101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is rank of bounty manager is really matters? on: April 28, 2018, 02:47:48 PM
Ya absolutely it matters as every good ICO project will hire a good well experienced bounty manager to manage their campaigns....they wont risk their reputation by giving managing rights to some newbie or junior members...hence it really matters

Less than two hours left!
105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anarchy =~ Communism on: July 12, 2011, 02:35:49 PM
Is this topic a joke.  Communism is more collectivism and anarchy is no government.  in summary they are complete opposites.

anarchy - small government - big government - socialism- communism

anarchy <> communism
No, they are not complete opposites. A communist society is stateless.
106  Economy / Gambling / Triple Trouble! #3 (3X payout, NO FEES!) on: July 12, 2011, 02:23:31 PM
Welcome to the third game of Triple Trouble!
It's like double trouble, except with a 3X payout!

To compensate for all the mishaps during the last game, there will be no fees whatsoever. I will personally cover all transaction fees for this round.

If you already know how to play:

• Ends 24 hours after last deposit.
• Minimum bet 0.05 BTC.
• No maximum bet.
• Multiple bets allowed.
• Screenshot taken after 5 minutes.
• Screenshot/client is the final authority for deposits made during the first five minutes
• After that, Block Explorer is the final authority.
• NO FEES!
• Address: 14e9zzU2zzigmcnNci5ihHjPf5zgLV12nd

• Block explorer: http://blockexplorer.com/address/14e9zzU2zzigmcnNci5ihHjPf5zgLV12nd

Have fun tripling!

If you don't know how to play:

1. Send a payment to the following address

Code:
14e9zzU2zzigmcnNci5ihHjPf5zgLV12nd

The payment has to be at least 0.05 BTC, there is no maximum.
Make sure to use the Bitcoin client to send the payment, not an online wallet.

2. Wait for other people to send deposits. Once there is three times your deposit in the pot, you will get paid three times your deposit!
The game is completely free from fees.

3. The game will continue until no payments have been made for 24 hours. The game operates in Greenwich Mean Time (http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/) and starts at 2011-07-12 09:00 PM GMT.
After the game has ended, the remaining BTC in the pot goes to the operator.

Please note that the spreadsheet is not updated instantly or automatically, everything has to be done manually.

By the way, just want to clarify that I meant no offense when I asked "You're using Ubuntu and can't forward ports?", I was just a bit surprised as Linux users tend to be pretty tech-savvy. But I guess Linux is getting more mainstream, which is a good thing Cheesy
109  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Miners of Indonesia... on: July 08, 2011, 04:10:17 AM
You can say "should" all you want, but look around.  There *are* tyrants.  There are masters, there are slaves.  How do you think it got that way?  Human society was shaped by humans.  You need a scientific study to tell you that?
Everything made by man is not spawned from human nature. If it was as you say, society would never change. Humanity would be static. In case you haven't noticed, the world is a very different place now than it was a thousand years ago. Are you saying human nature has changed in that time? Don't confuse unnatural constructs with natural ones.
110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anarchy =~ Communism on: July 08, 2011, 04:08:32 AM
It's hard to say whether anarchism and communism are alike, because there are different flavors of both ideologies. For example, there is anarcho-capitalism, which doesn't really work too well with communist ideals.

Incorrect.  Voluntary communism is perfectly permissible inside of an anarcho-capitalist society.  Just not the other way around Wink
Well, I agree. I'm just saying they're too different from each other to be considered basically the same thing.
111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Miners of Indonesia... on: July 08, 2011, 04:05:24 AM
yes but the tyrant had a wealth and power not to be tyranical, so he gots what he deserved....
That's just ridiculous. There should be no tyrants, no masters, no slaves. Only man.

Human nature produces otherwise.
According to which scientific study?
112  Economy / Gambling / Re: Triple Trouble! #2 (3X PAYOUT!) on: July 08, 2011, 03:58:59 AM
Heh, if you think this through a bit further, it's actually not that stupid.

Most likely, the guy who deposited 2.0101 BTC at the beginning of the game is the same guy as the one who deposited 3.41. He has now been paid his 6.0303 BTC... and he put in 5.41 BTC, meaning a profit, although a small one. And he has a chance to triple his last deposit, of 3.41 (although it is unlikely at this moment)

This is a great strategy to use in games where multiple deposits are allowed. You are almost guaranteed to at least get your money back, and then you have a chance to multiply your deposit.

EDIT: Also, people are still making deposits, so the game isn't dead yet just because there have been some big deposits. Who knows, this one might actually last a long time.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is actually slower than my bank? on: July 08, 2011, 02:05:11 AM
No idea how to do that. I'm one of those people you may or may not be able to see out the window.
You're running Ubuntu and don't know how to forward a port?
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Data proves Bitcoins are dropping to 0 on: July 08, 2011, 02:02:41 AM
Back that chart up there chief:  Start it in say, January, and see what the linear progression is then.
It's blindingly obviously manipulated to show what you want it to show.
I think we all know the saying about statistics.
It's a joke. The linear progression doesn't work out. It's parody, nothing more.

117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Data proves Bitcoins are dropping to 0 on: July 08, 2011, 01:54:08 AM
Here's a new chart. I applied the recent market data to linear regression theory once again, and it shows that it will hit 0. It will be during the weekend slump. The recent dip to the 11s gave more evidence to this indicator. Better sell now, folks. It's all going to end.
I bet you could prove that by digging to China you'll end up falling off the Earth... Smiley
Wait, that actually needs proving? I thought that was obvious.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: What is your favourite bitcoin browser extension? on: July 08, 2011, 01:53:20 AM
You understand it is because of the user who released this already has a lot of negativity going his way?

Hell, people on Reddit were onto him early on because of this https://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=21527.0 lol
I understand that, but:

1. It is my opinion that a lot of the negativity is unjustified.
2. This stuff isn't relevant to the quality of his code.

Yeah, he's a total fucking tool.  Like I want some amateur Javascript shit running in my browser all the time connecting to my bitcoin server.  OH WOW!  IT SAVES ME SO MUCH TIME I NO LONGER HAVE TO HIGHLIGHT, HIT CONTROL C AND CONTROL V!!!
Yeah, I'd suggest not bashing something you clearly haven't tried. Everything feels more convenient with Bitcoin Tool installed. I don't use the Send BTC feature, but simply clicking an address to view it in Block Explorer is really convenient, and being able to select it with the click of a button. And yes, one single click is actually a lot faster than highlight, CTRL + C, CTRL + V, and also much more reliable, since when you do it manually you may accidentally highlight additional characters.

Just try it out. Who cares who made it? A good extension is a good extension.

6 BTC has been sent to 1GJWJ1E2yrWS547TXFF5fTRjnH3pBfL3mK. The remaining 0.0303 BTC will be sent ASAP, I'm having some trouble with transaction fees. Thank you for your understanding.
120  Economy / Gambling / Re: Triple Trouble! #2 (3X PAYOUT!) on: July 07, 2011, 09:37:49 PM
Deposit was made during the last hour of the game, so the game has been extended! You still have a chance to triple your bitcoins, people!
