That might also make me a cock sucker, but I'd be a rich cock sucker  Undecided
102  Other / Off-topic / Re: FREE MONEY! Wait what? Get outta here.. on: December 27, 2013, 10:23:15 AM
Free money!  WTF!

---

I cant believe i just got into an argument with someone over working and free money! The conversation was initially about the notion of free money! If 48% of the country is off handouts in one way or another( section 8, food stamps , general assistance)

Then why not just cut the red tape and just give everyone free money every month for doing nothing. Thats the argument that im dealt!

I was like what!!? You mean sit on your ass all day long without contributing to society in any anyway and get paid for it.. and take advantage of everyone else who works and pays taxes?? YEP!! Replied the arguee..

Man that would be aiding and abetting losers into a life of loserness! Im not talking about people who actually need assistance .. im talking about those who "choose" to life a life of dependance on purpose. People who are in your face like ---->>> "fuck you im gonna keep playing the system like its my job"!!

Its pisses me off that someone can work 20 years to save and own a home and the next door neighbor will have lived there for 10-15 years off section 8 paying about $140 a month for a home thats identical! A home you have to work 8-10 hours a day, 6 days a week for to support you and your familiy.

As if i wasnt already irritated the conversation got sidetracked and the subject was working! The arguer was now saying thats its not uncommon in some society's that people dont work!

I was like what?! what kinda of nonsense is that! Where ever the **** your at you gotta pay for food, rent clothing, transportation at the minimum!!!?? I was like what are you talking about?

Then the arguer says.. "In the Uk there are lots of immigrants that come into the country and dont work and they are given shelter and assistance." The arguer spoke as if every single immigrant in the UK did not work and just is basically sucking the life out the land and its ok!   << ---  wtf!

Why is it hard to understand the process of working and getting a reward for working hard and the harder you work the bigger the reward! Regardless if your work is physical or not. This hand out bullshit is just nuts! Someone was telling me about someone they know who is getting a disability check for being an alcoholic..

I was like what!!! Evidently he convinced some board that 30 years of drinking and being a loser should equate to receiving free money and being disabled while everyone else who works, pays that guys way!!!!

What a bunch of bs! Im not critical of people who need assistance at all ... we all need help sometimes in one way or another and we all have our strengths a weaknesses but i think everyone can contribute! We are all in the same boat! It benefits everyone to be a halfway decent member of society no matter what you do!

Why does it feel like we are living in the movie "idiocracy"!

For those who have seen it ... ( UPGRADE IS NOT COMING!!! )
 lol

To make that a little bit worse, almost every enlisted soldier from the ranks of E1 (Private) to E5 (Sergeant) is on food stamps or WIC because we make shit for pay....
103  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save This Child's Life - URGENT!!! NO DONATIONS. JUST A SIGNATURE on: December 27, 2013, 10:14:37 AM
Hi Guys,
Before you close the tab, this isn't a charity plea!
This was sent to me in an email asking me to sign a petition to help save this Child's life.

Refael Elisha Cohen, a six year old from Houston TX, was diagnosed with brain cancer. He has gone through many treatments and unfortunately, doctors have now given him one last resort.
The only possibility of saving his life is  by giving him Antineoplaston therapy. However, this therapy is currently under FDA inspection and it'll be too late for him when it is finally approved.
The FDA has the power to approve a "compassionate use exemption" so Refael Elisha can undergo this therapy before it is fully approved to try and save his life.

I know that the community here is large. We have thousands of users of different cypto-currencies here. All I ask is that you take a minute out of your schedule to sign this White House Petition to help give this brave and strong child a chance of life.

The petition can be found here: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/authorize-fda-grant-compassionate-use-exemption-refael-elisha-cohen-antineoplaston-therapy/BVSP1ZkW

Another 46000 signatures are needed by January the 2nd.

We alone on bitcointalk have the power to ensure that the petition reaches 100k signatures in order to save this Child.

Please spread the word, and post below if you have signed it. No matter what race or religion you are, we are all humans and we all have the right to live...

Many Thanks

104  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Has anyone ever reached 1pt/s mining/ on: December 27, 2013, 10:04:27 AM
Well my university computer can reach almost 2 PT/s, it is not designed for mining but for computational tasks. Still wish I could run a miner on a weekend.

That is a legitimate WTF amount to try and think of. Here I am getting 30kh/s if I'm lucky >.<
105  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What Else Could You do With Mining Hardware? on: December 27, 2013, 09:58:07 AM
According to Coinwarz, there are several other SHA-256 coins out there, like E-Mark & Terracoin. Right now though, it would take longer to mine an equivalent value in BTC with the same hash rate (for example at 30GHs would take you over 70 days to mine enough to be equivalent to one BTC). But if the bitcoin difficulty became high enough, could these just as easily be mined using ASIC's enough for a better ROI?

Right now, with btc being so difficult to mine, I imagine the best thing overall is to mine something else. Yes, it takes 70 days but at 70 days you are spending roughly 2 months worth of electricity to make, currently 750ish bucks, which overall IS an increase as compared to not even mining that amount or possibly .02 of that amount with btc.

Am I wrong in how I am thinking on this?
106  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining makes me sick on: December 27, 2013, 09:50:34 AM
I definitely agree that you need air circulation. Post up a fan in front of a window to either bring air in and circulate it or push air out. Also, doing this about once a week to your entire apartment/house is a good way to keep you from getting sick!
107  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which USB Miner Device is the best ? on: December 27, 2013, 09:43:05 AM
Tough question.  Which one is the best, or which one can you get your hands on?

Very true, even low quality USB miners (333MH) are around $70 and say they will be delivered by Q1 2014, but end up taking till Q4
Not even worth USB mining by then

Which ones are you talking about? I just bought an ASIC Eruptor (333mh) for 44 bucks on ebay.

So I know I'm brand new but I wanted to offer my services as an escrow if needed. I will not charge a % fee and will screen share the entire time so both parties will be put at ease. Both parties are open to receiving my Google voice number so you can call if needed.

I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this or if it has to get deleted.
