dat in %appdata% it will sync automatically ) His question was whether he should update if he plans to hold only, the answer is no. Not everyone is able to stay on date with all the update we have. You are making it harder than it is lol. Devs: This is a mandatory upgrade. JJack@: ok JJack@: Thanks, it took 2 minutes and my coins are now safer! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) You seem to lack basic understanding of how DeepOnion (bitcoin) works. There is a lot of good arguments why you should upgrade. That the coins are safer is simply not true. Your coins are much safer without an upgraded wallet installed on your computer. If you plan to hodl your coins you should encrypt your wallet.dat, and delete the wallet from your online computer. (And only install when you plan too send the coins. If he wants to send the coins 2 years from now, there will problably be a lot of hard forks before that. It is a complete waiste of time installing every upgrade and it is risky storing private keys on an online computer. No offence but while your argument is true that a wallet that is offline is safest, your argument is also flawed. DeepOnion is a PoS coin so needs to be online at some point to claim the mining reward, a wallet stored offline for years on end will miss out. Secondly, it is my humble opinion, which I know many security experts support, that there is no such thing as a perfect piece of code especially as it becomes more than a few 100 lines. The fact that you need to have your wallet online for reasons other than sending means it is very important any security risks caused by human error in the code need to be fixed if found, rather than left for someone to exploit, this exploit could lead to someone hacking your wallet and stealing your coins, so yes, there is a great possibility upgrading your wallet will make your coins safer. Unless we know what security risks were patched, it is difficult to say that this fix did not make our coins safer. You are right, 10% of PoS rewards (which will change to 5% in July and later to 1%) is not a small percentage for holders. Also, updated wallet which is online is a ToR node (not an exit node) which makes the whole network stronger. Most people should definitely upgrade and stake their coins. But if someone just wants to hodl, like bbv4pawn, it is not necessary. And that was what he asked about. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Big holders will upgrade and stake their coins. If some smaller holders don't it will not reduce the security of the coin in any signifcant way.

ETSC is currently listed on only one exchange so I would not count towards the idea that other exchanges will make any Airdrop to ETC hodlers.
And with only 101 million etc and 2.5 billion etcs it's completely meaningless to claim the airdropped coins anyway. Everyone should be careful with their private keys.
