101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CACH] CACHeCoin released based on scrypt-jane on: February 25, 2014, 06:05:22 PM
Crazy, mining on cach.catcoin.cz and i got with 300 KHs only around 1 cachecoin per day for the last 5 days.

If I mine multicoins and trade them, I'm able to buy 1.5 cachecoins per day...

So for me its better to not mine the cachecoin to get more cachecoins...sounds crazy doesn't it?

Bitmine Website:
Quote
Available in 28nm technology from 500 GH/s to 2 TH/s in 250 GH/s increments, nominal.
Hashing power of 200 / 400 / 600 / 800 / 1000 / 1200 / 1400 / 1600 GH/s in power save mode.
Hashing power of 350 / 700 / 1050 / 1400 / 1750 / 2100 / 2450 / 2800 GH/s in turbo mode.
Power consumption: from 300W (400 GH/s, power save) to 3000W (2.8 TH/s, turbo mode) on a standard 110-230 V, 50/60 Hz AC universal power supply (included).
Standard 19” rack mount case with brackets, 4 rack units height (4U)
Control unit based on Raspberry Pi board with ARM11 700MHz, 512 MB RAM and 8GB flash storage
Custom Linux operating system with Web based interface for easy configuration without any command line skills needed.
Front display with 16×2 characters

I cannot see any "not guaranteed" or maybe or best effort......people ordered because of the turbo.

So a fully populated rig with full cpp (60%) needs to achieve 4.48 TH/s

Here they say "up to", so they promised working turbo only for the rigs and not for the desks?

Currently:             8 Coincraft Desks fully deployed
Next week:          62 Coincraft Desks
Week 10:              55 Coincraft Rigs
Week 11:              55 Coincraft Rigs
Week 12:              55 Coincraft Rigs

Is this true? So they shipped just a few machines and start production for the december batch? I'm in early march batch, so my promised shipping date
would be latest 17.02.2014. This is week 12. If I look at these numbers, my expected shipping date will be something like late april or may?

If I had known that there will be a massive delay like this, additionaly no correct working turbo mode, I would have never ordered anything.

I read something about CPP here, will bitmine compensate the late shipping with additional modules? Or are there plans for additional modules for the not working turbo mode?

I don't get any usefull answer from bitmine and I'm completly confused about the status ....

Started mining yesterday, I noticed today 3 CACH/MHs/Day?

Is that what currently is to be expected?
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Searching cgminer 3.7.2 binaries with scrypt jane support on: February 19, 2014, 07:46:49 PM
Hi,

As topic headline tells, I'm searching cgminer 3.7.2 with scrypt jane support to run on ubuntu 64.

I tried to compile it, but failed. I used guides from https://sites.google.com/site/rmdavidson/cgminer-3-7-2-patch-build-guide but no success in the last 2 days.

Does anyone has binaries to provide?

Thanks for any information!

Hi,

for two days now I try to compile cgminer with the provided patch. I tried https://sites.google.com/site/rmdavidson/cgminer-3-7-2-patch-build-guide and the patch from there.

I'm able to compile when I do not apply the patch, I got a working cgminer work perfectly together with my HD 7970. After sj patch, I got only errors, no binaries.

Are there binaries existing with scrypt-jane support for ubuntu?

Thanks for any help.....

The "Turbo mode" from CoinDesk and Rigs isn't working as promised?

What does this mean, can I run the miner 24/7 in Turbomode in a normal enviroment (standard server room with cooling around 18 degrees celsius) or not?

It would be very disappointing if thats true.
108  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 13, 2014, 10:29:46 AM
For all customers in March batch its the same. They will not be able to make any profit.

I did calculations and it shows me 2.8 BTC until the end of the year (excluded electricity) with a 600GHs CoinDesk and difficulty increase of 20% per 11 day timeframe.
20% per 11 days? Your calc ended with 10'000 petahash of total network hashrate in december? Now it's at 20.

I did calculations for this year until december. The last jumps were about 20% each. I cannot see why this should stop or decrease. What makes you hope that diff will not increase with these steps? KNC datacenters around the globe a.s.o.

Invest : 3.500$
Mining : 2.800$ (with BTC at value 1000$!)

So if bitmine will not compensate this, every customer will make a big loss...;-(

For an simulated user action including mouse clicks and keyboard entries you can use AutoIt from www.autoitscript.com.

There you can record a macro und can loop it infinite.

Hope it helps...

Seems to be a good idea to offer ppl the ability to rent some scrypt mining KHs.
But what I do not understand is the price. When I take a look at the calculator...

1000 KHs for ~ 1,4 BTC -> 1050 $, break even in 259 days.

Have I made a mistake? This cannot be correct? I mean, for this price it would be much cheaper to buy a little rig myself with 1500 KHs and electricity included for 2 years.

Where is my fault?

No one has an idea?  Sad
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / HD 7970 on x1? on: January 30, 2014, 11:06:24 AM
Hi,

My motherboard has 1 PCI Express 1.0 Slot, running an HD 7970 GPU. Everything seems ok, I got a hasrate ~700KHs after playing with parameters.
The board has no additional PCI Express slot. Is it possible to connect an additional GPU (HD 7970) to the x1 slot with a cable 1x-16x? Or do I have to buy a new board with enough slots?

Thanks for any information!
114  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Multipool und Autosell on: January 29, 2014, 07:48:29 AM

Intensity 13
Memory 1500
Engine 1000
Powertune +20
G 2
TCon 8192
= ~700 Khs

Back to Topic:

115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Switch Pools via WebInterface on: January 28, 2014, 12:13:31 PM
Hi,

I'm relative new to this forum. Just started some scrypt mining a few days ago. Currently using multipool.us mining most profitable coins.

Due to the fact that I'm often away from home and my miner, I would like to see a webinterface wich is connected to my cgminer, to be able to switch pools or ports via internet.

Does anything like this exist? Or is there a workaround to to that?

Thanks for any information...
116  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Multipool und Autosell on: January 28, 2014, 11:18:28 AM
Hallo zusammen,
