101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS are the NEXT BIG THING? Add your Valid suggestion here now >>>>> POLL on: May 06, 2018, 11:20:35 PM
I think Waves has a great potential of becoming the next big thing. I won't go in all the hussle and point out one thing, go do your own research if you want to read. Make up your own mind  Wink
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am so stressful with trading coins, I lost 13000$ on: May 05, 2018, 11:53:41 PM
Maybe start with buying at dips and selling at tops? Trading has many tiny little details and it's hard for a starter. Starting like that should help in gaining back your loss and learning the twirks about trading...
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: May 05, 2018, 11:46:56 PM
It is high because it is simpler, not better. It's simply simple, robust. Also it is THE original one. Both of these effect the price being higher than the others. Why price is currently higher? Well, mostly because of the news. Good news increase and bad news decrease the value of bitcoin and any other crypto currency. It's all about the hype!
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: May 02, 2018, 08:55:10 PM
For a long time I thought you were talking about Mercer Frey, I actually thought that the answer to the riddle could be Mercer Frey. It actually made sense for some short moment. But like some said, since this is btctalk, there ought to be something related with bitcoin. Seriously tho mate, I still don't have an answer for the riddle, tough one this is... For now, I'm giving up, I'll be returning to the riddle in my head when the time comes.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which country is heaven for crypto traders and Exchangers? on: May 02, 2018, 08:41:57 PM
I'd say Switzerland is/will be the heaven all is looking for. After all, they are aiming to become "the crypto-nation" then I'd say Russia will be the other after the release of Russian Cryptocurrency, I don't know why but when thinking about that I feel safer about cryptocurrencies.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign is so Tiring so as Merit on: May 01, 2018, 12:26:35 AM
At first, I am so eager to join most of the Bounty Campaigns, I even ignored Airdrops. But lately, I feel like it's so tiring. Some campaign don't even update the sheet and not even paying us tokens. So you feel like not interested anymore. All those efforts are worthless. Additionally with this Merit system, It felt so useless. My activities and posts are way more than qualified but still merit is nowhere to be found. I tried to create replies, and posts nicely and formally like "Jose Rizal" or even "Nicholas Sparks" but still no chance, it makes me anxious. I think this is the punishment for the late bloomer in cryptocurrency. Lol

Your problem is you got into crypto for the wrong reason.

Just like the expression "there's no such thing as a free lunch," there's also no such thing as a free bitcoin.

Waaaaay too many people sign up as members on this forum hoping to create money out of thin air, which doesn't even have a physical existence in actual reality.

That's not the way life works, son.

All the time you spent reading about airdrops and bounties, you should have been studying cryptocurrencies: what makes some better than others, to increase your chances of finding the "next big thing" like many of us did.

I bought into NEM for $60 before it was first released, before the term ICO ever came into existence. Months later I sold it for $600, thinking I was a genius. Had I held onto my original stash, at NEM's peak, it would have been worth OVER HALF A MILLION DOLLARS!

There's new coins going to the moon every single week. Meanwhile you're reading some scammer's post about how you can make money for free and you never even see where the actual potential lies.

Because I pity thee fool, I'm giving you one merit. Hopefully you'll take my words into consideration. Sincerely,

Uncle Nutildah.

Hi Uncle Nutildah,

I appreciate your reply. Reading most of the comments right now, I feel energized especially when I see you gave me Merit. Lol. That's the reality uncle, there's no such thing as Free. You need to work in order to earn. Maybe I'm just too overwhelmed with so much participation I encounter. Maybe too blind to see the reality of the cryptocurrency. Hearing you sold your NEM's, you still a genius because u gain profit from it although the price goes up the way you expected it. For sure you have so many coins ur holding up now.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try to work it out and bear in mind.

PS: I'm not a SON. Smiley

Really encouraging to see individuals like you getting in, with goodwill. Hopefully you'll see the benefit of it soon enough. Just another advice, don't care about the money for now, take this place as it is, a forum, a community. Care for and contribute to community and you'll see it's beneficial to you...
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: April 30, 2018, 11:59:26 PM
You see, it's all about marketing and brand value. Branding of BTC is much, much better than ETH. It's logo resembles a dollar sign and a gold coin, whereas ETH logo looks like a dark Sims icon. Also, BTC is older than ETH, actually the starter of all this and when something about cryptocurrencies hit the mainstream media, it usally is told as a "story about bitcoin" so, for outsiders it's always bitcoin, not ethereum, not neo, not ripple. None has or will ever have the brand value of bitcoin.

For example: When an outsider listen to some news about "Alternate Cryptocurrenct Ripple just doubled its price"

He will interpret this news in his mind as "Bitcoin thingy doubled its price" and will tell the story like that.

This is why bitcoin will always be the leader.
108  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: April 30, 2018, 11:49:45 PM
"User is blatantly asking to buy bct accounts, likely to shitpost with or scam. Either way, this user is not to be trusted."

With this trust, I'm not buying any shit you're selling mate. Stop shitposting and actually contribute to the community, maybe you'll earn even more doing so, what'd ya say?

C'mon guys, don't give credit to this fudder, just because your sorry ass can't make any profit from this thriving market, it doesn't mean the market is going to crash. BTC price can NOT go down under 5.5k because of miners inside this business. IF bitcoin falls under 5.5k even the most efficient mining field would be in the red and belive me, most of the traction comes from the miners, because they are investing more and more with their profits. If miners are down, whole market is down and nobody can risk doing this right now, not even China who lost most because of crpytocurrencies.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: February 26, 2018, 01:36:11 PM
If crash for you means a huge drop for some important coins of the market, it'll probably happen once this year but that will only cause them to go even higher than before. Don't worry, crytpocurrencies will be here for a long time. If with crash, you mean their drop irreversably, it's not gonna happen.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what you think about utrust? on: February 26, 2018, 01:29:47 PM
Bought some yesterday. Fundamentals are there and it really bottomed out. I think from here on there is only one direction to go.

IMO this is it for UTK, it's at the bottom for a good reason. It would already gain some traction if it was to go up. Thinking it would go up to 5$ is more than just ambitious...
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is Ripple on: February 26, 2018, 01:22:52 PM
I haven't seen a worse grammar anytime soon but I guess the OP is trying to ask how Ripple works, its idea and strategy, a TL;DR version of what can be found online... I have the same question in mind, I hate Ripple just for one thing: They're working for/with banks. Cyptocurrency cut off banks from modern age economy and Ripple seems like a platform to get them back in. So, if someone could explain me what they do, if I'm wrong why?
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I earned $ 3500 from the 1 airdrop on: February 26, 2018, 01:17:11 PM
Wow, great!
I'm not lucky in airdrops, I even gave up signing up

Same goes for me but seeing this gave me faith again. I'll start to sign-up again!
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple Vs NEO on: February 26, 2018, 01:14:33 PM
I never liked Ripple, never will. Banks have always been around to rip people off for their best interest and cryptocurrencies cut them off for the first time since the creation of money. And because of this they are in the wake of losing the power they have. Ripple feels like a paveway for banks to gain traction in crypto world. Cryptocurrencies is starting a new age in economy and banks have no place in that.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have no clue whether XBY is the future of crypto or the most professional scam on: February 26, 2018, 01:00:58 PM
I would not get into this as it smells way much for a sound project. If this is real it will be amazing for the crypto universe and I'll be fast to invest but I'm not risking anything to see it. I'd trust the risk factor on some other projects...
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its over guys on: February 26, 2018, 12:56:28 PM
People are not attracted by mediocre results.

You're right... People would prefer a total market crash to a steady low increase... Why are we like this? Why do we like scandals?
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can I make at least $50,000 profit in 1 year with this portfolio? on: February 26, 2018, 12:49:13 PM
I'd say around 30,000 for your profit, 50,000 is really ambitious as this is a no-risk table. If you want to win big, you gotta risk big. Unfortunately, this is the situation. I'm not gonna say "go for that coin" and anything like that, do your research, know the risks and invest accordingly. Though, I'd suggest investing in some safety/crypto/anonymity projects, someone mentioned it, they'll go big this year, you might even see more than 50 grand.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eherium better than Bitcoin? Why or Why not??? on: February 26, 2018, 12:37:10 PM
both of them has different usage, bitcoin is a storage of value while ethereum is featuring smart contracts that helps developers to deply decentralized application, for me both of them are better in their own way.

That is the most accurate short answer. Bitcoin is a currency, Ethereum is some funky coding wonder that makes fully autonomous softwares (and devices, hardware in the near future) possible. To compare the two is like comparing a fruit with a vegetable. Both have their own uses and both are good in their own way...

Yeah, ok ETH is much faster when it comes to transaction time, its blocks are much more neat; it has an infinite potential, BUT i-on the other hand, Bitcoin is Bitcoin. It is the most recognizable crypto in the world, its market cap is almost doubled compared to Ethereum.

Like most said, both are good in their own way...
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins should you HODL? on: February 26, 2018, 12:28:08 PM
If you are in crypto trading full time and have time to follow every single movement in the market, take as many coins as you can, keep a track on when to dump and pump. When necessary you may go down to one coin that is expected to boom but in general, like most other said, dividing also divides the risk so keep that in mind as well.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is dentcoin worth holding? on: February 25, 2018, 12:43:12 PM
Dentcoin is good, as an investment. But the idea of being able to buy data with cryptocurrency is a scary one. Companes like Facebook sell data to governments and anyone they see fit, in means of privacy this is a scary idea indeed...
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Speculation about the grow of the market on: February 25, 2018, 12:10:07 PM
People, I hope more people understand me..

The last month seems to be the market is so unstable. It goes up and down. Is this a sign of a coming crash? Where we read positive news? These are the signs of a huge crash, because the cryptocurrency is not accepted by the ' elite '?
A few days ago, a South Koreas regulator is founded dead in his home. A accident or a murder? How knows?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5413813/South-Koreas-cryptocurrency-regulator-dead-home.html

In addition to this, I know that the cryptocurrency worldwide is often used by large companies/Governments.

Can anyone understand my feelings? If so, why? If not, why not? I am worry too much?

Just be patient and calm. A decision made with haste will only turn bad results. Don't let this unstability and all the FUD going on get into your head. All of this will turn to a stable table.
