Instead of throwing the scam card around, why don't we just wait and see what happens?

Because CTS_Miner.

They have already said there are no pre-orders, so just wait!

Wait for someone to get scammed?!?
102  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New Revolutionary Mining Technology on: January 30, 2014, 03:48:28 PM
you may have noticed several times we have said we are asking for no money from anyone. not for orders or deposits, until there is a prototype to demo.

That's the proper way to approach this.

All we have said is if people want to show us their support before then we will not say no and arguably this is no different to a donation which many people ask for.

And this is where you lose all credibility.

I call bullshit. This is a scam.
103  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BitOfGlory.com - here's another one. on: January 30, 2014, 04:19:56 AM
I set up an account as of Friday with Bit of  Glory. So far I received excellent service. I have not yet tried to wire any profits back to my account. That will be the real test.
From what I understand they just started this site in Jan. of this year. Sounds like they have some bugs to iron out which is understandable.

I signed up Tuesday of last week. I received excellent service and signed up for 5 TH/s. Their dashboard is really good the BTC earned in this week is consistent with what I would have with physical hardware. I have actually received a payout which is scheduled weekly. My first payout I requested earlier on that Sunday to see if it was legit. They told me that it took two days to process and I would receive through bitpay. I did in fact receive 6.6btc from them on Tuesday, two days after Sunday as stated.

Second sentence, essentially the same message. Are they working from a script?

ZigBee? Really? Did you throw that in there just to see if we were paying attention?

It's been over a week, and we haven't heard back from Dgdistrb on this.

I'm thinking that either (a) newbie got scammed, or (b) newbie was in on it. In both cases, newbie seems to have disappeared.
107  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Not] Good price at CEX.io on: January 28, 2014, 04:04:32 PM
Price is falling down again.
They sold more than 10TH/s yesterday.

PS. And don't forget to check your investments here: http://mining-profit.com/  Wink

Already on its way back up. I think still a good opportunity before diff change.

Apparently I missed one.

And thank you for bringing your stellar contribution to the discussion  Grin.

Hey, you're free to waste your time arguing idiotic semantics if you want. But by the same token, the rest of us are free to point and laugh at you for being pedantic dipshits.
BCP, please stop creating extra accounts at BitCoinTalk. Thanks.

Damn, you got me! I'm totally BCP! And we are Satoshi, too.
109  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Nimbus Cloud Mining Service $40 a GH on: January 28, 2014, 06:04:48 AM
You always say that? I've read every single post you've ever made on this forums and every other forum on the internet, and you have never once said that before.

My hats off to you then, sir. You clearly have more time to waste than I do. Bravo!

I always find it ironic how often people who claim not to have the time to waste on such insignificant discussions do in fact just that... and then just to add the cherry on top comment about other people wasting their time  Grin.

I've got plenty of time to waste. I just prefer to do it laughing at dipshits. Semantics are fucking boring.

Might as well be entertained by the stupidity of others, I always say.
111  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Not] Good price at CEX.io on: January 28, 2014, 04:52:44 AM
maybe I missed something.... What the hell happened last night that made the price shoot down in one day

I personally rode my sleigh around the world and slapped some god-damned sense into these morons.

The way I see it is if the ASICs break, Nimbus will have to send it to BFL for RMA, so BFL is simply a reseller of Nibus who is a reseller of BFL.

The way I see it, y'all are arguing about absolutely nothing. Good luck with that.
114  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Announcing NEW 3TH/s and 5TH/s 20nm Bitcoin Miners on: January 28, 2014, 01:38:41 AM
Why don't you two post pictures with today's paper so we can get after the real scumbags, if they aren't you?  This is the third time I've asked.  Your ignoring that request is very suspicious.

Dumbfuck twatwaffle. Ignoring.
115  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Nimbus Cloud Mining Service $40 a GH on: January 27, 2014, 07:08:31 PM
So for those reading along Butterfly Labs IS selling Cloud Hashing services on their website that you can buy TODAY and purchase through the BFL shopping cart, click pay, and they will take your money and provide the service.

That's still incorrect. BFL isn't providing the service. Y'all can argue the semantics of the word "sell" all you want, but the service provider is decidedly not BFL.

Calm down dude.
Maybe OP was really eager to know the answer at that moment....

Or maybe he's clueless with entitlement issues.
117  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Does bitcoin need more sha-256 chains? on: January 27, 2014, 04:34:39 PM
What do you all think?

I think the idea, while interesting on the surface, lacks two critical things:

A) Coin legitimacy. As we've seen from all the CrapCoins, it's fairly difficult to get a coin to the point of critical mass where people want it such that it has value.
B) A balancing mechanism. Miners will mine whatever is most profitable. Today, that means Bitcoin. If all the miners chase whatever is the most profitable at the time, you will see all that hashpower constantly chasing whichever coin is hot at the moment. You can see this effect at multipool.us, as their entire pool is switched based on the relative exchange rates between Bitcoin and the various altcoins. Lacking any kind of formal balancing mechanism, that phenomenon will continue to exist.

Looks like a scam to me but the accept paypal so im not sure.

15 views and people keep moving on with no insite. Common this is sopposed to be a helpful bitcoin community but im getting nothing here.

Fifteen views is practically nothing. Are you seriously demanding an answer from the 15 random people who happened to click on a topic with a very vague subject and almost no actual content?

What an asshole.
119  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Announcing NEW 3TH/s and 5TH/s 20nm Bitcoin Miners on: January 27, 2014, 03:53:22 PM
Yeah it would prove it.  No scammer, with the possibility that the forum pool is going to find out the username of the criminal (bitcoins paid to the scam have been traced the this forum's hardware buying pool, if you can believe it), would post their picture under that username, thus proving they are the criminal.  All the FBI would have to do is trace the I.P. address of that member, then go find the face that used it.

You're operating under the assumption that they are guilty and that they need to prove their innocence. If I were them and I just got scammed, I would say "fuck you" to this idiotic demand.

Prove they are guilty, and then we'll talk. Until then, STFU.
120  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Cloud Hashing / Commodity Hashing - Why bother? Isn't hardware cheaper? on: January 27, 2014, 03:43:18 PM
But still, I am really confused why people buy the hashrate at such a high price...

Because greed makes people (some people, anyway) retarded.
