I see there's a miner for android, what about iOS? any plans for it? Good project guys.
Hello! Apple has explicitly banned apps that mine cryptocurrency on its devices, according to the newly updated Review Guidelines for the App Store. The new ban extends to all Apple platforms. So, until it changes, it's not probable that the team releases an iOS miner But we're always checking news and eager to find out about changes in the IT world. If there's a single possibility that those policies change, we might surely get interested in it. That's damn unfair. Do you see them loosen those restrictions soon or no way they are going to allow such applications again? I wouldn't know, to be honest. There are no hints on this topic but the recent warn by google saying that they plan to do the same with cryptocurrency miners on the play store... We are thinking of solutions about it.

My W7 is x64.
Any chance to have possibility for custom static diff or others ports on official pool ? 20000 is to high for low hashrate ... Thanks
EDIT : i've not seen port 2222
Good, you can also check if the difficulty on the community pools suits you better, check this out https://www.reddit.com/r/Webchain/comments/8viiig/webchain_mining_pools/Could you install the wallet? Download it from here according to your OS.

Hi, I have two questions: -First why there are big differences between the pool (typemine) and the miner -and is webchain a fork from eth or etc?
Hi! 1) What differences do you mean? http://webchain.typemine.com/#/ is a community pool, but it uses webchain miner, same for the official pool and the other community pools. 2) It is not a fork of any of them. It uses some of the code of ETC, but definitely not a fork.

Hi, I just discovered this project. It looks good and intersting. However, i'm getting very low hashrate on my laptop (i5) (~40h/s on the command line and only 27h/s on the pool). I heard that I can activate "huge page" but I don't think it's possible on windows 10 home.
Windows 10 home happens to miss the possibility to enable huge pages. Some other users have suggested using this http://awesomeprojectsxyz.blogspot.com/2017/11/windows-10-home-how-to-enable-lock.html. You can have a look and decide whether it's good for you.

Hello Webers,
Just discovered this nice coin and started mining it. But ran into some problem.
2x X5670 processor with 6 + 6ht ea.
I was getting low 160ish hash initially with 12 core/null setup. But I was thinking its low and turned off HT on bios, and now its around 340ish hash.
I tried to see if I could set cpu affinity setting, but I don't understand mask number system. I know its binary but I am too stupid to comprehend it.
Can some one help me with correct affinity setting so that, I can keep HT on, and have miner ignore it? So that miner just uses 12 main cores.
I really appreciate your help.
Thanks.
The hex format is not supported yet, devs have been reported of this and they are working on it. Meanwhile you can set your affinity using the decimal value. Calculate the binary number according to the number of threads and then convert it here

realy missed the start off this one , it is also good that not much people mine this , better for me when i start mining this , let's see if it is still worth after missing the start , long ago that i used my cpu for mining
Hello! You're on time to join, let us know your feedback on the miner.

Hi perog, seems like people haven't considered the profitability of mining the coin, probably because they check the price and they don't like it. The team keeps doing its job and we are sure the coin will stop being undervalued anytime soon and that's why we keep inviting users to join and help secure the network while making profit.
I think you're right. Maybe it's worth adding the web to resources like whattomine.com and cryptunit.com? We've been collecting those sites. I added those two to the list. Thank you so much.

Hello! Thanks for your wishes. Don't go too far, updates are coming.

I wonder why there are so few miners? The difficulty makes it possible to confidently hold a profit of $1.8-2/day from 1 kh/s.

thanks. How to transfer WEB from one account to the other? I use the console because I use win32
You can send coins to others by running the following command on webchaind console: > webchain.sendTransaction({from:'YOUR_WALLET',to:'OTHERWALLETNUMBER', value: web3.toWei(0.05, "ether"), gas:21000}); where 0.05 is the WEB amount you want to send.

Is it better to mine on the official pool than on the other pools? I think It's up to you to choose a mining pool, there are several factors that could help you make the "right" decision. You can see the different mining pools, the difficulties, the minimum payout, the fees, the location. It's not a question about which one is better, it's about which one suits you best. Check those details on our reddit.

I read and saw that the Webchain project could bring enormous benefits that decentralized applications could provide to the Internet. The problem of decentralization will require the project to take measures to adapt language, culture, ... differents localities. How will the project address this issue?
Hello! The team behind the project is composed of people around the globe. The idea of having people from different nationalities (different cultures) in the team helps tailor our solutions to everyone who needs it. Regarding languages, it isn't a priority yet, as it can be seen on our roadmap, the support to devs in order to build their own Dapps is scheduled for the 4th quarter, actions will be taken to assure that the support, the platform and even the marketing strategy can be adapted to multiple languages and also cultures.

a nice project , and i see the price is not so high but is promising. what is number of miners on pools?
It's great if the price is interesting for someone on the project, you need to buy coins without hesitation. Spontaneous decisions are sometimes the right ones. Remember you can find the coin on any of these two exchanges:

Yup, thanks. I did it... I never asked before, but do you have any advice on the number of threads?
Read the information here. It relates your cache memory to your number of threads.Try it out and let us know about it.
