I said it pages ago: do not engage. That's how that kind of person wins.

Atlantis should start his own thread where he can spout off and I can just rip off stream of consciousness diatribes  Cheesy

Hey guys let me know if this helps??

Step 1:  Open your wallet
Step 2:  At the top you will see an option:  Help
Step 3:  Click Console tab.  Then at bottom of that screen, type in help
Step 4:  You will see a list of commands the program can receive for your wallet, near the bottom of the list, notice the walletpassphrase command syntax.
Step 5:  where you typed in help, type in:  walletpassphrase yourwalletpassword 9999999 true.  yourwalletpassword is the encryped password you gave your wallet.
Step 6:  Notice your wallet lock should now be unlocked (lower right corner).  Also, I think the code now perform auto minting when the wallet is unlocked when you pass the true variable.
Step 7:  When you want to lock your wallet, type in walletlock.

Please let me know if this helps.  I also struggled for days trying to figure this out.  I work with programmers every day and know how they think, they sometimes have a manual command line way to perform certain functions.  I'm glad this version has the console command line configured in.

I'm looking for more comprehensive info on minting PHS.  I've looked at the above post but I have a few questions.
- If I haven't encrypted my wallet will my Stones automatically convert to POS?
- If not, what do I have to do?
- Once I have stones minted, what happens when if I spend some or add more to my wallet - do I have to wait the 5 - 15 days again?

Thanks in advance.

HI,

-yes
-nothing!
-an example: If you have an input of 100PHS and you send 50 then stake resets on all 100, so it's usually best to send PHS after they stake, to maximize return. And yep, after 5-15 days they will stake again +  stake on the stake (dust) too.

Thanks for the answer.  Just to clarify, if the stake resets after any coins leave the wallet, would it be smart to have 2 wallets - one in which I leave the coins to stake "permanently" and one in which I keep Stones I may be sending/spending?

You are right, this coin has nothing going for it other than one small thing. The name is a good one, BUT, the dev is not. This coin is dead, I told you way back at .00025 that it would keep falling, but you idiots bashed me saying I was just trying to "scare" you into selling. Bet you wish you would have now,, right? Here is some more free advice, this coin is going to halve in price AGAIN within 2 days. Don't believe me? Fine.

Found this thread in the Alt section, started by the quotee in this post. Great read and every word of it true, don't believe what I have said or what he says? Fine be a broke bagholder.

Sockpuppet biatch.  Lol and the reason you're so annoying is because you aren't even a decent TROLL.

Let me ask you a question.  If you're such a market maven; such a financial master; such a currency wunderkind, then why the fuck are you dicking around in new alt currency launch threads where your total financial exposure was...nil?

I'd really like to know.  I mean if I was as smart as you, I'd be out there playing in the BTC market.  Or maybe I'd have some fun by trading some of the many already established coins with their significant market fluctuations.  There's a ton of stuff I would be doing that would be a more worthwhile use of such an overwhelmingly superior intellect.  One thing I wouldn't be doing is trolling threads like the EAC and SMC announcements.  So, again; why are you here?

I'll tell you why.

You're just another epeen waving, me me me, drama queen, sad troll asshat.  People like you have been online since the days of dialup BBS's and Archie clients and are as common as piss dribbles on a public urinal and even less appealing.

The truth is, you've got nothing better to do.  At all.  How sad for you...

Atlantis, stop being a drama queen. Do what you want to do, what do we care?

I will, I had the pleasure of dropping the first price below .0001, I dropped it to .000075. Your welcome!! That is for being a smartass! I bought at over .0001 and sold to .000075.

Actually I can shed some light on that for you, this Atlantis guy is neither actually. What he is, umm lets liken him to the kid who got taken out on the playground and had the shit beat out of him by a bunch of nasty bullies who hated him and then all the little pissants came running out and kicked him also because of how he thought.

I can see why all those kids beat the shit out of you.

I don't like it when dev says I twisted his/her words and that I need to learn how to read FOR ONCE, as in I am tooo frickin stupid to understand.  When I post the dev's exact words proving him/her wrong, dev just doesn't reply to it.  I had asked earlier how old and what sex dev was. I wanted to know because that way I may have more patience with how dev is handling everything. My guess, and I could be wrong completely, but I peg guess the dev to be a 22 year old female. Did I get close?

blahblahblah nitpicky whines blahblahblah repost of creepy request blahblahblah rude, sexist comment.

Awesome.  Trifecta of douchery in a single post.

The dev threatens to moderate/ban people if they post in this thread unless it is urgent, REALLY? SERIOUSLY?

...

DEV, If you moderate my opinion  any anyway, I will open my own moderated thread on the subject, so you may want to keep it here.

I also get a kick out of how you complain about the threat of moderation and then say you'll open your own moderated thread.  Roll Eyes

Dev said Atlantis Platform: I said don't put addresses in the thread unless its urgent. Read my post for once. Maybe you didn't bend my words purposefully, but you definitely didn't read properly.

AtlantisPlatform replied to ditzy dev with paste from dev's own post on dev's OP : • Coins are coming soon, please be patient and don't post in the thread unless it's urgent. I haven't started to use the moderation feature, but I won't hesitate if it gets out of hand.

Now what dev?, admit you were wrong for accusing me of twisting your words and accusing me of not knowing how to read???

Maybe someone will ignore you AtlantisPlatform Wink

Why, did I say something untrue?? Did Poolerino's pool get ignored also, he is running a pool and has asked for help from dev but he has posted on his website that he is still waiting on dev to reply. Ignore him to? Ignore everyone, it only isolates you. Go ahead. Ignore.

how much will it cost me to get you to shut up? give us your address and how much coins you want to stop crying.

^  LOL win!
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ••• [ANN][SMC] SmartCoin • FAIR DISTRIBUTION • 3 EXCHANGES [COINMARKET.IO] ••• on: January 30, 2014, 07:20:53 PM
Quote
It's worth what it's worth. You can't really say for certain that it's worth 0.0004 SMC/BTC. If it were, that'd mean I'd have earnt $169.18 in a single day of mining. By comparison, mining LTC would have gotten me $40-44. Mining DOGE about $55-60 at the moment. Sure it might hit 0.0004 in the coming weeks and/or if it hits Cryptsy ("will be on Cryptsy" - do you know this for a fact?) but there will be a lot of people selling at that price point too.

There are some facts that can't be ignored. Coin has very good launch and network speed is high. Now for each 1MH/s you can get 120 SMC/day on pool. Today's rate is 0.0002-0.0003 SMC/BTС, so you could earn 20-30$/day for each MHash/sec. And why I know that it will hit Cryptsy... Seriously, look at all coins that are presented last days. Two among them are very nice - VertCoin and SmartCoin... I think that Cryptsy are not blind, so they will add those coins soon. Next price growth will be when it will be listed on CoinMarketCap.

First I have lost confidence in the coin's dev. This person hasn't been able how to send coins to 1500 people in 4 days. The dev  calls people greedy when they ask where their promised coins are. The dev threatens to moderate/ban people if they post in this thread unless it is urgent, REALLY? SERIOUSLY? I don't think dev has what it takes to run this coin. This coin has very little buzz, most of the posts are from people wanting to know where their coins are.

The dev comes off frazzled and half hsyterical over the whole coin give away and has taken to calling their early signups greedy and orders them not to post anymore. Poor!

Now for the price, when it hits cryptsy if it does, the price is down from here, look at many of the other coins, what happened? The high of this coin was .0005, I sold at .000465, that was the high. Cryptsy will drive the price lower than where it is now.

DEV, If you moderate my opinion  any anyway, I will open my own moderated thread on the subject, so you may want to keep it here. Seeing as how hard it was for you to figure out a way to send a few coins, you should have just had everyone who signed up early to send you a pm with their address and you double check if they were signed, using a search function, then send them coins, done! Other coin dev's have taken a huge amount of people screaming that their coin was a scam and they dodn't moderate or ban them, why would you moderate someone who asks where their agreed upon coins are after 4 or 5 days???

Oh and one other thing, Cryptsy may not add this coin for a long while seeing as how the dev has 50% of all coins in existance.

Your logic is flawed. If you are so concerned with getting your coins as early as possible then me sending 1500 people coins  manually would take more than a week and I wouldn't have any time to do anything else. If you are so confident that the task was so easy, then you should have offered to PM all of those people. I also haven't moderated anyone's opinions. The only posts that I have deleted are the 2 posts made at the launch with a fake wallet that had a virus. I said I would delete   posts that had wallet addresses since it is against the forum rules. I said if there is a situtation that needs investigation and requires an address then addresses would be allowed. Don't try to bend my words into something I never said. Based on what you've said it is clear you have no interest in this coin, which only reinforces my assertions by the people pressuring to get the coins faster. Almost everyone who has PMed me has been acceptful that they may not receive it as early as I intended.

Dev, I don't care about the 45 coins at all, in fact pm if you don't know my email and you can delete it. I didn't bend your words at all, you called one poster greedy for asking where the coins are, did you not?? You also asked that noone post in this thread unless it was urgent , did you not? Do I need to copy and paste what you said, what did I twist, I want to know so I can correct it, go back and reread your posts. I never twisted anything!!!!!1

I said don't put addresses in the thread unless its urgent. Read my post for once. Maybe you didn't bend my words purposefully, but you definitely didn't read properly.

DEV!!! You did NOT say to just not post addresses in forum, You said to not post in the forum unless it is urgent, did you now. Your not being truthful, you said to not post in the thread, don't say I twisted your words, read your  words. This is why I have lost confidence!  This is copied from your OP.

• Coins are coming soon, please be patient and don't post in the thread unless it's urgent. I haven't started to use the moderation feature, but I won't hesitate if it gets out of hand.

Maybe you need to read your OWN words for once dev, your an idiot. Don't you know what you posted on your own GD OP?

Oh my god, man.  I think you have more posts than anyone in this thread and all you do is bitch bitch bitch and troll troll troll.  Have you offered a single constructive comment?

If you don't like the way things are going - leave.

You said you sold out at the high price:
Now for the price, when it hits cryptsy if it does, the price is down from here, look at many of the other coins, what happened? The high of this coin was .0005, I sold at .000465, that was the high. Cryptsy will drive the price lower than where it is now.

You said you don't care about the 45 coins:
Dev, I don't care about the 45 coins at all, in fact pm if you don't know my email and you can delete it.

And you threatened to leave and make your own thread:
DEV, If you moderate my opinion  any anyway, I will open my own moderated thread on the subject, so you may want to keep it here.

So.....why the hell are you still here?  Go make your thread!  Then you can complain and moan and spill all the bile you want and we don't have to wade through pages of your crap every time we check the thread.

Is all this whining for free coins??

Human beings are generally hopeful creatures. We often underestimate how long it takes to do things. It's entirely possible it would take 1, 2, 3, 4 more days to create private keys and associated balance transfers to those keys, and send out etc. Who knows what additional work he's had to do in recent days. I really can't believe how uptight some people are... or have I got that totally wrong?  Roll Eyes

IT WAS THE DEV, WHO OFFERED "COME SIGN UP EARLY FOR MY COIN AND I WILL GIVE YOU 45 COINS FOR DOING SO WHEN I LAUNCH, PEOPLE SIGNED UP AND DEV DIDN'T COME THROUGH. Noone is whining, they want the dev to hold up his end of the bargain. Why doesn't he get his butt over here and let us know?? Why is he on his other forum giving away free coins in ANOTHER give-away when he didn't complete the first one?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

The fact you're typing in capital letters and using 13 emoticons in a row proves my point. What effort did you go to? Enter an email address?! Take a chill pill as you're acting like an outraged child.

Just click the "Ignore" link under his name.

I'm kinda bummed that I wasn't able to get on that 45 free coin action. First off, I've been mining since block 1 (well, 2). Secondly, look at my name! Lastly, I was here at the thread yesterday which was, technically, before the 27th cut-off date but I didn't see any pointer to a registration site where I could sign up. Am I blind?

Smartcoin, is there any way I can earn my way into the fold today? I've got some time on my hands and I'd like to contribute.

The info about the free coins and the bonus coins for promoting Smartcoin was on the OP for well over 2 weeks prior to launch.

I'm only running a few hundred khs but I just switched from hash.so (which was working fine) to poolerino (which is also working fine).  It's not much on an individual level but if a bunch of people here also switched or even just redirected some of their workers on hash.so to another pool things will smooth out quickly.

120  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: $99 Sale! YellowJacket 2.2GH USB Miner (Nanofury) In Stock and Ready to Ship! on: January 24, 2014, 05:14:20 AM
I received my 3 today.  2 worked perfectly - almost plug and play.  Overclocked to 53 with negligible rejects and HW errors around 0.35%.  The 3rd unit registers as a USB device but can't be found by bfgminer.  My hub hasn't arrived yet so these are plugged directly into the computer but I've tried every usb port and no dice.

I am very new to this so I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out I'd missed something simple.  Any thoughts?

Got a response via email and will do more troubleshooting tonight.

Once I plugged all 3 into my hub, they worked fine.  Customer service was great!
