Whilst acting as a stabliser for the price.
Ready to redirect my mining to the multipool, they cannot keep the price down forever. So those that are listed on the current official pool, how will we receive the address to the multipool?

The price rise continues....
It's still severely undervalued, after PoW finishes, I’m expecting a sharp rise, current market price of $25,000 in nothing. I miss BRIT. What do you miss about BRIT? Because the owner of Britcoin sold it off as he couldn't take it any further and is now an active member of our community. The price rise continues....

Now, I do not miss the BRIT cause I am happy with my 300k SLG. 10% of all countable SLG. Nice investment!. But having 0.5% does not seem to be bad either

Is the stock market a virtual gold rush?
Well, I would say that the stock market was wild west in the 60s and 80s, when everybody thought they could make a fortune on stocks. Instead of Miners, they were called Yuppies

Haven't you thought of the gold rush? I would say we are in the middle of 21st century gold rush. It will probably be as the last time, a very few will be lucky and the rest survivals will not even earn bread and butter.

And then the namedropping of random coins have started. So let me also drop a name, but first let me share my thought:) After 1.5 year of playing around with Cryptos I have got the experience that 100.000 factors have to be considered to know whether a coin is legit or not. But still I wouldn't say it is just some guesswork to be a happy investor/miner/holder/staker. Probably a fortuneteller would have the same chance as me to become successful. My five cent would be: - Make sure the coin has solid ground values and some ideas about its future. - A dedicated developer team that is eager to make things that are useful and not just copy/paste other coins that have had the luck to become successful. Few coins have survived with only a single developer. - A community that supports the coin and do not hesitate to help each other. A community that seems to be full of egoists will probably not have any future. - If you find a good coin, spread the word to others. It's hard to become successful alone. In my case, I put a lot of interest right now in SterlingCoin. ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=721936.0)

I would snap up at least .3 to .5 BTC worth extra of this coin now. Amazing how weird crypto can be trading-wise. People are pretty stuck in their ways around here on Bitcointalk (not you guys in this board in particular, just in general). It is a reverse world. People distrust honesty and hype over failure and scam. Spencer, Matt and Steve have been very dedicated, open, fixing every issue, improving everything, handling everyone's questions. A good stable network, merchants, services – why not invest, what is holding people back to be honest? I'm not sure. I've got some money into this to the very least, especially at these prices +1 With the addition that the Sterlingcoin commuity seems to be all polite, helpful and gentle. Compared to the climate of other coin's community.

Just upgraded to 1.4 and everything works nice. Did also unlock for POS, so suddenly a lot of SLG is ticking in. Why haven't I done this before?

Just to update the Sterlingcoin community I have been busy at work with many things to support Sterlingcoin and also a side project. Here is a preview of what is to come soon No SHA256? Believe SHA256 would attract a lot of miners, which may spread the word around about SterlingCoin. There must be hundreds of thousands Asic miners that haven’t made any ROI (Return of Investment), eager to adopt a new coin that may be their luck.

Sterlingcoin Premier Edition Crypto Currency Cards Shipping Soon
Looks great, can't wait to get mine!! Thanks! The first batches of the Sterlingcoin - Premier Edition - Crypto Currency Cards have been dispatched both yesterday and today to Sweden, France, Canada and the USA. We still have some orders to ship to US customers, as well as a few other international orders and those will be dispatched before the end of this week. Delivery time is 3 to 5 working days on all international orders and I will be contacting customers with the tracking numbers asap. UK orders are also shipping this week, so Monday the 8th or Tuesday the 9th of December is now the estimated delivery date (although it could take a bit longer at this time of year ofc). ... Screen shots of the StartCOIN crypto cards have been uploaded showing those cards with the protective plastic wallet cover - see: https://www.startjoin.com/updates/project/startcoin_cc - Updates tab. I'll look to get some uploaded screen shots of the Sterlingcoin crypto cards with the protective plastic wallet cover (when I get 5 mins. to do so) as we need some good screen shots for the retail website anway. Sweden you say... I'm really excited, once the postman has delivered the card I'll flash it at the local club and order a cold English beer. Any suggestions which one to have?

Guys im trying to mine this. Looks like suprnova has all the hash , but the server is slooooooowwww. Are there any other pools that have same or higher hash that are faster? What pools are you guys on?
Vegas
Mining at http://pool.sterlingcoin.org.uk, but the hashrate seem to be quite odd with my single 7970, thought it would give more than appr. 2Gh/s. A parenthesis is that I'm using the dynamic setting in SGminer.

I asked earlier for any recommendations where I fairly may buy Sterlingcoins with Visa, but haven't got any response?
So it there any good market place?
Thanks in advance
I think it is only possible to buy Bitcoin with VISA, but you can always send it to an exchange and buy SLG there. You can buy Sterlingcoins from LiteBit with Visa/MasterCard credit cards. The 2500 coin limit at LiteBit ain't fun. So the only way is to trade USD -> BitCoin -> SLG? Don't like the trading fee when trading to BTC....

Version 1.3 is built and now in testing, watch this space.
Well done, any exciting changes? Statistics Page, Twitter Feed on Overview and Shadowchat implementation + checkpoints. what is Shadowchat and checkpoints? ShadowChat is taken from ShadowCoin. Encrypted messaging from address to address using compressed public keys with xxhash and lz4 hashing and compression encryption. http://www.shadow.cash/downloads/shadowcoin-p2p-em.pdfCheckpoints are hashes of blocks in the blockchain for the wallet to check against as it downloads the blockchain to verify the chain is correct and the wallet is not on a fork. (A fork is a deviation from the correct blockchain) I really can't explain why is price so low for this coin! This coin has great development team who proved that can be trusted and you guys are always active. Great concept, great team, excellent development, constantly active, low count of coins... Can't understand what is wrong and why is this coin so under radar. I bet it took a little longer than two months before the pounds sterling was widely accepted. Prove me if I'm wrong. It don't hurt that the difficulty is quite low, due to the low net hash rate. I'm only mining with my single gaming card (Overclocked HD7970). I have used https://www.litebit.eu to exchange Fiat to SterlingCoin. But tell me, is there better places to exchange with Visa? Litebit had a really low limit of the total amount of coins to exchange per order.

Nothing to Do - Invested some more in Sterlings...... Waiting on my Sterlingcoin Limited Edition Cryptocard... Nothing to Do - Voted in the nomination thread Nothing to Do - Looking around on everything that have been done and written so far about Sterlingcoin. You have already done some really nice difference with this coin in the otherwise quite suspect crypto-world. Many thanks. We just need the community to tweet, post and talk about Sterlingcoin and to get other people involved too. We sadly haven't had the recognition that other coins have had and we feel in most cases we deserve a lot more recognition. I'm glad that the SLG is growing organic. There haven't been any pump/dump of the coin and this we should be thankful for because there has not been a short flashing hype. Those coins I have owned that rockets in price has often also fallen down as a hawk with hang over. Such fluctuations seem to disappoint more than those lucky that sold in the right time. Disappointment often lead to giving the coin a bad reputation. Sterlingcoin is young, the older it becomes the more solid it will be. The more solid it is the more people will start to trust the coin. Things will look different in a year or two. If this coin persists with its engaged crew I believe it has all the potential to be a powerful coin to count on. This was my 5 Sterlings. Looking forward for the future development.
