How many BTC/mhps/day will I earn if I start mining this? Will the price rise 100%, 200% or more when it hits cryptsy? I'm not negative, I'm just wondering. Convince me that this is what I should mine until Dope is released!
Dopecoin seems really sketchy. There have already been giveaways even though its not out yet and they promise no pre-mine and the website looks goofy, if people are worried about exchanges associating with Potcoin there is no way that Dopecoin will go

There's someone renting on betarigs with 5 clusters the smallest is 20MH/s and is best value, it could easily just be someone naming their account ASIC-prototype to mess with people

The ticket system doesn't give you a number so you can look it up later nor have I gotten any e-mails. I sent over 200mBTC with no problem but in the past day I've had 9mBTC get stuck up, first one was incorrect amount sent which I'm patient about but this latest one didn't have any problems but still says waiting for funds

got mine at BTC.107 per and they run at 70khs. Also they hash out in BTC only mode as fast as an antminer U1. For four of these it is cheaper than building a whole rig. And it is portable and way cheaper on power. When the price comes down, and it will, those who went all in on GPU for scrypt will be wondering what happened. These will eventually cause difficulty to skyrocket and a new algorithm will need to be developed, sound familiar?
The antminer U1 is 1.6Gh/s and OC easily to 2, the dual miner is only advertised at 500Mh/s what are you getting?

over 2.15 ghash and over 20 diff.. i am not gona bother mining now, lol, this is where i feel holding comes in handy I don't know why you would just stop what else are you going to mine? I think I'm coming to the point where I'll use my PC for gaming again I've been craving ac4 for a week, but I've only got 150kh/s though

I'm holding.
Get it??!?!?!?!
Hahahahaha pot humor.
Okay then.
hah i don't think that's come up yet. my strat with this is the same as btc, hold until i can use it for the thing i want, which by the sound of things won't be too long

pools are definitely being ddos-ed, this is a good sign, hold folks (i am not in anyway involved in ddos-ing, i've just been mining in multiple pools that have been attacked)
how is that good?

It would be nice if there was a QR code option for payment so we could use mobile app. As well as a way for users to contact each other

I saw somewhere that the fundraiser is postponed. Can anyone confirm?
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/ethereum-listens-community-releasing-testnet-174950039.html>Because we intend on providing an equal opportunity to all those who want to be involved, and are reviewing the relevant logistical and regulatory issues for a fundraiser of this scale, we have decided to postpone the Feb 1 launch of the fundraiser. We will make the announcement of the new fundraiser launch date on our official website: Ethereum.org.

I keep getting stratum connection interruption

A lot of the pools keep going offline what is happening?

bitember has gone down again?

Even at the current rates potcoin is highly profitable to mine

Every place I've been to has 'warning signs' for when traffic is flowing. In North America we just call them crosswalks. In NYC you can get a J-walking ticket if you don't use one!

I'm getting huge variance from these miners. It would be nice if you had some sort of contact with the owner and if there was some type of rep system.
I rented a 1400 kh/s from bloodybetarigs which isn't going above even 1Mh/s and another miner I was renting cut to half speed for half an hour.
At the rate they are charging it there shouldn't be any less than advertised.
Over 1 hour (1/3 of contract time) and fastest the 1400Kh/s miner from bloodbetarigs went is 900Kh/s. Coinmine Rig #2, Mining Rig #219

Great service, thanks to Mux. When you start charging, are there any plans on advertising for this? I can't help but feel that the popularity on the forum here is drawing the leasing crowd and not the renting crowd. Maybe I'm wrong on that, but I see this quickly getting to a ultra competitive venture amongst a very large crowd of folks without a healthy group of speculators fueling it.
Either way, the only harm it's currently doing to simply have a rig available is that I effectively can't set a failover for my primary "fallback" pool, so I certainly can't complain! Either way, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how this could continue to grow and prosper.
Advertise on /r/dogecoin on reddit, that will bring in the renters

There needs to be more in the FAQ
what do I need to put in pool url, is that the stratum info? Is pool login/password for the worker?

I've had the same problems. It's annoying because I have two fans on them so they can run a lot higher. Thinking of switching over to cgminer.
When trying to overclock it I will get like half of them not showing up then I have to restart it until they appear again.
|
|
|
Should we switch back over yet?
