okay I have 3 sets of info so far

Guruclef ------- 13,582 starting shares      starting best share 724,261

Landy1264 ---- 306,857 starting shares    starting best share 6,994,043

hedgy73 ------ 315,210  starting shares  starting best share  961,969

Numbers above are from the worker-stats so they were not resetted. We should take the numbers given in the miner-window. They count from start!
..... or am i wrong?

[well staggered times are like speed trials for a car race.

these sticks can do 350 for 24 hours with no problem with cooling and power from a 2x usb source.

If you are the early starter.  and you choose a 350 speed and get the 24 hours in other will set higher but may fail do to a crash and burn.

but remember you can still win  second prize with best share.   Even with a slow setting like 250 freq best share could be won.

Also your high share counts  for the second prize even if you crash and burn.

I think making it a weekend 2 day slot for the staggered time is easy enough.

Hell I don't mind if you pick the time you want.

I just need to be sure the starting screen shot works along with a shot of crytoglance's stats.

I will do a pretend run right now for my stick (i am not going to enter contest)

sounds good to me. I will be running at my max stock speed on my setup and will run at that no matter what anyone else gets. half the fun will be seeing how people with insane speeds got to that with a stock stick.. luck of the draw? black magic? high octane electricity?

Im at GMT-5 (eastern standard time USA).

so basically a 24 hour run with any start time after midnight GMT on 21 November? and we need a screenshot of cgminer/bfgminer and cryptoglances stats page at the start and finish of that 24 hour run?

can we start the run earlier? say I fire it up the night before, screenshot it at 7 AM local time on 21 November, then 24 hours later.. ie a more than 24 hour run as long as at least 24 hours of it is in that time frame. Ive noticed that sometimes the stick is hard to start at high clocks and once it fires at a particular speed it tends to just run.

yeah  we make you first about 7am east coast time.

once you think it is working.  sat 705 or 710 or even 730 am .

post a screenshot of the miner gui.+ crypto glance.
I will post a comparable  matching cryptoglance.
and a shot from ckpool

So I have vapourminer pencilled in at 7am east coast time= EST    sat morning 21st 2015

1)vapourminer   7am EST  = 2am GMT

Next up is ?

I will start and post the screenshot around 6am to 8am GMT+1

the staggered time sounds good to me. i was dreading getting up at midnight or something to do screenshots. and if not me then someone else getting up at some weird hour considering how spread out geographically we are.

only issue might be the later starters would know what hash rate to beat.. someone early on fires up at 350 mhz others who start later know thats the speed to beat.

of course anyone truly competitive will run at speeds just this side of flames no matter what anyone elses speed is heh

I'm @GMT+1.
We should start in a given window. Deadline for starting maybe 10 AM of our local time so i don't have to fire it up 1st!

Does the unmodded mean stock 150MHz frequency or can that be whatever? Its the voltage you mean unmodded?
I think we can go up to .8Vs and as much MHz you can get without changing heat sink or so.
More tuning than modding ...
106  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Nov 11 to Dec 11 SIDEHACK compac stick pool club. New run. on: November 16, 2015, 08:53:51 AM

Is this legit for the OC club, cause I can get one made that is twice as big?

as long as it's air cooled I believe it is Smiley

I would prefer everything unmodded. Stock heatsink, stock voltage ( up to .8V) and power only over the usb-plug ...

Maybe we wait until more members got their Y-cable ready..

We should name the contest somehow like "burnin' down the house", "eternal flame", "the roof is on fire"!  Grin

Try this (search with Google:) ASIN B00ENE55SQ <-power for 2-3 sticks and some of that ASIN B00H2JKHVY <- 1 per stick.

12V out of an atx power supply or similar. Don't try to power them over an usb-hub.

Already done and running!

Thanks for letting me be part of this round!

I PMed to larry12 if i can take his place in this club. He answered: "hi no problem to take my “seat” i’m not in my country right now and i cant manage sidestick."

If it's ok for "the club", i will start on sunday.

Has anyone noticed some "sweetspots"? My sticks runs @150 MHz with a few HW errors (about 3-5/day) but with the same setup @160 MHz with no errors for days!

you realize

A) tweaking the volts will raise or lower your hw
B) quality of hub matters as well

So far every stick I have can do 350 without errors but some sticks will use more power to get to 0 hw

I didn't change anything besides freq. More HW with lower freq @ same voltage and cooling.

There really should be a mandatory reading comprehension test before allowing users to post in this thread...

ah , unfortunately I am no longer able ot parse that site, it appears it uses a yundunkey which acts as a DDOS deterrent. this yundunkey changes everytime and without it I am unable to retried the data back, just an error

Now it works. They have canceled "yundun"-key! Grin

Nice app and good work, but on creating Miner for NeoCoin NeoCoinPOOL@BotPOOL it didn't work for me.
I get "Invalid API KEY or UNABLE TO CHECK". Even the given QR-Code (My Account -> QR Codes) didn't work.
Please check if you have time.
