101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dutch bank Rabobank announces crypto wallet on: February 28, 2018, 11:43:08 PM
This is good news for cryptocurrencies because some people only trust banks and banks adopting crypto means it will bring more newcomers into crypto.

Some people don't like banks so they don't have to use them!
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India taking measures to control crypto on: February 28, 2018, 11:39:05 PM
Previously there was news of complete bans so regulations are better than bans.

China has banned crypto completely according to many news articles. If China was also regulating crypto then it would have been much better.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: February 28, 2018, 11:15:10 PM
There are many videos on the internet for beginners that you can show them so that they understand the basic idea of Bitcoin.

You can also use toys and make a story about bitcoin if the children are really small. Many teenagers will automatically be interested in new technology and will learn more about this.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to get a bicycle brand on the blockchain? on: February 28, 2018, 09:40:31 PM
I think this is a very interesting idea. You need electrical experience and a blockchain developer and they can definitely create a bicycle that runs on blockchain in the lab. It will difficult for it to become popular but it will be an interesting thing as a science experiment.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: February 28, 2018, 09:13:48 PM
wow looking back at the thread people knew about Bitcoin becoming big and making them rich! I have earned a lot of money through bitcoin too but I don't think I am the "new wealthy elite" as many of the really early adopted.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For how long will bitcoin exist on: February 28, 2018, 08:39:22 PM
Bitcoin will exist for a long time. For hundreds of years. No one can force Bitcoin to shut down. Only internet is required for Bitcoin to continue existing.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prediction bitcoin in the future on: February 28, 2018, 07:47:30 PM
One thing is certain, bitcoin prices will rise in near future. It would be good for coming 5 years at least. I don't know if the bubble would burst after that.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the price be stable? on: February 28, 2018, 07:45:58 PM
Not now at least. It is gonna fluctuate a lot in 2018. The prices will go up until all the coins are mined. After that, we can expect some stability.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: February 28, 2018, 07:15:05 PM
Haha, this sounds like a joke. If you had some other property, then I would say go ahead. But selling your own house to buy bitcoin. It can be very risky.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2018, 07:13:22 PM
I think everyone is gonna suggest the same thing. Selling bitcoin at this point is not wise at all. Hold as much as you can. Bitcoin will reach the sky soon.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if the prices down again? on: February 28, 2018, 09:56:13 AM
No one can predict that prices will go down.

But if you think that prices will go down then that means you can sell your bitcoins now and then rebuy the bitcoins when the prices are low that will increase your number of bitcoins but this is not guaranteed because if the price increases then you will keep waiting for the price to go down and then you lose all your investment.
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ? on: February 28, 2018, 09:49:29 AM
Yes I always buy when the price drops sharply.

You should at every drip if you have the money. Bitcoin's price will increase a lot in the future so buying at any price makes sense but buying at low points mean you will easily make a profit. It can also take a long time but buying and holding is a good way to make a profit.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: February 28, 2018, 12:21:56 AM
Never been a fan of XVG, I must admit that I was wrong though. They really pumped well. I guess marketing and Mcafee are more important than actual anonymity.  I just hope XMR will copy XVGs simple shit and become even better.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum To Be $5000-$10000 in 2018? on: February 28, 2018, 12:10:13 AM
2018 idk man.  Could take a few years, maybe when PoS has proven itself.

Don't compare it too much to Bitcoin as the supply of ETH is 5x as much.  ETH has a good chance though as it's not just faster than bitcoin. However, more competitors are joining that can be considered even better, most investors are unaware of them though.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: February 28, 2018, 12:09:05 AM
I dreamt for years and I've made a lot of money, I'm not satisfied and will keep hodling. I'll become rich one day, richer than most of you'd consider rich.

I want to keep dreaming and to enjoy the journey. I'll buy more bitcoins as I get older.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Swissborg ICO & CHSB on: February 28, 2018, 12:08:13 AM
I remember on an exchange the CHSB had a really funny name.  Actually I forgot I had that exchange, thanks for reminding me, I also should buy some more.

Too lazy to buy right now, if only it was made easier.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: There's a new economy growing on this forum - Merit on: February 27, 2018, 10:11:10 PM
lol. We need a ICO for MeritCoin. It needs to be on the exchanges! Everyone pump and dump some merit.

But seriously yes the new system of merit has made merit a lot more valuable but you can still earn merit if you make good posts so it is not that bad. It will help improve the quality of posts on this forum.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Animosity Towards Banks on: February 27, 2018, 12:28:21 AM
Big banks have fucked up a lot and their boards are full of corrupt and selfish people. Their main goal ismaking profit but it should be growing the economies and preventing economic disasters, in some ways they're doing the opposite of what they should.

Fuck banks.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: February 27, 2018, 12:27:18 AM
Some Dutch guy did this and he made a lot of money.  They didn't put everything in it though, they put most of the money safe and put  like 10-20% in crypto, pretty smart. They should have done more though.

Funny how they influenced a lot of dutchies to get into bitcoin and then suddenly it crashed a ltitle.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: February 27, 2018, 12:13:43 AM
I think it is, especially as a store of value. Gold is scarce but bitcoin is limited.

Technically gold can be created out of lead as long as you have enough energy. For now it's not worth it for sure, but who knows in the far future with fusion reactors and all.
