I flipped when I saw this coin ... my son was born on the year of the sheep!
Just voted on cryptsy; keep up the great work! Had trouble getting my cubes to work solomining, but happily chugging along on the pool so far.

Before 10+ altcoins were created on a daily, it took nothing to get a coin on an exchange. Most of the time, the same day or next day after the coin was released it was added to an exchange. GOATCoin is a coin designed to be great, hints the name (Greatest of all time). It encourages users on every aspect to take pride in the coin by setting goals and giving rewards. But the only problem is to start the goal/reward system (which is the whole concept of GOAT) we must be added to an exchange. We average 1TH+ of mining power on the network, we have a pretty big support group behind us, over 350 votes (391 to be exact) on our cryptsy page plus 31 pages of comments ( https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/74120/page/31), the list goes on. As a dev is just a little frustrating. People are ready to exchange and we would like to start the next chapter of our coin which is the goal and reward system. So I leave with this question... What does it take to get on cryptsy? Is it just based off of if BitJohn likes your coin or not? I'm a little confused ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) You must be new. There was a time it took a long while to get a coin listed. I guess the bottom line is 3 things: If you can bribe cryptsy to take up your coin If they mined the shit out of your coin first. How much money they can get off trades in commission. Not too new. But yeah I guess that makes since. They could make a nice bit of commission plus when we did our massive rewards if goals were complete they would make tons of profit. I guess I just have to give it time? I tried explaining to him that we need this to began the whole concept of GOAT but I'm not sure if he honestly really cared or if he is just waiting.

Thank you, I did. I told him it might be too much for me to run and moderate two forums though. Much easier to have one main thread mate, but thanks for pointing that out. Someone get to it on a Goatcoin Block Explorer & maybe a website GOATcoin ?
Website for GOATCoin info coming soon. I have a blockexplorer but it looks way too cheap (so I'm not releasing the link, I just had it created to use it as an addnode ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ) plus it doesn't have a section to search certain GOATCoin addresses. If anyone knows someone that can create a decent block explorer please do contact me Edit: Btw if you haven't voted, please do https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/74120/page/31

can GOATCoins be purchased? How can a guy with a Mac get in on the GOAT? Baaaaah!
Yes there is an exchange thread to buy/sell in or you can post in this thread with a buy order. We never compiled a Mac wallet but you're the second to ask so I guess it's time to do it! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Where is the exchange thread, may I ask? I am interested in selling a couple if someone would like to buy. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I would just message the above user that wants to buy some! But here is the link mate https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=433684.new#new

Can I vote again? Voting! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Again go team Goatcoin! I am throwing everything at you now minus my scrypt miners. Which isn't a ton but not too shabby. I am impressed how this coin is friendly to small miners with the special difficulty design. This is definitely a plus to its design and long term longevity. Keep up the Goat! GSqk3wsqsDzuitASk4XHosA9KcbbnSncUn A very nice idea to add to this coin, my 2 cents: Colored Coins. Build it in somehow. Colored Coins are going to be a big advantage in the future. And possibly build GoatCoin as a inherited value for plausible future cryptos. The team has done a nice job, just noting some of my observations. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I can put together a shopping cart for GoatCoin, maybe a fan site too. Anything you could do would be great! We are ready to start the main concept of GOATCoin which is the goals/rewards system. This is virtually impossible without an exchange. I've reached out to a few exchanges but now I must wait. I feel like BitJohn is leaning towards us but then again I have no idea, he is an unreadable person. Just continue spreading the word about GOATCoin mate, we will get our turn!

Yeah, we have really lost of votes. I am pretty noob in economics, i am rather engineer=)
What is the best strategy to increase coin value on the market? As far as i understand just holding coins for yourself isn't the best idea. It is better to fill the market with coins at initial high value. So to say to force the price. But what value should it be?
Our first goal for GOAT is for it to be worth 0.05 btc. This goal will be changed though. Once we get on an exchange I will release the first goal and I'm changing the goal to 0.02. The day we finish with a trading average of .02 ore more the massive reward will take place (will be announced before it starts). But for starters I say the lowest people should sell for is .001

Literally just waiting on BitJohn to announce at any moment that he is adding GOATCoin. We have almost 400 votes on cryptsy plus 30 pages of comments, tons of hash on the network, support here... it is time for the next step which is to be on an exchange so we can start the goal/reward system ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Lets go BitJohn, we need you mate

Hi, i noticed that the difficulty oscillate between 1k and 30k every 10 hours or so. Is that intentional? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Its only doing this because of the low hash and our difficulty settings! But yes it is mate ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
